Went for breakfast this morning great food and great service, we really enjoyed our breakfast in a nice and quiet the way I like my breakfast. Its at a really good price.

Very loud party on thursday, can’t sleep in apartment building next door and people work the next day… Oneills has no respect for local residents… no amendments despite other people complaining too!

I went to the bar mainly for a language club that takes place inside. But it's very nice inside, although it's a bit tough without air conditioning and they charge you money for charging your phone, it's not free.

Excellent place for a pre show meal. Staying at the Travellodge opposite, so this was very handy for a meal before seeing Peter Kay. Having only experienced the O'Neils in Oxford, I wasn't expecting a good experience. What a pleasant surprise. Roomy and plenty of space for diners. Very quick bar service and the food service was much quicker than expected. Excellent options and cooked perfectly to my taste. Despite being busy, the staff were smiling and attentive. The atmosphere was great with a live group on as a Coors promotion which added to the experience. Popped in for a couple of drinks after the show, again served quickly. Only down side for us was the loud music which prevented any conversation, but we're oldies so we're not the late night target audience anyway. Much, much better than expected, and we will revisit next time we're going to a gig at the arena. Popped in for breakfast this morning and it was superb. Very large portions and value for money.

Came in on Friday with my partner after work and had a fab time. The band was fantastic and the service from the team on shift was second to none, can tell the bar is managed brilliantly. Love coming here! Keep doing what you’re doing oniells broadstreet!

Really poor service and the barmaid was rude, I order food with my work colleagues and was left waiting whilst my colleagues ate and finished. I went to cancel my order and was told it was delayed as we ordered separately… the barmaid who issued the refund was really rude, like I was in the wrong I’d give this place a miss in the future

I have organized a tour to the knitting and stitching show in August for the last 6 years. We happened upon O’Neil’s then. It was so good that every year since I ring ahead of time and the group is always dealt with as a large group. The food is always good, reasonably priced and good cheerful service .once again this year everything went like clockwork and we enjoyed our time there. Already planning for our return next August, see you then!

Good pub with good helpful staff

Always been a really nice atmosphere and great service from all the staff who've served me over the years. This might be a sports bar of sorts but during the day it's one of the nicest pubs on Broad Street and when sport is on, there's usually no trouble and it doesn't get overly loud. Food's pretty great as well!

Came for lunch two days in a row. The vegan burger is good, the vegan pizza is better, and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

Had a couple of cocktails, beers and food before going to Foo Fighters concert. Great atmosphere, food spot on and even played some Foo Fighters to get everyone excited for the concert. Highly recommend 👍 cracking place and some of the nicest staff you'll find!

Found this place after a Kings Of Leon concert, excellent music selection by the DJ. Staff were amazing and super friendly, couldn't find a better night out in Birmingham!

Really great place to grab lunch or a drink. Great selection of food and drinks which can be ordered to the table via the app or can order at bar. Tables have mini tvs so if you want to watch football you can get a great undisturbed view. Nice and quiet during the weekday morning and afternoon so a great spot if you want somewhere quiet to eat and relax. Foods also great and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be visiting again in the future :)

Great early evening at O'Neill's Broad Street Birmingham, 3 free drinks & a pizza. Staff were wonderful door man, bar staff & Ryan arranged a full pizza, unbelievable! Would have stayed all night if hadn't have had Pet Shop Boys tickets. William definitely be back. Loved it.

We were there for a comedy gig above the actual pub so did not order food. The gig was brilliantly organised by O'Neils staff. They kept us informed when we could go to the function room. Definitely a place more comedy should be staged in the future

We phoned a week earlier and I also went into the venue to talk to the manager. They explained that their lift didn’t work but they actually got someone to come out and fix this in the week before the event. Massively appreciated the help and guidance on the day and the thought to fix the lift, and it meant we got to see our favourite artist live. Navigating life as a new wheelchair user has had many challenges, but venues and managers like this make such a massive difference so thank you

We stayed at the travel lodge which was next door and ate here for breakfast and evening meal. The food was fantastic and great value for money. The staff were friendly and we had great friendly service. Would definitely recommend it to othes staying nearby.

1 When the both meals come out they was cold, the chicken in curry cold, the chips on my steak was also cold and the steak, when I complained I was told by duty manager ( Abi ) that the kitchen was also in the process of cleaning and the meals got left behind ? What a joke and then when I asked for mustard for my steak I was told sorry we have got none? For a pub run by M&B is a complete joke guys .

