My boyfriend and I came here to The Cottage a few weeks ago on his bike. It's a gem of a bar in the lush hills with great service minded staff. Very good music for a nice chill. I think this might be our new favorite pub! See you soon.

Lovely sushi, very fresh! even lovelier staff, will certainly be returning. The price is incredibly reasonable for the quality, by far the best sushi in exeter 🤍( the pic doesn’t do justice as we had already eaten most of it 🤣)

Can't believe this place isn't busier. Best cafe in Bishopston! Delicious fresh cooked food, great coffee, good prices, gorgeous garden area out the back, large portions.

Absolutely gorgeous food. Everything was hot & tasty. We used this takeaway last year while on holiday & had been looking forward to another meal from there. We were not disappointed!!!! Really reasonable prices too. Fast service. We will visit again next week before going home.

Symonds have a fabulous Team working here, attentive and polished. Sunday lunch was very good, roast sirloin, a roast pork and a nut roast and vegan gravy, made especially for me as a vegan to enjoy with all the roast veg... An elegant setting, we will be back. Thank you, Chef, for the nut roast, it was wonderful and appreciated.

Visited recently. We ordered a goats cheese and onion chutney sandwich to share, which I believe was £10.85. When the order came it was literally two side plates with half a sandwich on each plate, no crisps or side salad. Nice sandwich but very expensive I thought for what we received. Nice coffee

Have been ordering from here for many years, always been satisfied with previous orders Standards have gone down with quality and taste of food, Called to point out in a polite manner that meal was not satisfactory, to be interrogated and informed nothing had changed in the kitchen Very disappointed with food and attitude towards a customer that was raising concern. Sorry Joy Hing but you are just not what you were!!!

Had seen the restaurant advertised as 3 AA rosette but have since found out that is under review due to change of chef. Restaurant was dimly lit with nearby table resorting to using torch on his phone to read menu. Had the scallops which were average and small . Pork was okay as main course but not a large portion. Cheeseboard was average. Was expecting more from what was a listed restaurant.
