Had a wonderful meal. The food was delicious and I went for something I wouldn’t usually have (sea bass) and it was lovely. The service was great as always 😊

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. I was part of a group of 13 and the service was excellent. It was a Tuesday and we where able to take advantage of the special of starter, main and a coffe for £16. But they compensate themselves by charging over £7 for two bottles of 0% beer Ouch !

We had my fiancé birthday meal there last night, and it was absolutely brilliant service and really enjoyed the meal.. Love to come back again, guy called Rahul was very professional and helpful to sort out everything so professionally.. Thanks guys for good night.. Definitely come again..

Love the menu, love the staff, love the venue (recently refurbished). The king prawns are massive and the sauces tasty. Regular visitor, even though we are several miles away, Attend with family, friends and business guests.

First time attending with a family of 5. Polite welcome and very nice atmosphere. First place I’ve been to in a while and wasn’t made to feel rushed which was really nice. Staff was informative of what deals was on which worked well for us all. Great food definitely recommend. I will return.

I'd recently moved close to the Vicinity of Monsoon so thought i'd try out the local restaurant after a recommendation, and was not disappointed. I went with my friend and the service was superb throughout - the staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful The food was lovely and i'll certainly be going again!

I can't say much about the food as I usually don't eat there, but monsoon is my usual hangout place for going out for drinks. The atmosphere is always phenomenal, the drinks are also amazing (espresso martini's my fave lol) and the staff are always so nice to everyone, they're fun and friendly and they always take care of the people there. don't think there's another place to drink i trust more than monsoon.

By far the best Indian restaurant and take away, not even in the local area, but for miles around. Tried many others which are ok and sometimes cheaper but the freshness and quality here far outweigh the slightly greater expense.The service is second to none with some of the longer serving staff such as Sonny, Roman and the owner Mo and rest of his team are excellent. I eat here between 4 & 8 times a month and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Keep up the good work guys!

We stopped here whilst on a few days away during the half term holiday and they were so accommodating, fitting us in for a meal that my wife, daughter and I all thoroughly enjoyed and was great value. The flavours were delicious, the ambience was very nice and the staff were excellent.

This was a unplanned random visit and we were lucky enough to accommodate a table on Tuesday evening where normally a special deal is on this night,therefore we didn’t mind waiting a while to be served,very nice ambience and a relaxing atmosphere,food was top notch(mutton curries👍🏽 service was very pleasant 5⭐️

One of the best places in the region, service and food is out of the world. They were very kind to my family.

We're very lucky to have this as our local curry house. Never had a bad meal. Lots of choice on the menu. They don't over spice the food and everything is very tasty. The restaurant is always busy but their friendly staff will squeeze you in if they can.

I love their Mutton Rajestani curry. Almost as good as my mums lamb. Haha! Two of us went last Thursday greeted by wonderful host. They’ve taken care of us through our stay and enjoyed every minute of it. Definitely going back!!

First visit with family. Order was taken and delicious food arrived, for two courses. Sadly we waited quite a time and had to ask for dessert menu but, no one came back to take our order.

I have dined previously inside Monsoon and it was quite nice, albeit a little expensive for the size of the meal.. We had takeaway last night; and the food was cold and the madras was all watery gravy with six pieces of small chicken. The chicken was so dry, cold and bland.. Suffice to say I won’t be eating here again..

Customer service from some of the staff is very poor.

Entrance more like a bar for local clientele .starters arrived promptly and were OK. Then over 1 hour wait for mains as many tables who arrived later had been served.Half of meals that were served were luke warm and had to be reheated at least twice ruining whole experience . Need to decide if running a bar or restaurant , plenty of desi pubs to choose from if the latter .

Great restaurant. Really tastefully decorated and staff are friendly and efficient. Really good deal on Mondays and Tuesdays. Food is nice and its really worth a visit. Would definitely recommend.

Really local place for us as always good night went with daughter and hubby all left happy .Had the Rajastanni mutton dish ,fab melted in the mouth defo worth a go .

New to this area and first time ordering from here, I simply searched "best curry house in my area" and Monsoon came on first on the search and yes can confirm it was the best curry I ever had never had quite like it before, had plain korma as can't handle spice very well, it was beautiful, delicious. Now the naan bread is something else too, tasted buttery and good taste. Had Bombay potatoes before always been spicey, however these bombay potatoes wasn't spicey at all which didn't matter as tasted real good, only downside was the chips as they wasn't crispy and golden like how golden bird used to do them from castle bromwhich but regardless best curry ever, you got new customer and will be ordering from monsoon again. Thanks for lovely meal.

This is my family’s go to Indian restaurant. The prices are brilliant value and the food is always roasting and flavoursome. I adore the coffee they give you at the end! Staff are attentive as always, all in all, I’ve never had a bad experience here it is has always been above average. I recommend monsoon to all my friends and family when I can!

