The chefs mini breakfast includes an absolutely Revolting Sausage (you know the salami type thing wrapped in thick cellophane like jacket) with this £7.95 breakfast , it's inedible !75% of the the plate is filled with beans, and you get one fried egg and one round of toast . Awful, I'd never dine there again!

Place was dirty, table was sticky. Coffee was cold, very slow service and an unfriendly attitude from the lady who “greeted” us. I would avoid if in the area again.

So friendly and incredibly good food I recommend the steak and kidney pudding followed by some of the best ice cream I have ever eaten.

Brilliant service,accommodated 11 of us with no warning, a range of different foods was ordered and everyone was more than happy.

The best ever Sundae and tastiest GF Vic Sponge are two reasons we will be returning . Places like this are what make Great Britain great . Fabulous good value food served by friendly nice people in a comfortable environment…what’s not to like 🤷‍♂️

Popped by.. Best hearty food.. warmed the cockles.. lovely to find on a cold Novembers day.. not just an ice-cream parlour anymore.. Go & eat!

We arrived late in the day after a long walk, and enjoyed a cuppa and cake. The coffee was perfect and both cakes were delicious! Despite us arriving near closing time the proprietors made us feel very welcome and we did not feel rushed to finish. A very friendly and welcoming cafe, and the prices are very reasonable. I will return whenever I'm in Ledbury.

Never experienced such bad customer service and manners. Both man and lady very grumpy and incredibly rude. Ice creams were nice but these people should not be in customer service !! Poor young girl working behind the counter also being barked at!!

Classic rural market town café! Presentation a bit random but don’t be fooled ! The food is really well done, the prices are very reasonable and the range on the menu is extraordinary. Service is warm, easy going and good natured. Really enjoyed our visit.

We were nearby, looking for somewhere to have a late lunch/early dinner, when a local woman collared us and mentioned The Corner House and that the roasts were brilliant. You can't beat personal recommendations and she was right, our meals were super for the price. The 'regular' sized meals were enough for us, but you can order 'large' if you're really hungry. The mixed veg, part of the meal, was a delight - both the carrot/swede and celeriac. Great meals served by pleasant staff, what more do you want?

Came for Sunday lunch with my Dad. The selection of food was great and the prices really reasonable. We really enjoyed our roast dinners and highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding! Will definitely return.

wanted a nice fresh cooked breakfast for 2 after a overnight stay in camper van had filter coffees and where nice and not bitter and the milk was hot so did not cool the coffee down food we had 2 full English breakfasts asked if 1 could not have baked beans which was no problem did not have to wait long for the food to arrive when it did the one without the beans had extra hash browns on it which was a nice surprise the plates where hot again kept the food nice and hot. would come here again if in the area and want a nice fresh cooked breakfast

Spent a lovely afternoon with my daughter in Ledbury and lost track of time, most cafes had already closed so was the corner house cafe but the staff went above and beyond and stayed later to serve us. I also really enjoyed the humours and cynical chat with the guy in the cheque shirt that alone was worth going. Great staff, great service. Looking forward to going back and chatting again, you made my afternoon sorry I didn’t get your name.

My friend and I stopped here on a cycle trip for a late lunch. We choose the quiche and were blown away be the lightness of it. We found out that it was made by Sheila who served us so of course we then had to try her Victoria sponge which was equally light and fluffy. We told her she should go on Bake Off! Great food and friendly service!

Me and my partner popped here for coffee and cake. Ended up having some of the best tasting cake I’ve ever had! Even had to ask to take some home for later! I was very happy with the service we was given, very polite. Baring In mind it was quite at the time it was nice of the lady be hide the counter to talk to us. Staff are very polite and welcoming! I can’t wait to come again and try some more of their home made cakes

We called in today for a coffee and lunch. The coffee was weak & tasteless. The food was ok but if I had visited the toilet before we ordered and paid - we would have left. The floor in the toilet was absolutely filthy - it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks - if ever. Also the table was not wiped before use. The carpet downstairs in the cafe needed a good hoover. Generally poor hygiene.I just hope this did not extend to the kitchen!! .

I should start by saying I don’t really like complaining , but unfortunately after my friend also had a poor experience in this cafe I felt I needed to say something. The cafe it’s self is beautiful unfortunately the day we went even though it was completely empty downstairs we were told by an older woman who seemed to be running round in circles but not really doing anything there would be at least a 45 minute wait, we said that was ok and ordered drinks, the older woman continued to tell us three separate times even after serving us our drinks there would be a delay like we had forgot . The drinks were ok, unfortunately though ruined by the older woman shouting and barking orders at what can only be described as kids. I hope they at least they earned a decent amount for putting up with her and the attitude she gave them. We did receive our order in a timely manner which was a surprise even with the warnings it would be delayed, food was nice and the young man who served us was great, really enjoyed conversing with him and felt so sorry for him, he was such a nice guy, we were very sad when he put his orange coat on and left seconds after serving us, can’t really blame him though I’d want out of there as well. The food was really good unfortunately the staff let the experience down. I think to get people in let the older woman go and let the younger man run the place I’d certainly go back if this was the case.

We heard good things about this place so decided to have a visit. The staff were friendly although the older lady in there was talking quite rude to the younger staff which I thought was really unpleasant. My god, it’s expensive or you didn’t get much for your money. It is a clean little cafe- just not for us!

Our first time in Ledbury and we are so pleased that we came across this cafe. The staff were very welcoming and the food was plentiful, delicious and very reasonably priced. Nothing was too much trouble. We shall definitely eat here again.

Wow! I can not Express how good the food is here! I popped in, on my visit to Ledbury. The breakfast here is mouthwatering. The staff here are so welcoming and friendly. Definitely will be coming here again. 😄
