The best restaurants in Bromsgrove West Midlands

I've been buying my takeaways from Anarkali for 30 years. Its still as good as it ever was. This time, I took their recommendations, and they got it so right.

Lovely little spot in the centre of Worcester. Great selection of cakes, hot & cold drinks and home made sandwiches. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Would highly recommend the place.

I came here this evening to dine with two other friends. We ordered our drinks and at 08:10pm I went up to the bar to order our food, the person behind the bar told me the kitchen was now closed; even though other diners were having food bought to them and the table next to us had ordered a couple of minutes prior. At no point when purchasing our drinks did a staff member alert us that the kitchen was closing, we’ve ordered later than this at your pub in the past. What an utter waste of an evening, let people know in future as we would have dined elsewhere!

Staff member with ginger hair, on 7.3.25 10 15 am was very very rude and arrogant not a good look for the franchise won't be returning

Usually a great experience but I had a few hiccups on Easter Sunday: 1. I booked online and requested a table in the bar, yet, on arrival they said the booking was for the conservatory (which I'm not keen on as it feels canteen-like and not very homely). The man was fine though and did give us a table in the bar. 2. When ordering food I was told only the Easter menu was being served which was a 2 or 3 course menu. However, online, I'd been asked to select the Easter or the Sunday menu (which I was pleased about as I normally only eat a main course). So, we had to eat 2 courses. 3. When my husband asked what non-alcoholic beers they served, he was told "Go and have a look in the fridge. We've got loads". We expect bar staff to know what drinks they sell and, even if they can't name them all, be able to at least tell us the main ones, not to have to walk about 15 feet around the bar to look for myself. 4. One of our party had Carrot and coriander soup which was lovely but, he'd only had two mouthfuls when a waitress brought out 2 of the roast lamb shoulder main courses. I told her he wasn't finished the first course yet and she apologised and took them away. She did apologise again when we were ready for the main course. 5. For the main course, all 3 of us had roast lamb shoulder and, frankly, for two of us, the lamb was overcooked and dry. (It tasted as if it had been re-heated and not fresh). In the past, we've had lamb there and it has always been exceptionally well cooked. The mint sauce, served in cute little pots, was also very watery. 6. Desserts: - Sticky toffee pudding was extremely good with perfect sponge, and beautiful sauce which was not too sweet. Cinnamon Apple crumble with custard was fabulous with a lovely crunchy topping. It was so big though - easily big enough for 2 people. Thd decor in the bar is lovely and cosy, yet dark and modern. All in all, the food was okay but the lamb is usually to die for and hopefully it will be again next time.

Was served by a girl called Mia , great service lovely friendly and welcoming , lovely establishment nice and clean and asking staff will come back!

Incredible food! Can't wait to try this again! Delivery was fast, friendly, and food was hot. Jerk chicken was tender. I could use more spice, but that's not a complaint, I just like it blazing. I had never tried ackee and saltfish, its my new jam for sure. It's obvious a lot of pride goes into this food, everything from the bread to the rice was fantastic. Will be ordering again and again.

Used to be a great small shop where you could nip in for a sausage roll but now the queues are enormous took me 21 minutes on a relatively quiet Thursday, so God help you on a Saturday. Understaffed and had the cheek to ask me after waiting 21 minutes if I wanted to donate some money with my order to fund breakfast for poor children, with that level of service the kids would long starve to death before they benefited. Greggs isn't restaurant material, the food simply isn't good enough for that, people just like to sit down indoors.

What a great place. Food was excellent. All the staff were great but special mention to Lee ... she really looked after us very well.

Awesome Sunday luch covering all the UK staples plus their Gallic options. All 7 of us really enjoyed it.

Went in for a coffee on our way back home, ordered a Frappe and was asked if we wanted a small or a medium. Asked for medium and the girl behind the counter let out a massive sigh as if it was an issue. Would have ordered something for myself but it just put me off ordering. She seemed to be on her own so I can understand her not being very happy when you're left on your own serving customers, making food and doing coffees so it can be very frustrating when it's busy. Frappe she made was very much enjoyed however.

They serve the worst chips i have ever had!!! They have never been good but they have managed to reach a new low. The must cook a days chip sales in the morning and keep them warm all day. Disgusting !!!

We ordered a takeaway from this restaurant, when we opened it there was absolutely rancid smell it was so bad that we couldn't eat it we were made to feel physically sick. I called the restaurant and had to call a further 3 times as they did not have the courtesy to call back. I would never recommend this place, I can't even refer to it as a restaurant.
