Me my mom and daughter decided to have meal in this pub as it used to be great few years ago. There was very few people mainly drinking beer so we threw should get food resonably fast . We have ordere burger with chips, chicken Tikka masala and chicken nuggets with peas.and potato waffles. There was no kids menu printed in pub and no app. Let's start with 1h 15min wait until we received food. After watching 40min I went to lady on bar asking how long will food take. She was very apologizing and said 10 Max 15 min and food will be there. After an hour and frustrated 2 year old I made another trip to lady at the bar. I could tell she was stressed too and I tried to be understanding. She offered drink for my toddler. finally after over an hour wait our food got delivered straight by delivery driver and unpacked on plates. Al food was slightly warm. My toddler waffles vere hard as bricks and peas.was missing which we was unable to get. And naan bread ... Lacking in words. Definitely do not recommend

The bar staff are very friendly and the food is really nice we would come back again

I visited this pub today as I usually do when I am in the area to find kids sat at the Bar and Hogging the toilet area .having had to ask these kids to excuse me to gain entrance to the toilet I felt a bit miffed to be honest. Upon further enquiries I established the kids were waiting for their mother who was at the time carrying out her shift behind the bar. Upon second visit to the Bar I witnessed one of the kids sat at Bar eating a Bag of chips from the chippy down the road. What happened to the no food to be eaten unless purchased from this establishment. Shocked and appauled I will NOT come here again. Vaping also being permitted INSIDE the premises. Council to be informed

Decent place to watch sports. Only downer needs to update card machines has contactless didn't work on my mobile so had to pay cash and have our two pints and leave due to the machines issues nice staff 😀

Went today and ordered a pot of tea via the Great Uk Pub app at 11.36am, still not arrived at 11.54am..went to counter and lady serving didn't know that I had placed an order .this is not the first poor experience I've had .went once for a boxing day meal total disaster

I came to the old court today for breakfast and was served by a lovely lady called Heather, who went above and beyond to help me and was extremely polite with her lovely London accent. The food was spectacular and the service even better. So thank you Heather you for sure made my day today. ♥️

So, I pop into this pub occasionally quick drink whilst shopping normally, and don't know why never choose to eat here. Well today I decided to give the food a try, and was pleasantly surprised! Ordered a southern fried chicken sub... it was massive and came with chips. I will definitely be back, yes the clientèle in the place is a little kooky but on the whole seem really amiable. The staff were super friendly overall great experience

Love The old Court very friendley staff nice place to relax of an afternoon. Sometimes it's a little too quiet for one of Kings Heaths hidden Gems. Definitely worth a try

I have used this establishment in its various guises from my youth to an mature man, and its sad to say its gone right down in my estimation from the cross guns and the Goose, theres an air of apathy thru the place from some staff to the management..

Cold I don't think the heating was on

charged different prices for the same drink for each person so either pretty cheap or way to pricy

Nice pub prices are good atmosphere is nice but the toilets are disgusting and always in a state they are never clean toilets always blocked most of the doors don't even lock the tap water is boiling no option of cold water which makes it difficult to wash your hands and to top it off it stinks like filth no spray nothing I know times are hard but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to get a few airwick's in there

