So me and my family come in and some one decided to kick us out she has short shaved hair and was very rude taking photos of us I tried to get image as I don’t know her name she was a rude member of staff and I don’t appreciate it what so ever … my sister knocked over a board and said she was too drunk even tho she was not and I’m sorry but if I can write this now it will go to show you that I am not drunk (my sister went to reach out to pay bill and knocked over the board this is the most pathetic thing in the world and I would love some one to call me back regarding this case many thanks ell)

Llegamos el miércoles por la tarde después de conocer a un amigo de compras. Teníamos 2 vasos de Merlot. Una joven encantadora con el pelo castaño corto vestido todo de negro nos estaba sirviendo. Ella dijo que como estábamos teniendo 2 vasos medianos sería más barato para nosotros conseguir la botella, pero solo nos quedamos por 1 . Pasó una hora y todavía estábamos allí y decidimos tener otro! Deberíamos haber comprado la botella después de todo. Cuando limpió nuestra mesa nos preguntó si queríamos otra pero íbamos ya que teníamos un autobús para coger y té para preparar. Volveremos pronto gracias por su gran hospitalidad

Estalló en este lugar de camino a casa del trabajo, una señora con tatuajes gafas de pelo corto me sirvió a varias pintas encantadoras de Guinness que me dieron una cálida bienvenida después de que terminé quedándome por más tiempo de lo previsto. Muy educado y bien educado también se despidió de mí y de varios otros asiduos creo que no pueden culpar al servicio

Don't accept UK government, security industry approved and Home Office accepted IDs such as Police, Army and Citizen ID for those of us don't like the idea of driving. Security even told me they'd accept them any other place but here.

First time here, met up with a work colleague for a quick drink..I felt welcome as soon as I walked in, it's a traditional pub, no food but plenty of snacks. Prices very reasonable and the lady serving was very pleasant and helpful.

A very busy and lovely pub. We were served by Faye during our visit several times. Very friendly and the atmosphere was great with a dj playing too. The outside tv was great when we went out the back will definitely be visiting again

Unfortunately a very poor experience, despite visiting over many years. This isn't the first time staff have attempted to over charge me, only until you correct them, they pretend it's a "mistake". It's not a coincidence, as a few of the staff have tried this game now. Mainly the male staff. This is something I take very seriously, you can only imagine how many unsuspecting customers they have done this to. As I said, this hasn't been the first time. I would avoid going to the Harborne stores as these very underhanded tactics are now common unfortunately, and the management is not interested, or probably part of the plan! Allegedly they need sniffer dogs and routine surprise drug enforcement checks as the staff and the managers select customer friends are allowed upstairs to take whatever substances out of sight as everybody already knows, or where they keep the bins outside. The whole place is a dive! Avoid for your own safety!!

What amazing pub definitely would come here again…..

i always go out in harborne and leave with having a goodtime, this time i never, we had never been out in the stores before so we decided to pop in for a few drinks. When we arrived we got our drinks and went into the back bit, everything was going okay until we was aproched by a member of staff asking us to share there post and leave us a good review, we didnt see any issue in this and would of until 2 women who worked ther apart of managment came out being loud and asking this lad that approched us what is he doing at our table. The man explained what he has said and we also said the same she looked at me and my friends in discust. She stunk of alcohol and was acting in a very drunken mannor, drinking with all residents from the pub. i would highly not recomend this pub as there is NO people skills or managment acting professional. You are ment to feel safe when you go out, not feel intimdatedby the Manager and staff.

I would like to say I had an awful experience at the Harbone stores I came there with my family and a friend who has recently had a catheter bag fitted so needed personal assistance in cubicle then all of a sudden the door was being booted down by a member of staff who was paraletic drunk who couldn’t barley string one word together causing my friend bag coming disconnected and that was her first night out with her bag on after spending a long time recovering through her illness do not go to this place if the smell don’t traumatise your the staff certainly will !!!!!!

