Had a Loddon citra cask ale that was gin clear. Fabulous! Good choice of beers and nice outside smoking area.

"One of tge Best pints of Draught Bass outside of Burton", was the view of the CAMRA Representative when he spot checkdd the cask beers......... and I totally agreed with him, well done !

Great hosts great hospitality great food cannot not do more for you.we have 3 generations of family dining at this well run restaraunt no where compares to the quality of food. In regards to the fish, It is well looked after it is decades old. if you speak to the owner who is always there he will happily tell you all about him. as for the tank it is quite deceptive it is bigger than it looks. Respect to the family Anu and Thank-you again for an enjoyable evening

Food is very good from here. The chips are the best and very reasonable prices. Lovely people.

Lovely bacon and egg, on toast or in sandwiches. Good choice of menu. Friendly service. A good place for refreshment during a walk round the reservoir. Thank you

Great little place , not quite enough indoor tables , but lovely staff and good atmosphere when music is on.

We had a fantastic meal on Tuesday evening. We were celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary (25th). This restaurant is very local to us but we hadn't visited until now. We were waited on with the right amount of attention. The food was delicious. After dessert 2 of the waiters approached our table and presented us with a complimentary bottle of wine wrapped in silver paper with a handwritten note on it wishing us a 'Happy Silver Wedding Anniversary'. They also gave me a single yellow rose. So thoughtful. We will be revisiting 😊 Thankyou Shenapur for helping to make our Anniversary so special

Very interesting location and surroundings. A well presented and tasty selection of sandwiches, pastries and sweets. Very enjoyable.

Disgusting to be honest. Horrible chips frozen cold and stuck to the wrapper probably been there for hours. My meat was burned and found a hair in the food which made us throw the food away. Money in the bin. Won’t be returning.

Good little friendly quiet pub, easy to find and we did a motorhome stopover in the carpark (free if using the pub).

Had the jerk and the oxtail with rice and peas. Reasonable portion and price. Nice flavours coming through. Oxtail was nice and succulent. Jerk you could taste the pan, lovely sauce too! Would recommend

Exquisite food from this restaurant cannot stress enough of how this place does the most AMAZING food I ordered the mix stir fry and it was to die for!! mixed with lamb, chicken and prawns. Definitely recommend everything was impeccable!!

This restaurant used to be one of my favourite places to eat haven’t been for a while so not sure if there is new owners or a new chef now? Spent over £30 tonight complete waste of money and if I lived nearer the restaurant I would have returned the food. I ordered the Haweli special grill paid the extra for prawns and only received one. The pilau mushroom rice was tasteless and very watery it was also made with canned mushrooms 🤢. The grill itself was all over powered with spice and mushy. The salad was old started to turn brown. The only decent food to eat was the peshwari Naan. Sorry to say but very disappointing and waste of money. Won’t be reordering anytime soon.
