An amazing night for a birthday upstairs. Couldn't have been better, friendly staff, great poker tables and not costing 100s for drinks.

Food was good, and had a burger Gunness deal.

Had a great time at O’Neill’s on Broad Street, and a big shoutout to Sam, the manager. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy, checking in throughout the night and just generally making the place feel welcoming. The drinks were great, the atmosphere was buzzing, and the service was spot on. Definitely a place to go if you want a good night with good vibes!

Nice food shame beggers can just walk in to use loos & ask for money etc while walking around avoiding staff members.

We had 2 small breakfasts and we were both really disappointed. The sausage was rock hard and inedible, the mushroom would have bounced off the wall back into my hand and the bacon had shrunk to nothing and the egg was like rubber as well. I'm sorry but never again.

Had a great time at O’Neill’s. The cocktails and food were delicious. Liv was amazing at serving us, she had great knowledge of the drinks and recommended her favourites. Thorn was lovely and very prompt and helpful in sorting out the darts for us, we had so much fun. I’ll definitely be coming back to O’Neill’s 😍

I have been to O'Neill's in the past and their breakfasts have never disappointed me and yesterday was no exception.

Great atmosphere whilst we were there..!

I was refused service in the bar but the barmaid couldn’t tell me why. I know the way she looked at me I felt she was hostile to me for no reason. I have learning disabilitys. I try to explain but she kept refusing until then when I left my other three friends were also refused.

I like the breakfast here better than wetherspoons

Amazing service from thorn, she was friendly and nice throughout.friendly and chatty throughout and brought us all of our drinks. Team wales is hard to deal with but she was amazing.

Popped in with family member to try out the meal and a drink offer. It was cold at the table we were sitting at, had to keep our scarfs on. Most of the tables including the one we sat at had people’s half drank drinks, tables wasn’t cleared or cleaned. I had to ask the bar woman and she cleared and cleaned our table promptly. I can’t fault the service. The food was tasty but not much to brag about. We had the bangers n mash(could have added more peas- the gravy was good 👍🏽) and gammon steak meal with egg(could have been presented better, the look like someone had cut of the egg white and left just the yolk) with two large glass of Diet Pepsi. The drinks selection was great, you get a good amount per glass. The ladies toilets need urgent maintenance work. Toilet seats and door locks need looking into and again it was that cold you could see the steam coming from the toilet bowl after it was used😮

Love it here everytime, brilliant for the six nations, great live music on Saturday nights, can’t go wrong!

Have been coming here for well over a decade now to watch the 6 nations with groups of friends every year. Long gone is the friendly hospitality of some of the staff. Sat down with some friends and were rudely informed y a mixed race woman with long braids that the table had been reserved, but there was no sign on it. We didn't argue, just said yeah no problem, we'll have one more sip of the drinks and move over. Clearly intending to as some of us were already grabbing our stuff to move. She walked away a few paces, turned back and howled at us to move now. We were all disgusted with her attitude and customers nearby made comment to us about her also. Generally the atmosphere amongst customers in here is great and that was the same during this visit but the rude member of staff and the fact 2 of us caught some virus that hospitalised us two days after suggests training has gone down hill and hygiene, health and safety has dropped. Will definitely question before coming again but can categorically say, will be watching the rugby somewhere else this year

Good food and good service, little cold with the smoking area open out the back. Plenty of option on the food menu which is quite tasty. Match was on and there wasn’t much atmosphere.

Went for an irish breakfast as on Google it people have posted pic so assuming they do a breakfast i set the destination in the maps and set off got there firstly the carpark behind charges £5 then I go inside to find out an irish bar doesn't even do irish breakfast so I left straight away disappointing

Great place to watch games and have a few pints. Nothing against the food it’s just good pub food. Beer is a little expensive.

14 of us came for my friends birthday, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Would defo recommend, all the food came out really quick and was delicious.

Food was good quality, arrived within a reasonable time and good prices. You have weather's pools next door but O'Neills was far better.

Went a few weeks ago for a private party. Hd a really great night w friends, special thanks to Ellie on door, she was really helpful. Service was all round perfect, would recommend the frozen pornstar

We have now made it a weekly visit as my mom loves the chicken, ham hock & cheese pie and I love the steak pie. Always a cheery welcome, lovely and clean and great service

Brilliant food lovely astomphere staff very friendly and helpful they would do absolutely anything for you toilets in the back a disabled ramp in used and on a ground level so okay power bank for phones etc payable not much car parking bus and metro go past here pudding was fantastic nice and rich keep up the good work

Very friendly staff, you could see good team work and co-operation. Place was clean even the bathrooms which isn't always the case in pubs and bars. The food was outstanding. We've been back a few times and I'll be back again.

The service was slow. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, being from America, didn't expect a small steak sliced into approximately 6 pieces. It was also medium rare and the cheese, not sure what kind of cheese it was, but it was tasteless. It should just be called a steak sandwich because definitely not a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Also the steak was tough, couldn't even cut it with a knife. We asked if it could be cooked longer (I don't like rare meat), the manager came over, said they don't cook the steak to order, but they would replace mine and cook it to order. My fiance ordered a pint of beer and it had a fowl odor to it. Luckily for him, he could smell it before he took a sip. It was promptly replaced, not so with my sandwich, that took awhile.

Really good value and tasty breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised. Probably the best cooked breakfast I’ve had from a chain pub.
