Jolli Indian in Bromsgrove

Usually happy from here but a little disappointed today. Poppadom wasn’t Cooked through in the middle, the tandoori honey wings weren’t as advertised, and the chicken in my curry was in small strips rather than the usual chunky bits. Going down hill

Good delivery, food hot. Back to their great standard of food and service.

Ordered a Mushroomwalla curry. Tasted of nothing but tomato and onion and was watery, where as last time it was much thicker. The okra bhaji wasn't a bhaji, just mushy okra in the same sauce as the Mushroomwalla. Very disappointed usually very good. Surprised the standards are slipping. Even the foxes won't touch it.

Quality of food and portion size gone down. The half portion of chicken tikka masala and chips was served in a smaller container with barely half an inch (12.7mm) of food in it. Very disappointing! The delivery service, however, was excellent. The young woman always on time, pleasant and professional.

usually when I order from here it's perfect today not so much curry was way to spicy to normal. Still recommended this place though

Food was tastless and watery. Rice was cold and chicken tikka was way to hot then its meant to be. Only good thing is the delivery driver very polite and helpfull

Bombay box is a joke naan bread at the bottom of curry so I had soggy bread and the box is tiny my 6 year old would still be hungry

Best delivery driver, polite, professional, cheerful and always on time; so that food is still hot and tasty when it arrives.

First time ordering from here & It will definitely be my last. I ordered two meal vegetable dansak & Quorn Bhuna right No1 food was cold No2 fried rice was very greasy No3 dansak was just frozen cheap veg very bland No4 Quorn bhuna I was expecting Quorn chicken pieces hmm not sure what it was but it definitely wasn’t Quorn? It actually resembled something like a cheap meat free meat ball substitute it was absolutely tasteless cr@p. I’m not sure what they think about there customers but if that’s what you think they will eat & be happy I can’t see your business lasting very long. I wanted to come in & speak to someone about the food. I actually had it with me as I couldn’t eat it. But I couldn’t even find the business on new road rubery. Just a quick question for the chef if someone ordered a chicken curry & you realised you had no chicken would you just automatically send a mutton curry or would you ring them to find out if they would like mutton instead ? Reason being just because you had no Quorn didn’t mean I would just accept the next thing you had without asking me first I would have been happy if you had just sent a veg bhuna. It comes to something when the best part of your meal was the chapati ? It was the only thing I could stomach. So yes very disappointed.

Poor food quality all round. Burnt naan bread, stale popadoms, watery madras curry with undercooked rice and the Quorn meat alternative wasn’t cooked either. Very disappointing, complaint sent it with photo evidence.

Watery cold and bland curries. Only good thing was the kids liked there nuggets

my curry was fine, but the tikka masala was both lamb and chicken and the sauce was to thick and not up to your normal standards

Delivered on time. Hopefully back to normal. Food portions seemed a little smaller this time but was hot and tasty. Really nice takeaway.

Have always given a good review previously. However, the last 2 deliveries have been late and food almost cold. Something has changed. Was very disappointed and hope they regain their great reviews as the food when delivered hot is really good.

As this is an honest review, the food was a little late but arrived safely and intact. A few minutes does not matter. As usual the driver was friendly, cheerful and always cheers one up. The food was good and never fails to disappoint.

My chicken starter was dry. My husband’d chicken jalfrezi had more onions than chicken. The chicken in the Jalfrezi was very thin and dry. My chicken tikka masala had big chunks of dry chicken in it. The naan bread was nice.

Was tasty. However, the tikka masala container was not closed and had lost a lot of its content in the brown bag. Such a shame, first time it has happened.

Starter was cold, driver took a long time to deliver when it's just up the road. Food ok not great but please don't order from here if your hungry you will have to wait along time!!!!

Food wasn’t very tasty. The Raita was a small portion and had chick peas in it, I didn’t find it very nice. The Aloo Gobi went in the bin as I didn’t find it very nice.

