Called in for breakfast and it didn't disappoint! Freshly cooked and everything tasted brilliant, service was great really can't fault it in any way

We had our reception here and Lisa and staff went all out to make our day special. The food was fantastic, we use this place normally for coffee and food .

Cocktails were beautiful and very well presented, lots of variety! The Somersby apple cider was one of the nicest pints I’ve had in a long time, even had to ask the staff if they added anything to it as it was so lovely. Staff were friendly and always happy to help, the place was spotless and had a good atmosphere. Live music in the nights was good and very chilled. Would 100% return and definitely recommend.

My female friend asked for a glass of water for a girl who was distressed, owner refused to serve her, and when my partner said she was with her and her friends he called my partner a liar, my friend was not drunk, won't be going there again for overpriced cocktails

Nice place just on the main part of Paignton. Staff friendly and helpful and welcoming and lovely atmosphere.. Lots of various cocktails to choose from, they even made up a cocktail I like not on the menu.. We had pizza 🍕 which was really nice and hot.. Plenty of seating inside and outside. They had a part where can sit with mood lighting loved it.. I would recommend and go again for definite.. Everything was so lovely here

We were in Paignton for the day and chose Player's Cocktail Bar for its convenience and outside seating (in the glorious sunshine!) We had coffee which was very good, great service, nice location.

Great Breakfast, extremely good quality ingredients and yet still superb value.

Really nice extensive range of cocktails at £7.50 each or 2 for £12. This price is only during happy hour. Sorry I don't have the times, think it was around 5- 7ish

I went to this bar with a friend and experience dreadful service.The gentleman working seemed to not want to be there.He was constantly on his phone or going outside to smoke.There was no welconing atmosphere and i also found the cocktails served to be very lacking.Very disapointed as i had never been there before and was expecting better.

This bar is in the centre of paighton . The cocktails are strong and good. Pornstar martini was amazing and also the salero cocktail was good . They have live music and outside seating area . Must mention the staff who served us were Olivia Cherry Ryan and Pablo. Great service and friendly.

Awesome little place and the best margarita we have had in a long time. Lovely lady and lively young girl helper too !

Nice clean cocktail bar located on Torbay Road. Reasonably priced with a good range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails on offer, as well as wine and gin offerings. Pleasant young team behind the bar, with a more modern ambience to some cocktail bars. Would definitely recommend popping in if you fancy a slightly different tipple to a pint.

I meet a couple friends here about once a month, always looks clean and tidy inside, staff very friendly and the manager who is lively to chat with, coffee is good, nice strong taste. 😁

What with all the rain on Sunday we thought would treat ourselves to a cocktail. Well Im not sure what you would call this! Its meant to be an expresso martini! My pick of all cocktails at £7.50 i was expecting a lovepy one. It was absolutely dreadful. Just a black coffee with a disgusting taste. Obviously i refused to pay and the score of 1 is for the way the bar girl handled it she dudnt argue at all. Good customer relationship. We paid for Husbands licquer coffee but he could only drink half of it. I can only imagine that the cocktail majer was having a day off! We were off to see james bond and this mqrtini was def not shaken and def not stirred! We wont be going back

Come to players for the first time for lunch whilst on holiday. It was relatively quiet on the Saturday afternoon we went, we ordered a Panini and a milkshake. The food was delicious! Will definitely return in September!

First evening of holiday, early July, everywhere busy and booked up, was struggling to find someone still serving food. Came across Players, very busy outside with drinkers, didn't see anyone eating but nice waiter assured us they were still cooking.Lovely chap made us the best pizza's we have had in ages. We had a cocktail and a beer too. Very nice evening. Think owner must have been sat in the window drinking with friends, he kept telling the waitresses what to do, maybe help them in future when it's so busy?

Was given a free drink for my 40th….problem is I was 37 when I entered. Seriously tho told it was 2 for 12 quid and not aloud to order two and then waited over an hour for a pornstar martini…they totally recommend lol

Popped in on our walk for a quick cocktail, staff were very friendly and the cocktails were amazing! Relaxed atmosphere and no pressure to have food. Would recommend a visit here!