I recently returned to this restaurant after many years. If anything, the food is even better than I remember. The Masala fish starter was so good. Then I had Rajistani mutton curry, which was very rich and tasty. I had a keema naan with the curry. Even that naan was at the top end for taste. It seems a bit mad to rave about a simple naan, but it really was that good.

Found by chance our local takeaway was closed did know this was up the road really nice restaurant we had a takeaway free bottle of cobra for orders over £20 had a good chat with the staff it is wheel chair friendly so we are looking forward to our first visit 😀

Went to monsoon last night 12/aug/23 Positives food is good but my lamb shank was very tough so would not recommend, stay to the curries service is usually good, but last night a large party arrived around 14 I think and my god they were awful shouting and screeching at the top of their voices with no regard for the other diners in there . They we’re getting up and down moving around the table is was disgusting the way they were acting, I complained to the waiter you said they were a bit drunk , that’s not my problem I’m here having a meal and paying for it and have to put up with all that , everyone was complaining they had no manners at all !!! I myself would have refused to serve them if they didn’t shut up but they were left to carry on by the management. We ate our meal and promptly left with a headache and an unpleasant hour eating our food which we didn’t enjoy due to the noise , and we had to pay for it aswell !!! the management must understand this behaviour was not acceptable, don’t think I will ever go there again due to them letting them carry on just because they were a large party , thinking of the money

The Rajasthani Mutton curry was outstanding

I have been to monsoon a fair few times and I can’t say anything is wrong with it. We didn’t book and went on a Tuesday evening I thought it wouldn’t be too busy but it was rammed ! We were seated at the bar to await a table and only waited about 15 minutes or so. Waiters are all very friendly and accommodating. Food was lovely, garlic breads I thought were on the small size but tasted really nice and same goes for our food. Only think I would suggest is that I don’t drink alcohol and wanted a non alcoholic mock tail which they told me they couldn’t do. That all the cocktails are pre mixed so couldn’t just make a mock tail without adding the alcohol which was disappointing as my husband was on the JD and I had to stick to a coke ! Decor as normal is lovely and the atmosphere was great! We will return as we have done many times. Parking out front was limited due to it being busy but we managed to park.

Always great food and service. We normally arrive between 6 and 6:30pm. As it can get very busy later in the evening

An amazing menu with some dishes I have not experienced before. Helpful, smartly dressed and friendly staff. The place was busy for a Tuesday evening and I could see why! Some soft furnishings around the rooms would help to keep the ambient noise down which would make it a little more intimate and cozy but this was only a minor issue.

Hi, had a really nice evening last night at this restaurant, my Brother and Sister in law took me there for a Birthday treat. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. Had a lovely dinner with great service. I did walk away with one of the serviettes and embarrassed my poor brother who had to return it for me. friday night takeout from Monsoon is classed as a treat for us which we treasure. Food was collected Friday evening after ordering it 20 mins before, bar area was busy with people enjoying the evening. When the food was laid out on the table it was warm and smelled stunning ( not as nice as sitting in the resturant)lol

Not good at these online reviews but I honestly have to say I wouldn’t go anywhere else for Curry! Food is constantly on top and the staff are fantastic! The atmosphere is always sky high and the overall experience can’t be beaten!

My partner and I decided on a meal out & really fancied something spicy so we booked in here. We were not disappointed, fabulous food & good evening out. Tried the IPA beer. definitely good, only downside was don't share a crispy king prawn starter with the other half...... It's just too good to share !!

Found this place a few months ago through a friend’s recommendation and we’re blown away every single time. Lovely staff too, food comes piping hot. The 2 courses with a coffee deal for around £14 is amazing.

Booked for my wife’s birthday 22 guests pre ordered meals arrived on time they were not ready for my party waiting outside is not a good thing we had to sit at two different tables which when you consider we booked 4 weeks in advance is poor food came out on time and was very good overall they were a little disorganised but we will go back

Four of us ate here on a busy pre Christmas evening. Four mains/sides and five non alcoholic drinks came to over £100, quite expensive as the portions we felt were a little on the small side compared to other local places we know. Service was...

Lentils and Saag were only real main vegetable options. No usuals that you expect in an Indian like Okra, Aubergines etc. Still the daal and spinach were good. The assorted starter was good, but should be served with samosa / pakora chatni, but when I asked for it, it was provided 👍

Had a takeaway biriyani and it was smashing. A huge portion, larger than expected with lots of meat in the rice. The place was busy so they're obviously doing well and deserve it too.

Amazing customer service especially from Roman aka Mr Uber. Always ready to make you laugh, offer a fine coffee beverage or just a general chit-chat. Food is always of high quality and it is also used as the local bar as well as restaurant.

Always great food. This time the service sadly let me down - an initial delay after the agreed collection time, and then another very long wait sitting for a takeout to be ready. The place is popular and gets very busy at weekends and days when they have an offer on.