Missing items, incorrect order! Ordered a shawama got a chicken tikka instead. Ordered two meal deals only delivered the wraps, no fries or drinks. When I informed the restaurant said they would be sending them out. Half an hr later still no missing items

They didn’t fill the curry tub as much as usual which is a shame but it still tasted lovely and fresh all of it did.

Starter was fine but the lamb balti was far too spicy. Ive never had a balti that hot. Popadoms greasy

Ordered a lamb biriyani tonight and really disappointed, very spice hot and couldn't eat it very!very little sauce and few lamb bones in the meal

The mixed naan was under cooked, (see corners) it was cooked in middle suggesting cooked on high heat in a hurry. The garlic naam was too sweet, the bombay aloo was cold. The wrap and raita was nice.

The food was lovely and full of flavour! However, there was barely any meat in the curries - a lamb curry had 5 pieces of meat and they were small, and a chicken a little more. It was predominantly sauce within both of them.

Been a while since I've ordered a meal service 1st class.

I’d love you give the place full starts for quality but I can’t, an on going issue is the naan breads keep arriving extremely charred, of course I understand that there is to be some char on them but these are black, another thing is I keep getting a grit like substance in my mouth from the naan bread which I presume is clay from the clay over , this isn’t a great thing to experience, other than that it’s ok but please fix your naan breads.

Ordered a set meal for 2 it doesnt state that you have to have certain food as does not state this on the menu it came the tikka starter was so dry and the onion bargi well i nearly broke my teeth on them and then the chicken saag balti i had could not eat the spinach as it was all in with onion that was not cooked it was raw nothing jolli about this balti 2000 from now on

this was our 2nd time ordering from jolli indian and once again everything was delicious we cant wait for our 3rd visit thank you very much we can also tried indian battered chips for the 1st time and they were really nice

this was my first time ordering from the jolli indian and i can say i will return as the food was delicious the mix platter for 2 is excellent and the honey mustard kebab roll was my favourite thank you very much jolli indian

Item missing told me they sont do no more and they havent uodates menu plus delivery driver sat outside in car fir ten minutes didnt bother ringing or knocking my doir so my food was cold not happy

Was sent a plan nann instead of a peshwari naan and a chicken kebab starter instead of a mixed kebab, complained to just eat the day after and they wanted photos, how can you photograph a nann bread to distinguish if it’s the right one, food was great as aways but just eat are a joke, will order direct next time

Normally its good but tonight it was bland tastless you couldn't tell the difference between the different meals. The egg fried rice was the worst iv ever had it was hard boiled not fried and had some egg thrown in. And the korma had water like effect and look . We all only managed to eat barely half the meals and one member of the family gave up after 2 mouth fulls. The chips were tolerable but mostly hard over cooked and the nann breads were the only thing which were really ok however the paswarni was again very bland. So disappointed as this was our treat and I chose this restaurant as we have had good meals from them before. Doubt we will ever use again

We ordered two Bombay boxes and after getting them home and opening found that the order had been completely mixed up. The wrong sides with each sauce/meat. The food itself was flavourful and high quality however this is the third time we have ordered Bombay boxes that have been dishes up incorrectly.

Curries were lukewarm had to Microwave! And chips were soggy and old. Rest of the food was OK

Food was horrible, worst suppose to be authentic food going ordered a vegetable curry, made up of frozen mixed veg and two small potatoes cut into quarters tasted like a curry sauce from supermarket was poured over heated and sent out rice was unwashed and bland no flavour to it at all onions were burnt on fried rice chapati tasted like shop brought and so called naan was horrible will never order from here again prefer to stick to soho tavern for authentic Indian food

Pretty sure the quorn was chicken. The man on the phone seemed annoyed at me calling to see where it was despite the app saying it had arrived half an hour earlier. Will not be ordering from here again

Ordered at 8pm didn’t receive food till 10pm kept phoning and all they kept saying was food is on the way totally not happy when we did get it, it was cold wouldn’t order from here again not happy at all
