Manor Farm, Dining & Carvery in Birmingham

Came with my 3 children as a treat because of the half term kids eat free offer. First of all I was told you has to sign up to get a code for the kids eat free which was NOT stated on the terms and conditions on the website. Another member of staff heard and luckily was able to put it through manually, but I was told I had to pay for the ice cream for the kids meals (which should also be free with the offer) despite the children eat free half term offer £1.50 per child, an extra expense of £4.50 this I didn't mind because they were nice enough to let me have the offer with no code. Then I let my 3 excited kids choose am I've cream of their choice to then be told I have to pay an extra £1 each for 2 of the kids because they had not chosen chocolate, strawberry or vanilla. So that was £6.50 for 3 scoops of ice cream 😡 It's absolutely disgusting considering it was meant to be free with their meal that I had to pay for it twice, the first I didn't mind but they should have said at the time of ordering that it only included the 3 flavours, because then I wouldn't have let the kids choose other flavours.

We came here for my 11year olds birthday and it was brilliant couldn't fault anything so yesterday we thought we would pop in and have a carvery , big let down , the beef was still red and blood moist ,wasn't cooked properly at all and even people in the queue were saying it looks disgusting etc , the turkey looked more like chicken tikka and dry and horrible , when I and other people complained , the man sorting the food out was so unfriendly and acted like he didn't care , I told him to get the manager but he didn't and when we had finished our drinks we just got up and left , we never asked for a refund because we thought keep the money and get anew chef , we will not be going here again and I truly hope all the meat is cooked properly for other people next time ,oh and I'd like to complain about the man who served our food , wasn't very nice at all I think he's got a big chip on his shoulder🤬😠😡

Go every Monday and have not had a bad meal yet

My mother and aunt said there food was great my food wasn't too bad it just lack flavour sorry I have to be honest I suffer from IBS so I have problems with food but I will suffer to eat the foods I love ❤️ expecially if it has flavour

Not once have I been to the pub and had a bad experience. The food is fantastic. Place is fantastic and the staff give 100%. I would recommend this pub to anybody

Enjoyed a lovely mixed grill, steak cooked just as I like, would have given 5 stars had the side dish of bread and butter I ordered had the bread not been dry and stale. Overall very good.

We visited here early evening, everything on the carvery was fresh and served by a friendly chef. Darcy was very accommodating and friendly. Would 100% recommend visiting here and will definitely return. And the deserts are so good

Came from Australia for a family catch up of 30 family members. Great food , great service. Special mention for Darcy who went above and beyond.

Had a lovely meal here with my family a few nights ago a wonderful young lady called Holly greeted us as the door and showed us where to be seated we then had a lovely meal being checked on by the staff to make sure everything was ok which it was perfect! Can not fault this place at all, all of the staff were amazing but Holly especially ensuring we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves it was great!

The food was okay, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Andy was extremely rude towards me. Darcy was a great waitress.

Cake away dissatisfaction, last time it could have been a lot fresher and this time it was missing the corner and the chocolate from the top.

Had a great meal out with friends, had a three course meal for just over £11.00,love the cauliflower cheese and the onion gravy, in fact loved it all, would definitely recommend.

We stop in this restaurant after a trip to Fort Dunlop centre we where made very welcome from start to finish and the food was reasonably price hot and and very taste .we would definitely return when in the area again

Visited Manor Farm today and was served and looked after by Danni, who was very lovely and helpful. We have been here multiple times and have been served by Danni a few times too and has always been lovely to see her. She is always very friendly.

Good food friendly staff nice surroundings and reasonably priced drinks. We are a group of four older people, one of which is suffering from a prostate condition which requires him to wear a incontinence pad which needs to be disposed of on a regular basis, unfortunately in the adult dining section there is a toilet but there is no bin to dispose of the used pad. We normally stay from one o'clock to about 4:30 , that's four meals four puddings and far too many drinks. The lack of a disposal bin in the adult male toilet is giving us reasons to question whether we should actually look for another location.

Incredible experience. Special mention to Nicole, she was amazing at handling the two gents that we brought in who have disabilities, entertaining them and handling their behaviour well, aswell as generally being lovely and kind to us all. The food was exceptional, carvery tasted amazing. The cake slices, huge homemade cakes, slices match the cake size. Theres a full collection of mixed ice creams too. Could do with air con in the hot weather 😅

Visited on Friday lunchtime with family, food was great especially the carvery and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Will be back again with work colleagues next week

FOOD Sunday afternoon we had Cheese & Onion pie , Sirloin Medium Rare with Jacket potato, Rump steak Medium Welldone a carvery & 2 coleslaw. The cheese & onion pie not much taste, the steak of the medium rare was like well cooked, I could not see any pink meat, half a tomato and a mere 2 onion rings. The coleslaw had more mayonnaise than raw vegetables. Absolutely gross we left all of it! The only thing that looked good was the carvery. STAFF Very friendly, double checked the order. The rooms were so hot, we were using the menus to fan us to try to keep cool. Unfortunately the window we couldn’t open. No air con in the place.

