Arrived for lunch to read that they had already sold out of baked potatoes and only one type of quiche left which was £6.50 for a slice. Had to buy extras to go with it. It was only 12.50 pm. Not a lot of options left. Go out for lunch regularly and never found anywhere ‘sold out’ at that time. Will not be visiting again.

We visited the cafe for Lunch and it exceeded our expectations . I had the Buddha Bowl Salad Dish and it looked good and tasted delicious. My partner had a sandwich and loaded chips but they managed to elevate these. He loved the chips. I tried a few and they were really good. We will definitely be back for either brunch or lunch.

Fantastic Garden Centre with the best staff around really great, a real credit. Was the best cafe around for breakfast until recently. Visited every week. Then the menu is changed and so is the bread supplier. Now the food is very average . What a pity another great place gone downhill. Will not be going again to eat.

Nothing better than a spot of garden centre shopping before settling down to some lunch! A well presented menu can cause problems. Great choices, so, which one to go for? Maybe next time I shall take a coin and simply toss heads or tails - whichever comes down will be good. A delightful selection of cakes too,mm..

I took my two grandaughters to the Wellington cafe for lunch today, MY one grandaughter has allergies & preference to foods. I asked for an egg sandwich for her that was not on the menu. The friendly ladies on the counter said yes to the egg sandwich. Very nice attitude & so helpful. All three of us had a delicious lunch . The service was spot on too. I would definitely recommend it . Thank you to the lovely staff in the cafe.

A friend and I popped by for coffee and a catch up and had a very nice experience. The toasted tea cakes were delicious and the coffee was good but my coffee was certainly not “extra hot “ as I had requested. The cafe is clean and comfortable and the staff polite. There is extra seating outside and also a private dining log cabin I spied, en route to the toilet ( which incidentally is a very long way away from the cafe.) The gift shop sells beautiful gifts, stationery, artisan gin, cider etc plus a few lovely toys. There is a terrific range of plants for sale too. The car park gets very busy when it’s a bank holiday so be prepared to look hard for a space.

We did not actually get there. We wanted to book a table for a party of 9 for Easter Monday lunch. We phoned over a week in advance to give good time. After a deal of time on the phone and much 'fuffing' around, we were told it would not be possible - either for their new Garden Room or for the main cafe/restaurant. So goodbye! We thought that the catering trade were after as much support as possible - not here, turning c. £200 of trade away. In contrast another local garden centre could not have been more helpful and readily booked us all in and even phoned back to double check the time and date. Sorry Wellington, concentrate on the basics rather than supposed fancy menus. CMDPJD Local

Having concluded a walk round the IronAge fort at Sutton Walls (Sutton St. Michael) we needed a brew to drive off the mist and chill. A short drive through Marden took us to the Wellington Garden centre. Plenty of car park space and a cheery 'good morning' from the staff by the entrance too. In spite of a 'busy' car park there was plenty of room for us in the airy cafe/restaurant. We intended a short break for a coffee, however, we were seduced by the very varied menu. Coffee on the way, so too a jacket potato with beef chilli, mmm My partner in crime had what was described as a 'Buddha bowl'. That turned out to be a mixed salad type thingy with beans, couscous, sweet potato and salad leaves - oops, there was a dip too. I'm not to sure where 'Buddha' comes into play though. Both meals were simply excellent. Being a hungry soul I cleared my dish whilst my partner was beaten by the volume. Thankfully we had the coffee to help everything down! The setting is delightfully airy, with plants as decor and other nick-nacks, all apparently available for purchase too. The staff were friendly and quite chatty. We took in a tour of the well laid out garden centre, both the indoors with its spread of household items and garden furniture and the outdoors shrubs and tubs together with a wide range of plants to fill them and the garden. Back on the road having carefully logged the centre on the Sat-Nav for a return visit. Maybe that visit will be when the weather is warmer.. Still, we now know where we shall go for a coffee and maybe stay for lunch once more.

I am along standing cafe customer and am very disappointed to see your vastly reduced menu. Why can’t you go back to the pre and pandemic menu served and cooked outside with delicious bacon and sausage baps, burgers and pizzas? I am sure existing customers would much prefer this rather than your new menu. Living in hope as I really enjoy the ambience when visiting but would find it difficult to visit as often with the new menu. John

Went in the purchase a rug. Hand written sign clearly stated one price and no size written on the sign as well as only one size rug being on show. When I went to pay they tried charging a higher price for product and refused to honour the price it had been advitised at. Error in their sign and pricing but they stated it was obvious to them that that price was for a smaller size rug (which wasn't even on show). Rude and unwilling to except their advertising was wrong. Won't be using that garden centre again!

Came in on the Thursday bank holiday of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee - the standard menu had been replaced with a special jubilee menu, and various stalls had been set up serving different things. Walked up to the hot dog stand, saw the price, turned back and went somewhere else. £7.50 for a plain hot dog, and had the cheek to charge an extra 50p for onions !!! We called yesterday for Sunday lunch. Chose the Vegetable curry with rice and soya latte. The lattes were just warm and very small considering they were the large ones, quite expensive for what they were. The curry was more like a small hot pot with a few green beans on top, no tomatoes or mushrooms and very little flavour. Some people sat near to us had a dog with them, which was licking the table at one point. This is out fourth visit and although the shop is very nice, think the cafe is very expensive and has a very limited choice on offer. We went home via Morrison's cafe in Leominster as we were both pretty hungry.

Everything was beautifully set out and Staff very friendly but we couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw the bill !! - £2.90 for a scone and for a scone with a bit of red sweet jelly ( jam I presume) and horribly sweet squirty cream we had to pay £3.50 ! - will never go back as those sort of prices are unacceptable for scones . Unfortunately we were not really aware of the prices before we paid - which I freely admit was our own fault as we were talking at the time and not really paying attention. The lady in the cafe brought treats for the dogs, the dogs were allowed into the cafe with us rather than being banned to the outside area - so nice that well behaved dogs are treated just like any other visitor. Walk-in at 6.00 on a Saturday evening, as we happened to be in the area and lived the look of the menu. Nobody greeted us, but we asked the lady who appeared to be in charge whether they were serving food that evening. She rolled her eyes. The conversation then went as follows: Her: Have you booked? Us: no, I'm afraid we haven't. Her: Huh. (Rolls eyes again, goes over to the bookings list). It's very quiet, but I don't really want to do any more today. Us:... Her: I suppose I could do 7 o'clock... Us: Don't worry, bye! Her: Huh. No way were we going to give our business to somewhere with such a bad attitude. But it turned out well for us - we ended up at the Lal Bagh Bangladeshi restaurant down the road, and had possibly the best curry we've ever eaten!

First visit to The Railway Inn Dinmore. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. 1 adult had an allergy to a foodstuff, staff were able to advise which meals were suitable - majority of meals, but Chef would accommodate as meals were freshly prepared. Booking advisable. Wait a while for your meal as its freshly prepared but well worth the wait. Good presentation of food, hot, tasty good quality. Off the beaten track, but well worth a visit. Beautiful location and tasteful décor. Will certainly visit again.

Nice place, but when asking about nuts in the carrot cake the girl didn't know. Shouldn't rain their staff on anaphylaxis and its dangers.
