The best restaurants in Harborne Birmingham West Midlands

It was one of the tastiest dishes we had in a while. Both Yasir and Arusha were excellent at providing us with advice and they also gave my husband a wonderful treat for his birthday with the yummy brownie dessert. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

Gave me food poisoning do not recommend at all

We literally Turner up! Ordered food and drinks which arrived timely, food was lovely to enjoy - you need to be careful with retardant which brands themselves Turkish - This was perfect. A small family run business, which you can feel the attention to guests. Could not fault them! Recommended!

Excelente servicio amable. Ambiente agradable y limpio. El desayuno era de 5 estrellas y nos llenó. Recomiendo este lugar totalmente. El personal era muy atento y nos ayudó con cualquier consulta que tuvimos. La comida era de primera clase.

We had a special event here for my partners menu. Hengata was absolutely incredible! They prepared a totally new tasting menu for the occasion which was much better value for money than anywhere else in Harborne. The food was perfect and the chefs and the waiting team couldn’t have looked after us better. Thank you to the Hengata team!

Food was delicious arrived earlier than expected. Naz the delivery guy had exceptional customer service and is all round well mannered!

If you are afte a traditional pub in the heart of Harborne then this is the place. There are no 'heirs or graces' here and you may well appreciate it. This is an old school honest public house. It has the modern amenities but you will simply come here for a pint and feel the community spirit. The value for money here is crazy so if you are on a budget you need look no further. Update 27th April 2025: Not a good visit at all today. Had a Guinness. Everyone else was served first when it was clear mt turn was overlooked. Asked if the match volume coul dbe turned on but told no , yet when others asked it was put on immiditaly. And then to top it all off, when I got halfway down the Guinness I discovered the glass had a huge filthy mark on the inside. Hadn't been cleaned when filled. Made me feel physically sick and I left it and the pub and probably wont ever return. Downgraded accordingly. I feel queezy even now thinking about it. Basic hygiene people!!!

I do like this coffe house. The staff do try to make you feel important and the driks are made well. The shop plan is large and varied so you can indulge in what takes yor fancy on any given day from armchair luxury to a quick window seat or a nice spacious table. The place is big so it can get a little untidy but the staff try to keep on top of things. Toilet is tiny and needs expanding. Like climbing into a cabinet. The food is of course pricey and not appealing for the cost, though delicious. The drinks are fairer and the choice is amazing.