We had a carvery and it was the best carvery I've had, by far Priced really well, we had one regular and one large and a pint of coke and it came to less than £20

Came here for my birthday Sunday 25th August with family. One of the nicest carveries I've had in a while. I drove from stafford and was not disappointed

Wasn't happy with the service. Standing at bar for 10 minutes. Apparently its one queue for food and drink. So waiting to be served and bar staff just walking past me no eye contact. Just invisible. Also really miserable staff. Will be avoiding the place from now on. We used to love it there.

One of my favourite places to go , lovely clean restaurant and bar , food great , carvery great except that you only get two small slices of meat on a medium carvery and it's quirky experience on weekends.

We held my mums’ 90th birthday celebration with you, there were 19 members of our family, some of whom had travelled from Weston super mare to attend. We all had a wonderful time, food was delicious and delivered efficiently by friendly staff. We couldn’t fault anything. Thank you

Been here plenty of time but first time having there cakes, for the cost you get loads £5 for a massive slice, basically the size of 3 regular slices , both cakes i brought where 10/10 and will be here again

I have to say we have been for breakfast practically everywhere in Brum and this is the best we have found. The food is cooked well, tastes great and always hot. We’ve also been for the carvery and again the best we’ve ever had. Roast pots and parsnips are cooked the way they should be and the meat portion is generous. Shame it’s hidden as it really is the best quality food and nice place.

Lovely place found it onroute to Birmingham airport. Food was lovely had the carvery and an all day breakfast(grandaughter) the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Food is good use to like going for the dripping roast potatoes that were diffrent which u no longer get and to be honest it is very dark inside could do with being lightened up and the carpet cleaned Staff are lovely and friendly helpful 😊

Dinner for 2. Steak cooked and served exactly as requested. Loaded chicken strips were delicious. Staff were very friendly.

Turned up, was told there was no tables available for an hour and half, went online to see if we could book, it said there was one available in 30 mins. Also it’s next to the holiday inn which is currently being used for housing the immigrants … not a nice area

Just had Sunday carvery again and as always, good food and great service. One of the very few places where we have never had a complaint, even at busy times.

Great carvery, staff friendly and helpful, in particular Loz, good value, the only thing I would say is pudding are too big for the pensioners

Food came out promptly and was hot, and very tasty, staff was very pleasant and helpful definitely worth a midweek visit. Reasonable price for 4 people. Server Tay very pleasant and helpful Shaun who prepared the meals well done.

Main course was lovely and really enjoyable. Smothered chicken l. Sadly apple crumble was not as good as expected not well made apple was not delicate and crumble was not setto make a smooth pudding.

Very tasty food ,nicely cooked , good proportions, Darcy was extremely polite ,friendly & helpful, particularly when when asked re, dietary requirements. Very enjoyable experience all round.

Lovely place for a meal. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. The food was very nice and there was plenty to choose from. Their cakes are amazing, but at £5.25 we game them a miss. You do get a very big slice, though. We will definitely pay them another visit soon.

Had a carvery here the food is very nice and worth a try its great for the kids also as it has play areas for them ,its very clean as well

For me its a kind of restaurant where people go out with family ,Sunday roast for quantity and price not for quality wich is ok but nothing special.

We often visit here and fine the staff to be quite friendly, and the food is good. Loz is very kind and she listens well to any concerns. A very nice place to dine and relax.

Nice Sunday roast and ice cream

My daughter and I met up with my daughter-in-law for lunch last Sunday 26th May here at Manor Farm. Firstly, the postcode took us to a completely different place, 10 mins away, which was odd. Once inside we found the bar staff to be very pleasant and we did not have to wait in a huge queue for the food. The carvery was really nice and also hot. The children were always within view in the play area although I thought there were limited things to play with - it also all needed a good clean. Despite there being a sign for no food to be taken in the area, I noticed 3 x children eating ice cream in there. On a more positive note, the ladies that served our table were both very friendly and were checking on us from time to time to see that we were happy (Loz and Renee.) Over all , a good experience.

Absolutely brilliant service and took good care of my daughters birthday cake. We were served by Kenrik and he was very professional and was lovely.

Great welcome at the door and led to table reservation in kids area. Carvery was great with good selection and no room for desert so took that cake home and lasted me 2 days 😀👍

Gave 4 stars but in some aspects was 5 star and others 3, for instance had the carvery and the meat was superb tender and juicy yorkshire puds were excellent but the vegetables were poor with soggy mash burnt roasties parsnips that were falling apart and were clearly from a packet of frozen ones. The puddings and sweets were to die for but the soft drinks very overpriced and the big difference in price between weekdays and weekends/Bank Holidays was a bit of a scam, but overall the meals were of a fair price and the non carvery meals looked very nice and you can get some very nice take away cakes. Overall worth a visit. They staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Always have a good meal here, Loz and Renee were exceptional