We were given a warm welcome by the gentleman behind the bar and chatted about our plans for the day/evening. As we had shared we were staying over near by he also told us about the breakfast the times too! We had some small plates from the mix and match menu, all of which were delicious - compliments to Chef Gracie! My partner loved the mushrooms and I thought the calamari strips were soo yumm! We were checked back on and while we were eating and shortly after despite them being busy serving a large pub golf group. I’d highly recommend and will return when back in Brum (probs for brekkie in the morning 😂)

We came for our staff party and everyone was amazing food was great to, we recommend anyone going for food or drinks, thank you to shae, Elle, Ryan (i think he was the manager in a suit) narika, and a lady with shoulder length hair nothing was to much for any of the staff

Husband and I had the best meal in here. I had chicken burger and hubby beefburger. Was informed of half hour wait. No problem, it was hugely busy. Both meals were piping hot. Something you don't get much nowadays with pub meals. Fully loaded burgers with plenty of sauce etc. Definitely going again in a couple of weeks when we are back in the area.

We recently hosted an event at O'Neills as a university society, and Ryan and the team were absolutely amazing. They were really accommodating with our set up, decorations and clean up and really took care of us the entire time. Service was amazing and we will definitely be coming back for events in the future!

We came for the fight. We arrived at 9:30 and the music was far too loud, it was ridiculous; I’ve been to quieter nightclubs. I’m aware that it is a bar, and there’s meant to be music, but at 9:30, most people in there seemed to just want to chat to their group and relax before the fight. Unfortunately we couldn’t go anywhere else as we had booked and would lose the deposit/bar tab.

Visited here this Sunday afternoon was served by an Irish gentleman good service received. Opted for a traditional pint of Guinness. Was perfect. Place clean and showing various sporting fixtures

Came for breakfast. Was only one there, ordered small vegetarian breakfast. Looked ok, but egg was hot. Beans, Luke warm, hash browns slightly warmer, sausage, stone cold. Wouldn't eat here again. How can it be so wrong, with one customer??

Don’t bother they are all made with cheap ingredients complained to bar staff about long island ice tea being made with pepsi max to be told speak to manager she replied doesn’t matter to me if your not happy with the £8 drink thats how we do it if you cant drink it buy something else, its not my problem now i have taken your money. They shouldn’t serve cocktails if they make up there own methods cocktails are cocktails these are cheap imitations made by untrained bar staff managed by untrained unprofessional management. Terrible experience stay away

Food was good. Service was awful. All staff members were rude. Was watched closely all evening. All because of a meal I was having with the family?? Asked for ID 4 times, though I appreciate the youthful compliment, 4 times is plain disrespectful.

There before and after a Villa match it's a great and well run venue 👏.

We would like to say a huge thank you to David firstly for holding onto our lost bag from the Cheltenham festival (which we thought we lost on the metro) it was a lovely surprise. David goes above and beyond and is so friendly and polite. He makes us feel so welcome we have 2 booths reserved for the grand national which we enjoyed with a few friends. The food was also fantastic. I can only rate this the best place for sports and food and great hospitality. Thank you David :) Lisa & Mark

Really fun venue on a night out. DJ playing good tunes and sometimes have a live band. Let down a bit by slow/disinterested service but otherwise very good fun place

Five or more children running around continuously, knocking things over and running into customers, very noisy, fighting, and nothing is being done to stop it. And it keeps on going, over 30 minutes now. These kids can easily be injured, it’s not fair on them (kids will be kids). I’ve never seen anything on this scale ever before. This deserves a message to the licensing authorities;

Stop playing loud music after 10pm or keep your doors shut as residents of surrounding buildings can’t sleep at night

Was in the Broad Street O'Neills on Sunday. Had a fantastic time, Dave was brilliant as always, really accommodating, friendly & a real credit to the pub.

Absolutely delicious food! So hot and fresh and great portion sizes! Also served by the fabulous David who makes you feel so welcome!

I love here. I you want advice on what to eat, try their Bao Bao Buns :D The atmosphere is awesome, the staff are brill and they have live music

Came here 2 days in a row whilst on a trip to Birmingham. Both times the staff were amazing (especially Ryan), so friendly and very helpful. The food was also great, hot, tasty and arrived quickly. Will definitely be back in next time we're in Birmingham.

We came here (9 of us) for the Liverpool v Chelsea Carabao Cup final and the service was fantastic. The food was amazing (thanks so much James). The atmosphere and the service was spot on, staff were really friendly and we had a fantastic time. I know my cousin comes here regularly but I'm sure the next time we are in Birmingham we will be stopping by! Had a great small breakfast this morning with the husband, we added an extra hash brown, it was cheap and delicious 😋 worth every penny and just enough food to start our day Service was speedy by friendly staff, would definitely recommend 👌
