Got order wrong, I was too far away to pop back to make a complaint

Love this place. Staff are beautiful

Nice food and reasonably priced. Close to the reservoir if you want a walk before or after.

I adore this cafe, I love all the original features. Service is great, and it just gets better each time I visit. Had a fabulous Matche Latte yesterday made just how I love it. Then later, a cheeky breakfast of Poached eggs done how I like with fried tomatoes n mushrooms on brown toast. They can make you everything you desire. Just ask. Really good flat white. Lovely staff. Clean.

Good basic food at a reasonable price.

Great cafe visited it a few times over the years, popped in this week and it was as good as ever. Breakfast was nice and fresh with good quality ingredients filled me up for the day. It was particularly busy as it was a Friday morning but we didn't have to wait to long. Staff were polite and friendly we'll be back next Friday.

The price is expensive for the quality of food you get. When i asked if the bacon was back, they had no answer, just a tub of conngele meat, sausage are of poor quality. In respect, it should be quality over quantity

A proper cafe. Hard to find one that feels so traditional. And they had oat milk! Great sausages too

Ordered a chicken mayo salad sandwich, expecting something basic, but such a nice touch of the cafe to sear the chicken before putting it into the sandwich, just how I would make it at home 🥰 very friendly and quick service. Thanks!

It is an ok spot, nothing that stands out about, serves some nice food and has hot and cold drinks available.

Great value for money! We always come at lunchtime after our walk around the reservoir for a bite to eat. Good menu and portions, service with a smile!

Great selection of caf classics with great quality, decent prices and fantastic service. Near the shore of the reservoir which is a perfect digestion walk when you're finished. Will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.

Reservoir Cafe is an absolutely gem! From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere. The coffee is top-notch, always brewed to perfection. Whether you are stopping by for a brunch, Reservoir cafe never disappoints. The staff are friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. I highly recommend truing their Reservoir special breakfast.

Very unhappy with their service. This morning, I was their first customer, and I ordered simple tea and hot chocolate. And it took so long for me to make it.

Coastal breakfast place mostly. Unfussy, food isn't something to write home about, but it's an honest cafe that I like a lot

Closed yesterday but got to try it today , food ok very warm inside no fan for customers, upper windows all closed not alot of thought for the customers sadly, an update on my last visit I've been today and been since my last visit, it's got to be added I had a champion breakfast. And service was very good very polite.

Almost drowned so I dragged in a 73 year old woman and used her as a float to drag myself to safety. Then attacked some pensioners. Was a 10/10 experience as the staff cheered me on and then showered me in gifts for winning the fights. Until I lost to a 92 year old woman. Then I was shouted at for losing so I left unaccompanied 2/10 experience.

Wonderful little Place run by family I suppose . Clean and cosy. I was served by polite staff and food was cooked perfectly , not forgetting about affordable price and portions too ! I’d say if you ever walk past going or leaving reservoir- pop in even to get a sausage sandwich to take out . It’s a lovely place and should be supported . Xxxxx.

Staff are really lovely and theres always a pretty unique crowd depending on the day/time you go. However the basement seating area is lacking so i'd recommend trying to get there early if u want to a garuntee a nice table

You get a very good amount of food for what you pay for, service is quick and efficient & the staff are lovely.

I've been here a few times now after a walk around the reservoir. They do great waffles. Haven't tried the breakfasts yet but they are on my list as they look delicious. And the prices are low too. Will be back again soon.

Came this morning to have breakfast and do a little work. The two ladies behind the counter were extremely helpful and kind. As a foreigner I had trouble knowing what is what on the menu but they sorted me out. The prices are affordable, WiFi and heater work well. I will come back as much as I can!

Excellent cafe to celebrate finishing work for Christmas, they were able to accommodate seven of us thanks to the two ladies for making it possible.

Basic café serving comfort food for workers and passers by like us, plus TV crews! Basil was made welcome.

Sausages are like Hyde, eggs smell like💩,bacon looks like road kill,fried bread like it had been bathing in the reservoir, tomato’s was hotter than nuclear fire and for the toast ,dropped it on the floor and cracked my tiles, other than that good service top job👍

Good honest food from a back street cafe, why not have a walk around the reservoir after a breakfast.

This place is nothing special. Bang below average food, to a poor standard. How does a sandwich get so messed up, when the order is also written on the bag. My sandwich was meant to contain 2 eggs and 2 hash browns. However, it arrived with one egg and slug like mushrooms. Poor effort, will not be using again.

Did a social distance walk around the rezza then went in for a sandwich a d hot chocolate yummy...

Over cooked, borderline burnt sausage and bacon sandwich, too dry to eat, was a take out, so, no chance of returning

Friendly service but the food was disappointing. Cheap, deep fried sausage and deep fried mushrooms, a fried egg which was more like a hard boiled egg. Price was reasonable but not enough care in the cooking.

They do some lovely traditional food and a dam fine English breakfast, and my personal favorite, after a walk around the reservoir, poached eggs on toast.

Realy nice fresh breakfast for a small price, if only I live closer I would visit more frequently. I love the rustic look of the café, maybe not the most glamorous look but it just made me feel relaxed and cozy, the two ladies that served me were realy courteous and brought over everything we asked for.

Exactly what you'd expect from a little cafe. Excellent service, the staff are all really friendly and helpful. The food arrives quickly when delivered and also in the cafe itself. Food is always good quality and comforting. Really nice convenient place.

Fairly standard greasy spoon. In the absence of anything else in the vicinity, pretty good.

Make sure you time your walk around the reservoir so that you can enjoy a pot of tea and a sausage sandwich at this excellent cafe.

Good breakfast here . Room to park coaches on side roads. Ideal if your dropping off in brum. The reservoir is a good way to walk off the food you've just eaten lol. No cards accepted here though cash only.

Comida fantástica Comí aquí regularmente ya que soy un residente local. El personal es muy amable y servicial. Siempre hay clientes en las mesas y nunca hay que esperar mucho para comer. El menú es extenso y hay muchas opciones para elegir que incluyen comida inglesa y asiática.

It's a greasy spoon venue with cheap and cheerful food. Sadly, some of the regular customers are a bit brusque.

Visitamos en Birmingham "baby sitting" nuestro nieto (4) para el almuerzo. Este café es un café sensacional que ofrece una excelente selección de platos, desde platos hasta desayunos, platos principales, etc. No hay menú para niños. Todo el personal era servicial, cortés y amable. Seguramente volvería a visitar.

I was on my way back from a trumpet lesson when I decided to treat myself for a spot of brekkie brek brek. I parked my car in dirty Harold road behind a rather nice looking Volvo. Had a cracking cuppa, the food was alright but I've had better. Upon entering this brekkie onto my excel matrix for delicious breakfasts, it came out at three stars. A fair result in my opinion.
