The best restaurants in Harborne Birmingham West Midlands

It was one of the tastiest dishes we had in a while. Both Yasir and Arusha were excellent at providing us with advice and they also gave my husband a wonderful treat for his birthday with the yummy brownie dessert. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

I was served by a rude female bartender with a bad attitude who made us our martinis in dog bowls. As customers we pay a premium to have our drinks served as they should be and not in whatever glassware you please. Also, the way you speak to customers is not acceptable, and I'd highly advise anyone to stay away from here and take their time and money elsewhere.

We literally Turner up! Ordered food and drinks which arrived timely, food was lovely to enjoy - you need to be careful with retardant which brands themselves Turkish - This was perfect. A small family run business, which you can feel the attention to guests. Could not fault them! Recommended!

We had a special event here for my partners menu. Hengata was absolutely incredible! They prepared a totally new tasting menu for the occasion which was much better value for money than anywhere else in Harborne. The food was perfect and the chefs and the waiting team couldn’t have looked after us better. Thank you to the Hengata team!

A su llegada, el personal de la puerta denegó la entrada a un miembro de nuestro partido porque era considerado demasiado joven a pesar de tener 25 años , aunque había identificado . Entré y un miembro del personal que conocía fue a buscar al gerente le expliqué la situación y él fue a la puerta y dijo que su identificación ( pasaporte por teléfono no era aceptable ) y el personal de la puerta eran correctos . Así que a menos que uno tenga un pasaporte o permiso de conducir no se puede entrar en estas instalaciones. Nunca vi a nadie más siendo revisado de esta manera.

Got to say the best chicken burger I've had, the chips were excellent so was the mac and cheese! Sky sports, pool table and good food, I will be back without a doubt and highly recommended x100

Me and my sister went in for a nice evening out however had an horrendous experience. I was first let in by the very nice bouncers however once at the bar I was then again asked for my id. After looking at it for one second I was told I could not be served as ‘it was not a British id’. They then told me that it was their policy to not let in anyone not British as although my parents ARE English I am from Belgium. This had never been an issue since moving to the uk. The server then walked off and ignored us. Not only do I think I was not served because I was not born in this country but also due to the fact that I am visibly queer. Would never recommend giving any money to such a backwards and old fashioned establishment.
