Breakfasts here are really good. We had lunch very tasty indeed. The beer is superb changing weekly. The staff are really helpful.

The food is always fairly good but the choice of real / indie ales is pathetic. Last visit there was only one of the three ale pumps on, and when all three are on the ales are all very similar. Shame they don’t have a proper modern pale ale (the mass produced Hobgoblin IPA doesn’t count…)

Menu ranges from Sandwiches through Burgers and Pizza to Lasagne and Steak. Home style cooking that is good value. Coffee, tea and home made cakes also available. Good size portions

Siempre prefiero el jardín de jade cuando me apetece un auténtico y sabroso chino. Proceso de recogida rápido y personal amable, comida deliciosa. Siempre mi 1 calle elección

After pre booking a table, so pub would've been well aware of their capacity, went there from the theatre hoping to get my daughter some dinner in between her dance shows, was told on arrival food waiting time would be 30 mins, that was OK, was shown to our table and bluntly told 'you order at the bar' aren't pub chains sposed to at least take a drinks order for you? Shocking hospitality. waited in the queue to get up the bar on very slow service only to overhear wait times gone up to 45 min, reached the bar and miraculously it had gone to an hour wait, just to order some hotdogs? I had to completely leave it as my daughter had to be back to the theatre the same time the food would've finally came. Staff were obnoxious about it and gave the poor excuse of 'everyone's coming in at the same time' the pub wasn't even half full! If the pub couldn't deal with a max of about 25 people and clearly is beyond their capabilities then they shouldnt be taking bookings and be a but more forth coming on arrival of the wait, not randomly tell everyone different times. I'll never go here again, not surprised it's closing down. Very poor service.

Apparently no walk ins for food on a Wednesday night. No reason whatsoever & with a very quiet restaurant even you now booked, a huge wait. Plus zero customer service to turn things round, just utter rudeness. The place continues to just collapse.
