Stopped for a nice lunch, great service and very dog friendly

Popped in with a friend and pleasantly surprised. Nice welcome and chat at the bar. Lovely and warm with fire. Saw the cobs at the end of the bar but had already eaten. Despite being 9pm on a Tuesday evening it was quite busy. This was a lovely little pub which I’d love to have as my local.

Excellent food and service, we were served by Paige and nothing was too much trouble. We celebrated my husbands birthday and will return.

Well I had the Ultimate Spicy burger and it had all the things I like! Including a spicy maple sauce. My nephew enjoyed his mac'n'cheese with pulled bbq pork. The service was really good considering I only saw three staff serving. They were great when changing my dads steak. Well done Stacey, Alisha and Mia. I think Marstons have a winning trio.

We come here for the 10/10 food and to see the legend Tony! What a lovely gentleman who can’t do enough for you. He deserves all the credit he gets in the reviews and more. Always comes over for a chat and makes you feel so welcome. Thanks again Tony! :)

Lovely pub with a warm atmosphere and a great host. The food was excellent as was the beer. We had the lamb pie and a pizza and salad. Also the best creme caramel ever. Can't fault the place or the food or the lovely owner. 10/10

We visited the Bell & Cross to celebrate 5 birthdays out of a party of 7 and we had a Sunday lunch. This was our first visit and it didn't disappoint. Freshly cooked vegetables, generous portions, and wonderful service made it a day to remember. Shall certainly recommend to others and return again in the future.

Over priced replace with a Greggs

Usually happy from here but a little disappointed today. Poppadom wasn’t Cooked through in the middle, the tandoori honey wings weren’t as advertised, and the chicken in my curry was in small strips rather than the usual chunky bits. Going down hill

I have had quite a few deliveries from Jade Garden and I have to say the food is excellent they are quick and efficient. Will not be going anywhere else for Chinese.

Incredible food! Can't wait to try this again! Delivery was fast, friendly, and food was hot. Jerk chicken was tender. I could use more spice, but that's not a complaint, I just like it blazing. I had never tried ackee and saltfish, its my new jam for sure. It's obvious a lot of pride goes into this food, everything from the bread to the rice was fantastic. Will be ordering again and again.