I prefer to try be positive, but my recent experience at this pub was so terrible that I felt compelled to share it. We arrived at the pub with plenty time before the kitchen closing time of 9:00 PM. Despite the lack of a crowd, our food took a whopping 40 minutes to arrive. Two of the items we ordered were completely wrong and had to be sent back. The nachos were missing half of the advertised toppings, and when we inquired about the missing ingredients, we were informed that they were out of stock. The nachos were inedible, and after much back-and-forth with the waitress, we were finally refunded for them. Another member of our party ordered a steak cooked to a blue rarity, but it arrived well-done. We sent it back, but by the time it returned, everyone else had finished their meals. Once again, the steak was overcooked. At this point, we collectively decided that this pub was a lost cause. To add to the dismal experience, there was broken glass on the floor near our table. When we mentioned this to the staff, they blamed it on their "new menu and app that isn't live yet." For the sake of the future of this pub, I hope that their "new menu and app" comes with better-trained chefs and staff who are actually capable of doing their jobs. I strongly advise against this pub and will definitely not be giving it a second chance.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I never leave bad reviews. But this experience was awful. We arrived about 7.40 (kitchen closed at 9pm). Pub was pretty empty so we expected food wouldn't take too long to arrive. We ordered food and drinks, and then had to wait 45 minutes for it to arrive. Food came and 2 items that were not right at all. Both items needed sending back. The nachos came with only half the toppings advertised, and we were told only after asking for the rest of the toppings that they didn't have. They were inedible, and after a lot of back and forth from the waitress they refunded us for that item. Someone on the table ordered a steak blue, and it came out well-done. It was sent back and came out after everyone else had finished their meals. Again, the steak was completely overcooked, but we collectively decided this place was a lost cause. I dont normally write negative review but this one is needed - I ordered all-day breakfast and a cheese and bacon burger, which took over 45 mins to come to the table by looking at the food it was not that bad but started eating and had a few issues Allday breakfast- hash brown was so greasy there , egg was not runny and over done , beans was dry and had not juice and I asked for bread instead of toast and the sides was hard , the grilled tomatoe was hard you couldn't eat it Burger - has to many Garkins which other took the taste of the other ingredients Glass of coke I had was flat and watered-down Very disappointed!! Pleasant pub atmosphere with music and TV's to watch horse racing or football

Terrible customer service I don’t think your staff know how to say please or thank you, staff just spoke to each other while serving which makes the customer just feel awkward and not important. I asked for fish and chips no peas that was just ignored as I got fish and chips with peas The staff don’t smile and are just rude and blatantly have favourites

Had a bacon and cheese burger with a bottle of Magnurs. Good prices and good food served by helpful and friendly staff. Played pool on a table that accepted debit cards, well handy. Good experience 👍

Went for a few drinks which are reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere and really friendly staff. Spoke to the new holding manager who is ensuring he works closely with the door staff. So much better already.

Visited about a week ago from prague,Rocco made me feel very welcomed and at home every time in stepped into the property, would highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

Birthday evening out . The DJ is really good we sang along to almost all songs and the drinks are really well priced 😊

Visited from Canada and couldn’t have been more pleased. Rocco and Robin ,I think their names was, were super funny and hospitable. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Nice local Venue with Great bar staff. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Rocco. Excellent customer service skills and contagious laugh. My only gripe would be the food took a little long to come out other than that perfect experience.

Stopped for a drink and some food early on a Saturday evening. Initially trying to order drinks at the bar was a challenge as only 1 person was on and they kept disappearing. When I finally got to order, nearly half the draught beers weren't available. After sitting down I decided to order second drinks and some food via the app that the menus on the table tell you to use. After placing the order the barmaid came over and said the kitchen was closed and they'd have to refund us. They then collected the menus up from all tables. No food at 6.30 on a Saturday night? Yeah, we went somewhere else.

We had order onion ring come out burnt and the garlic bread was burnt my bagget was not cooked in the middle and meat balls was only just warm

Just had food it was not good enough food was lukewarm garlic bread was burnt and the onions ring was burnt as will chicken was not good meatballs baguette was very soggy and spicy and the peas was not cook properly sausages we're burnt too we all they disappointed with it all and we all what be going back there again and u need more staff on too we had to wait for food to come out over half a hour wait when it come out to us all

Drinks are very reasonable prices and the food was very nice but had to wait a while for the food not drinks . Friendly staff and plenty of choice of drinks. DJ Brooksie was really good and got a lot of people dancing .wheel chair accessible. Great night it was on the Saturday.

Totally un-flexable on changing any items on food menu. I asked for toast instead of grilled tomato and they wouldn't allow. Never been told this before. Only White bread and that was Stale. Taste was OK although didn't like the Veggie Sausages. Pleasant pub atmosphere with music and TV. Manager asked me to phone after reading my review because they don't like customers to be disappointed, so I did and he just confirmed about their policy of non-flexibility. I certainly won't be using this place again.
