Anarkali Indian Take Away in Bromsgrove

I've been buying my takeaways from Anarkali for 30 years. Its still as good as it ever was. This time, I took their recommendations, and they got it so right.

Tonight was the 5th time we have ordered from Anarkali... 4 meals each time. Yet again superb quality food delivered in 40 minutes. Staff always friendly .. delivery driver very professional. And all at an excellent price... a good £15 cheaper than local competitors.... highly recommended 😃👍

We have used this takeaway for 10 years wouldn't go anywhere else, tasty food and good prices, and it's delivered by friendly drivers, if you do have a problem they will sort it straight away not that there's many maybe one in 10 years !

Myself and majority of our friends have always used Anakali as our go to Indian takeaway. 99% of the time it’s great but recently it has arrived cold or missing something and they always correct it! They did offer our next meal free but have never taken them up on their offer because we have had so many nice meals from them. This time i rang to say our food was cold and was told to speak to the owner who told me i was wrong in so many ways! I mentioned we were told previously we would be entitled to a free meal that we had never claimed because we had been loyal customers, he automatically went on the attack and said what time and who did i speak to…this was months ago and didn’t think i needed to take note of the person on the end of the phone that was so genuine! The owner then went on to to tell me i had made 2 complaints about food being cold and what proof did i have… i didn’t need proof nor did i want my meal for free, his attitude was disgraceful! The owner then continued to say his online system sends it straight through to the kitchen so there was no way our food was cold (he’s not eating it i am)…it was cold! I then said well if you have an online system you can see myself and family have ordered from you regularly! I was then told he knows how to run his business and doesn’t need to be told…well if your charging money for cold food you do! It’s fair to say the owner is one of the rudest person i have ever spoken to in my life! Apparently he keeps a record of complaints…i think not! The owner is the rudest person i have ever spoken to, coming from a hospitality background he needs some education! Coming from a person who used to rave about how you served your pakoras in a bag instead of a foil box so they don’t sweat your curry and pakoras are now bland and soggy!

RIP OFF!!! always check the prices before paying. had a menu through the door last week, called to place an order for delivery. when I came off the phone I checked the price as it seemed a lot for what I ordered...upon checking the prices they'd over charged me by £11.75, when I called to query it the chap said I'll refund you £2, I said no you've overcharged me by £11.75 so I want to cancel my order and have a full refund.

Easily the best Indian food in bromsgrove. We have been eating here for years. The food is outstanding and the customer service is second to none. Only takeaway we will consider. Thank you. Andressy mews.

Ordered a takeaway from here and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Old school, authentic takeaway without the usual unnecessary frivolities on the menu. Balti was very nice, well spiced and no surprise random ingredients, i.e. mushrooms involved, phew! Dropped a star as there was a shortage of prawns in the balti but otherwise we were very satisfied.

we had chicken tikka starters,chicken balti,bhaji,s and keena nan......food was fresh,tasty,delicious,service was quick for a take away,staff were pleasant and polite !!! we shall definetly return .😁😁💐

Hands down still the best in Bromsgrove. Have been using for over twenty years now and would highly recommend.

I ordered two curry’s to be delivered. Excellent price, amazing food and delivered within 35 minutes. Highly recommend.

I used to use this takeaway many years ago and it has changed hands since then, probably more than once. My usual curry restaurant has shut, as have many others, even for takeaways so I decided to give this place a try. The food was good and the sauce just right for my tastes. Portions were generous too. They don't do aloo ghobi as a side dish or main which I thought a bit strange. The only reason I don't give it the extra star is because the chicken tikka was disappointing. However I would return. Also parking on this road is as difficult as ever despite almost all the shops being shut!

Ordered from here last night , told 30 minutes , 90 minutes later after chasing once already guy put the phone down on me !! Very rude , food was cold also when it arrived as well !! Will not use ever again

grat indian takeaway, great food , call in or order by phone. freindy staff and fast service. i use this place a lot but don't take my word for it try it yourself.

We All ordered chicken pathias egg fried rice! Chicken pathia was the best pathia I’ve ever had! Egg fried was spot on! And the chips are next level, nice and chunky! I would recommend chicken pathia from the Indian takeaway! (Sweet and sour dish)

Head and shoulders above other Indian takeaways in the area. The food was tasty, hot, and delivered very quickly.

Ordered a takeaway on Saturday night, quick delivery, very good food and big portion size, would recommend.

Dishonest and did not deliver , have used anakarli on and off for 30 years , something has changed and...

Have used this takeaway over many years tonight is the worst ever. The older gentlemen or owner must have retired again. Missed the rice from our order and when phoned to question was answered with 'what do you want me to do about it' not an apology in sight time to change

Nos detuvimos en este llevar muy al azar y la comida era deliciosa!Tuve el mejor pollo Byriani y nos dieron algo más de curry que estaba por error divino!El servicio era bueno, chico de la salida fue muy amable.Sin duda recomendaría este lugar!

Sólo he tomado la comida para dos personas. Buena comida y servicio de entrega bastante apetecible. Creo platos individuales pueden ser bastante caro, y prefiero comer en un restaurante de pagar para un llevar. Porciones pueden ser irrisorios, y por desgracia los platos tienen una tendencia a probar el mismo. Este es siendo quisquilloso. Como ya he dicho, la comida es bastante aceptable y sin duda orden aquí, en la medida en que el valor de la comida.

Mezcla kebab entrante estaba bien, pero generosa porción, hubiera beneficiado de unas cebollas fritas,. Bolsa de ensalada era un poco pequeña.

My friend ordered by phone and I collected. In the few minutes I was there, the phone kept ringing, with more orders being placed, so a very popular take away. The food was still hot when I arrived home. 3 chicken and 1 lamb and all eaten and enjoyed. My only criticism would be there was evidently a lot of oil or ghee used which was leaking into the box they gave me to bring the take away home.

We have used the Anarkali takeaway for well over 25 years now and have consistent well cooked meals from there. Friendly customer service and free delivery over £10.

Me encantan sus curries. Entonces, me dijeron que era en realidad por ellos que ya no utilizamos cordero en el curry, fue carnero.

Brilliant food but rude staff on the phone if they could learn some manners it would be a great place

I have frequented this takeaway since the 80's and frequently returned.Over the past year however the staff have become brusque and unfriendly and the food doesn't have the same quality.I've moved on, which is a pity.

Really prompt delivery service and gentlemen was very polite. Poppadoms were very nice as was onion salad and mint sauce. Boiled rice was fluffy and a generous portion. I had the lamb dansak which was gorgeous and my lips are still tingling due to all the spices.My other half went for the chicken vindaloo and he assures me it didn't disappoint. Will definitely be going to anarkali again soon

Never disappoints, extremely tasty food, excellent value for money and excellent delivery service when then state how long for your delivery to be delivered they stick to many times its come before stated time. This is a must please try it.

I love this place. Its been in town for as long as I can remember and always delivers "decent and consistant" food.

use this place regular for takeaway, they do deliver, very friendly, superb food always piping hot when delivered, staff all well mannered and polite and so are the delivery drivers