I came in to the stores yesterday with my friend and 2 children girl 16 hightly austist,adhd ,dyspraxia and boy18 asd ,my daughter has sensory issues and the music was very loud inside so I told her to go through to the family friends garden area where my son followed and sat and found a table while I ordered our first drink,the next thing I know (2 minuets later) ,my children are standing by the front door with my daughter in tears as the manager screamed at her to leave without asking any questions etc other than saying she looked drunk (she walked in carrying a milkshake) she was judged by appearance ,she carrys a id med card too and lukily the managed decided my son has to leave too they did what was asked with my daughter trying to tell her mommy is inside,.my daughter usually travels in a disable bus and has a carer but was thrown out a back entrance alone in to a vulnerable situation cabt read and scared of roads etc .that could have been awfull and against safeguarding and autism law act lucky my son knew to go find the front entrance ,another member of staff then came barging in from the back entrance towards the front door and started screaming at my daughter again to get out ,by this stage my daughter was inconsolable I was upset and shaken and left our drinks untouched on the bar and left calling a taxi to rush my daughter home ,I was waiting 15 minims outside and not once did the manager come in from the bear garden to adress this situation, staff and management need to be trained on how to deal with situations like this and how to talk to people in a non aggressive manor ,my daughter will not leave the house and is deeply effected by this situation, I have no intention of returning but I want to raise awareness on this subject so no-one else goes though this ,I will be taking this further, iv message the manager about this in a civil manner and not had any response to rectify this and now safeguarding ,,autism act team and brewery department will be involved

What an awful experience, we were a group of 5 ladies. All white except for one and she wa subject to the most hateful attention. The manager kept pushing past her and the DJ played brown girl in the ring. I would never recommend this pub to anyone

An oasis of normality in the middle of Harborne. It doesn’t try to be anything other than a pub that serves drinks at decent prices. Staff are great and the atmosphere is really friendly.

Really good drinkers pub. Fairly priced . Busy with a really gold atmosphere.

If you are afte a traditional pub in the heart of Harborne then this is the place. There are no 'heirs or graces' here and you may well appreciate it. This is an old school honest public house. It has the modern amenities but you will simply come here for a pint and feel the community spirit. The value for money here is crazy so if you are on a budget you need look no further.

Love coming to stores, Michael B always has a chat and is one of the reasons we enjoy coming here. They have a DJ every Friday & Saturday as well which is always good fun!

Went to the stores with husband as it was his birthday. Happened to have a free birthday drink voucher🍷 Cheers Come here most times on the Harborne run. Lovely staff, previously had food but not today.unsure if still available. Drinks reasonable priced. Atmosphere great. Working people having a few relaxing drinks. Faye and the team pulled it out the bag once again ! Went for a chilled night on a Sunday and it was such a pleasant night, great atmosphere and well priced drinks. I keep returning to this pub on different nights and have yet to be disappointed!

We was served by demi-leigh, what a lively young lady she couldn't be more attentive to our large groups needs. Fabulous young bar maid.....she made our night!!!

Excellent pub! We came in on Saturday as a fun rowdy group of girls on a bar crawl* the staff were mint & so we’re they regulars! Great atmosphere & lovely vibe! We even chose to miss off pub #5 of our list & stay extra time here! Thanks Faye & Demi for putting up with us! 🥳

This place hasn't changed since the 80s, to be honest it's a refreshing change from the many pretentious places in Harborne!

Popped in for a small drink on a Tuesday evening and was astonished by just how cheap the drinks were. The bartender Mike with the pony tail was extremely welcoming and easy to talk to. Overall great customer service

I have enjoyed my numerous visits to this drinking establishment. The service is excellent, Michael and Cheryl behind the bar have been always been great. Good pub to watch the football, and Sunday karaoke is always fun :)

Went in for paddy’s day.. had an amazing time. Highly recommend. Only pub with all the sports. Dj every weekend. And live entertainment once a month. They’ve just added a Monday Club as well as there Tuesday club
