Seeing two serving staff lolling behind the counter scrolling on phones sets a very poor tone. Only had drinks, since the food on offer wasn’t suitable.

Wante to try this place today on 03 May, Friday at around 13:50. Went in to enquire about availability as I had a baby with me push chair. The lady on till yapping said oh we don't serve the food just tea and coffee. Seriously, is this how you welcome someone. Did i enquire if you serve food or not. This unwelcoming behaviour put me off straight away and I didn't bother to go inside regardless of how the food or atm would be. Not going to a place where the customer is not welcomed.

Went upon a recommendation, friendly team, good atmosphere, great espresso based coffee and food. Enough said. Recommended

One of the best places to have a coffee in Birmingham. The atmosphere is pleasant and cosy, the coffee is very good and the treatment of the team that works there is unbeatable. I have been frequenting this place for years and I have witnessed all the improvements they have made to provide the best service to their customers.

A coffee shop is a coffee shop in most cases but I had an exceptional experience of great coffee and outstanding customer service all round. From walking in and receiving a warm and heart felt welcome, to the coffee knowledge and sincere hospitality from the staff. A lovely place to open up your laptop and tap away, not to mention having the tastiest cinnamon swirl recommended by the bubbly Liv, a breath of fresh air in customer service. Thank you.

Been here multiple times for the hot chocolate, always a good vibe. Also came by on a saturday evening for drinks at the bar, good place to chill with mates.

The most expensive cup of tea ever at £3.40 and the worst tasting - served in a leaking cup ! Honestly just milky water.. Utterly disappointed. Nice decor and music.

We were warmly welcomed and our dog was offered a treat and water. The drinks and delicious cakes were promptly served. We took a gamble trying there and it definitely paid off.

Small and not child-friendly. Was met with a cold attitude by the waiter. Struggled coming into the shop with a pram and absolutely no help offered. This is the first time I’ve walked into any place as a customer and met with a non-friendly attitude. The salted caramel brownie was an absolute delight and cannot fault. The latte was sour and tasted awful- clearly under extracted. Disappointed and won’t be visiting ever again.

No ambience or rapport with customers from female staff member, no interest in helping with order, no reply or thank you from staff member when goodbye was said. Overall poor experience won’t be recommending or coming again.

Really lovely place. The cakes they have are always tasty, the coffee is always perfect and very importantly the staff are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We've been going here since it opened and although visits are not as frequent now we have moved, it is always a treat to stop by.

I really want to love this cafe as it's the best placed one with respect to my house and the walk I like to take my dog on. But it's just mediocre. The coffee is alright, the baristas make it feel like I'm infringing on their time by ordering and the food is very lacklustre. I come here wanting to splurge on a treat but can't be bothered to waste my money on the food on offer. This place could be so much better but instead it's just the place I have to go to because there are literally no other cafes nearby. Such a shame. It is dog friendly though and that's great.

Popped in over the weekend as my husband recommended this establishment previously. Had a oat milk latte which was beautiful. Great customer service and very clean. Will be returning. The cinnamon swirls are addictive.

We had latte it was very tasty and good coffee. However, the staff was very unpleasant. One of the girls especially looked like she didn’t want to be there at all. Didn’t say thank you or show good customer service. We wouldn’t visit again just because of the service we got which is a shame. Thank you.

The drinks and cakes we had were very tasty. Good quality and prices. Nice coffee made carefully with a tasteful coffee variety. The space needs some more attention, but I definitely recommend a visit for espresso and a vgn cinnamon bun.

I have been to this cafe previously and have frequented it many times. Prior to today's visit it has been mostly positive. Today I was subjected to discriminatory behaviour by the staff when i visited the cafe in traditional ethnic clothing. It might have been staff incompetence but to me it felt like discrimination. I placed my order, paid and sat down. People who came after me was given their orders before me and my order wasnt even prepared. How hard is it to make a flat white and a Latte. I requested a refund because it was taking too long, my request was declined and was asked to wait even longer. If you cannot deliver on basic customer service and respect at least have the decency to return people's hard earned money. Stay away from this place!!!

I had come here to wait for someone I was meeting and in the end left as the staff were so unhappy to be here and didn't even give a small smile when I said thank you for my drink and overall they seem bored to be working here so much so they must make it a problem for their customers, furthermore the atmosphere was rather uncomfortable upon entering as almost none of the family's or groups of people were talking and also seemed to feel this displeasure these people had from working here. BUT the coffee is nice.

Great little local spot. I always stop here if I'm delivering in the area because I know parking is easier than any high street location.

MEAN CHRISTMAS SPIRIT! Took my four year old daughter and two year old son to this park this morning (CHRISTMAS EVE) via this cafe. Ordered a pot of tea. My daughter often likes to have a little bit of my tea so asked for a small cup and extra milk to cool hers down. The amount of milk they give is very minimal anyway so I often find myself having to ask for a 2nd glass. On this occasion my daughter had most the milk and I apologised and asked for a top up in the glass. Baring in mind the glass can only hold about 25ml of milk, the lady said that will be an extra £1!! I was like Whatttt an extra quid for a small bit of milk! I'd already paid £3.20 for the pot of tea! The lady refused to give me anymore so i didn't pursue and went back to our table. Very mean especially as its Christmas Eve today. This used to be our go to cafe but not anymore after todays experience.

Why is such a nice looking place re selling cakes from Costco and saying they are home made? I asked for a croissant which was on top of their water heater and they said they aren’t ready because they are defrosting?! Yeah that’s right… they wanted me to pay £3 for a croissant that was defrosting on top of a water boiler… I could go to the bakery and get one freshly out of the oven for £2. Sort it out.

I love this dog and child/baby friendly cafe, with high chairs and water bowls (and dog treats). This is an excellent place to come, no matter your situation, the staff are always accommodating, and friendly. Coffee is fresh and delicious. I have bought freshly ground coffee beans for my partner and he thoroughly enjoyed. Cakes are always tasty and they usually have a gluten free or vegan one too. The vegan chocolate cake ones, oh my are yummy. I personally think its more chocolatey and tastier than the normal non vegan chocolate cake. They have various teas and also hot chocolate which are worth a visit too. Baby changing facilities available. A little small but it is well kitted out. *The only down side it that they are not open in the evenings, as this would be a perfect little outing for the whole family.

the coffee was above average, the staffs were super kind. should note that they don’t do sandwiches anymore (asked and told they stopped serving it two years ago, but it is hard to adjust reviews on the Google map so there are still photos of nice looking brunch menus..)

Don't usually leave reviews but wanted to for this place. First visit and I received a genuinely warm welcome, the staff went out of their way to make me a vegan mocha and changed it to decaf half way through when I remembered. The coffee was delicious!

Good service and pleasant atmosphere. The only thing is they no longer do hot food. Only hot drinks and cakes. So if you fancy a catch up over a coffee with slice of homemade cake, you'll be looked after. It's dog friendly as well.

Very good coffee (is in the good coffee app) and you can get bags of beans. Residential location makes it a fair walk from anywhere else so hop on a bike.

We only just moved local and are in here - probably a bit too much really. It serves lovely coffee and a selection of cakes - which, owing to my recent lockydown weight gain - I probably should - but have everytime I go in. The staff are always mega polite. Want some mint advice? Start knocking out Pan Au Chocolat's and Croissants... We'd all literally DIE... Honestly.. you dont even need to thank me!

Coffee was fine. Service with a smile is was not. No indoor seating when we went and toilets were "out if order", but got impression they just couldnt be arsed. Looking at reviews our service must have been an exception. Don't want to put people off independent businesses so try for yourselves but I won't bother going back.
