Great choice of South West real ales and cider. Retro environment bar food pies and chips. Worth a visit

A great village pub, lovely people and the food was amazing. We were staying at the local campsite and this place was just a small but lovely walk away. Well worth a visit or two if you’re in the area.

Essential to book! Absolutely superb meals. My wife had salmon, which was excellent and with perfectly cooked vegetables, as opposed to the underdone ones you normally get nowadays. I had the Moroccan Tagine, which was a fantastic hot and spicy dish of lamb with a very tasty sauce on a bed of rice. Far and away the best meal we had on our Swanage holiday. Some reviews have commented on slow service. This is a small family run restaurant with food cooked to order. Don't expect any fast food! We found it very relaxing, with quiet and pleasant background music and plenty of people watching as we sat by the window.

Had a veggie breakfast which looked, which was delicious and fresh . Eggs were amazing and cooked to perfection. Partner had regular breakfast which looked good too. The guy who served us was friendly . The cafe was spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend and return

Excellent food and service, the reception even recommended the best side dish to go with the main dish, even though the side dish I chose was more expensive. I went with the recommended side dish of course! Do be aware that there are no tables or cutlery to dine in with, but there are benches just outside

I went there yesterday as soon as I arrived the owner did not said hi. I’ve been waiting in a middle of the restaurant waiting for him to give me a table. Once I’ve asked where I can seat he said wherever you want the restaurant is empty. I sat and he came 5 minutes after asking me what I wanted to eat but he forgot to give me the menu. I’ve been served but they forgot to put the cutlery on the table. The food was ok not too good not too bad.

Hard to choose which fush n chop stall to go to but this one had a small option for £8.50. Absolutely delicious. Really hot. Perfect chips.

The best ice cream shop in Brean. Every flavour Marshfield ice cream you could possibly wish for. Staff are very friendly and very accommodating with requests. Especially hot with gf and very careful in that regard.

Called in for a spot of lunch to break our journey . Really good coffee in a proper size glass mug , and really tasty home made leek and potato soup . Perfect . And the cakes all looked fantastic too !

Just nipped in after a day at the aquarium and tried the new burger deal they have going on Amazing food, amazing service, nice and cozy place. Highly recommend

my parents live local to nancarrow so when my husband and i came down to visit, they booked us in for lunch lovely location and stunning barn that you're seated in it was a full house so was very busy and rather noisy but was a great atmosphere. the waiting staff were friendly and attentive Food was plentiful and excellent. very very tasty! we said to my parents we'd happily go there again when we're next down in cornwall! thank you Nancarrow for a fantastic lunch!

Reopens next year after renavation

Don’t expect the online shop to deliver! They must have Ga, Ga, Ga, Granville on his pushbike making the deliveries. They are a joke!! Would not deliver over £20 shopping just over the Severn Bridge to South Wales even though I offered to pay the extra postage. But don’t worry try Waring’s Bakery Reading as they deliver to Wales and also Food For Thought in Northamptonshire delivers to Wales. Not Winnie’s though, the end of the street and just down the one cul de sac is the delivery limitation. But they have an online store??? SHUT IT DOWN! NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!
