Great venue, fabulous food and service, come here often for family meals.

Lorraine in my eyes is amazing - always smiling, always attentive to detail and makes my experience all the more reason for returning.

I enjoy my breakfast there every Friday. It's very nice.

Lovely food. Lovely staff. We came here for a 70th birthday meal and it was wonderful. We lost some helium balloons that flew up to the ceiling and had a lot of fun with the staff trying to get them down. All serving staff were great but our main waitress Lorraine was lovely and so helpful. Brilliant pub.

The pub was clean and tidy on arrival with ample parking. Decor and atmosphere was lovely - music and options of places to sit with different vibes. Service by SAM who was LOVELY polite, welcoming, making customers feel valued, well presented etc. Menu offered a good selection. Food was good value for money. App was easy to use although weren't able to claim our £5 off for downloading which was disappointing. Great deal with bottled beer being 2 for £6. Pub was clean and tidy. Would definitely visit again.

Came in to pick up a Too Good to Go carvery order. The team here were lovely. I left with massive portion of fresh food, which was amazing. And all just for less than £4!! Rich who looked after us was fantastic. I would highly recommend visiting Old House At Home and looking at their Too Good to Go options.

We were there for a party at the wacky warehouse. Children had a lovely time, staff were polite and happy and helpful. A secure area for the children to play.

Lovely meal today and staff the usual friendly folk. Only issue was that I was sent a voucher for a free starter for my birthday and it DIDN'T work no matter what the staff tried.😤

Staff was super friendly when we first arrived. We used the app to order our drinks and food. Wait time wasn’t too long. Food was super delicious. There is various different food that are for everyone. Would recommend for family with children or family going for a relaxing meal or drink.

We had booked a section of the pub for a large family gathering, 70th birthday celebration for my dad and uncle. Staff were very friendly and professional. Food was good. Carvery was good. Relaxed atmosphere. As far as I know, we were all happy with everything. We also book this venue every Christmas for family gatherings.

Had to wait over 10 mins at carvery station just to be served! Tried to ask bar staff to call kitchen, bar served was rude! Had to also ask for alternative meal for the main chicken dish, it was awful! The peas were not green and cold woody fries Not impressed, will not be returning in a hurry

Arrived at 5-45 a party of 6. Ordered straight away. Had starters which took about 10 minutes. Not too bad We then waited and waited,no main course. At 7-10 we asked where our mains were as we'd waited forever,and was told,just being plated. Mine came out Luke warm, I didn't say anything because I didn't fancy another hours wait. First and last time I will be visiting. Staff were very polite at all times

Visited here tonight had a carvery (large) got 2 pices of turkey and some hard veg. The sprouts was like bullets i complained but nothing was done about the matter not even a sorry. Not worth the money. Won't be visiting here again the place needs a good clean up & some better manigmeant skills.

We had a lovely belated Mother’s Day meal today. Lorraine in particular was extremely friendly and helpful. We do love to come here. Would come more often if we had the money. Never had a bad experience.

We went in as a family of 5 for a Friday 4.4.25 evening meal. The service and food were great. The carvery was nice and fresh, and the food was delicious. It came in no time at all. The team as always were pleasant very helpful. The lady that helped us was exceptionally pleasant and she asked us to give a review of which we said no problem. She was doing a fantastic job. Had a wonderful time at the Old House at Home. The service was impressively quick - our food arrived piping hot and perfectly prepared. Ash the cook was very friendly and come out to ask if everything was ok with our food and we were having a nice time. The pub also has such a welcoming, family-friendly vibe that makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. All the bar staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, which really made our visit special. Whether you're looking for a family meal or just a drink at the bar, this place hits all the right notes. Will definitely be back!

My home from home. Good food, especially the carvery and a good selection of beer. In the summer its really nice to sit in the beer garden and watch the footie. In the winter, plenty of big screens inside as well. All the staff are great, but Ash, Donna and Aidan are standout lovely. Definitely recommended!

Most people waiting for carvey.. but order from meau. Nice pie an beefburger , gammon tasty . Chips abit hard dry . Nice friendly staff .

Friendly atmosphere and lovely food

Jeff was a great host. Checking on us and making sure we had everything that we needed. The portions on the main were massive so I couldn’t finish it. The starters were beautiful. I had haloumi fries. Crispy shredded beef(better than the Chinese) and chicken strips Nashville style 😀. Will defo be visiting again for food. Excellent service. Thanks Jeff (Ash)

Fantastic night, loved the band. Atmosphere was top notch, helpful staff about like ash who served us drinks at the bar with speed, and malik who cleared our glasses and made us laugh.

Lovely night tonight, was great listening to the detours play, manik was fantastic, great chat whilst serving. Will be coming again for the next one.

The old house at home is a lovely pub, great for all ages , staff are welcoming. I gave 4 stars for the carvey because the veg was cold in middle again and its the second time ive had a carvey, so im not sure if i was unluckey, maybe i am a slow eatter, I so I didnt complain..maybe have the plates hotter ..anyways its a lovely pub and I would recommend. X

Love it here! Great atmosphere, love going to the wacky. The staff Nikki, Shannon and Ellis also add to the great atmosphere here, great to talk to, down to earth and offer a real homely atmosphere making you want to keep coming back. The wacky warehouse is a good size with plenty for kids to do and a good mixture of children from all backgrounds for the children to interact with.Food can also be served at the wacky which is a great touch.