We first popped in to players on the 2nd July to celebrate my 23rd birthday. Didn’t expect much and it only really stood out because it was the best looking place in Paignton for a “fancier” drink. Well, one visit and we were hooked. The night was fabulous, drinks are great and the staff are wonderful! The drinks are a tad pricey, but as city folk they were actually super reasonable for the flavour, quantity and quality. I 100% recommend the Solero if you like something tropical! My partner recommends the purple rain. We loved the night so much we booked a dinner table for 4th July. Well this was the best choice all holiday. We both had pizza (a margherita for me and the meat feast for my partner) and when I tell you this was the best pizza ever… I am not exaggerating. My partner looked at me with a sheer delight in his eyes that I haven’t ever seen before as he told me how this was the best pizza he ever tasted. Again, the staff were perfect; even checking with us about adding extra cheese to make the pizza taste even better. Even though they were busy, we were served with care and attention which was lovely. Even though the Facebook page states they’re closed on a Monday, we took a gamble and walked past tonight (6th July) and YES! Thank you for being open!!! Again, we had a lovely selection of cocktails with 5* service. The staff remembered us (I mean we’d barely spent anytime anywhere else this holiday…) and we felt so at home; even so far away from home. So thanks guys, we CANNOT WAIT to come back… my only improvement would be that you figure out a way to post us pizza and cocktails to Birmingham

We have just spent a day in players after stopping by for one cocktail. I have to say this establishment provides by far the BEST cocktails I have ever consumed, bearing in mind I’ve traveled some. Better than that, Eric the host, provides an outstanding experience, one we shall never forget and always will be grateful for. Don’t get me wrong it’s not the cheapest, but if you’re happy to get what you pay for you will not be disappointed. The cocktails were expertly made and tasted Devine, we sampled about 7 cocktails and I would genuinely struggle to pick a favourite. The strawberry daiquiri and Long Island iced tea are especially strong and delicious. We will return to Paignton just for a day of cocktails, ty Eric and staff. P.s probably the best home made pizza outside of Italy xx

Stumbled upon Player's by accident during a five-night stay in Paignton. Lovely little place. Best crab sandwiches I've tasted. So tasty we dined there twice. Cracking cocktails as well. Nice atmosphere and surroundings. A small establishment which made it feel cosy and welcoming. Professional, friendly, attentive staff as well. Well worth a visit if you find yourself in the area.

Visited this bar 3 times whilst on our holiday in Paignton as the food was so good, fresh produce, freshly prepared. Staff couldn't do enough for you especially the lovely chef who looked and sounded like Fred Sirieix. Great atmosphere, great meal, great experience

So disappointing! Service was alright but food so plain and dry. Maybe alright for cocktails. Just make sure they will explain menu properly cause you might get some extra ingredients in your meals which you didn’t expect.

Had such a lovley family evening meal at players tonight. Delicious cocktails which were on offer and we all loved our food (particularly the mixed sea food salad). Staff were so friendly and helpful. Gutted we are going home tomorrow as would deffo visit again.

Genuinley, they made us feel really welcome and special there. We had loads of yummy cocktails as we worked through the majority of their menu and also through together some off menu ones after the figured out what kind of cocktails we liked. We only planned to go their one night and ended up going every night after we tried it. Do not miss out.

We stumbled on this place by chance and it became our home from home. Only wanted a cappuccino the first day but that in itself was a lovely experience. Thought we would try in the evenings and though a touch expensive the gins and cocktails we had over the week were lovely. The staff are a cut above in being attentive but not intrusive but very friendly. The food we had was also very nice.

We were staying just a few minutes around the corner from Players so ended up having drinks there a few times. We liked the fact we could sit outside, but undercover and watch the world go by. They had a good selection of cocktails, and having tried several, we found them all yummy! They also had a long Happy Hour each day which was 2 cocktails for £12. What is not to like?! Staff were also very friendly and efficient.

Stopped in on Saturday evening for some cocktails, this place is brilliant! We sat outside and the table service was prompt. We had a margarita and long Island iced tea to start, then two more margaritas. The staff were friendly and efficient and we would certainly recommend this place and definitely return if in the area. Thank you for a great experience!

A group of us ranging in age from 38 to 81 meet here dail for Coffee. They serve the best Coffee in town and the staff are fabulous Wouldnt go anywhere else.

Probably the classiest place to get a drink on the main road in Paignton. Friendly staff, stylish decor, good range of cocktails and huge range of gins. Some outside seating. If it had been open every night of the week we’d have probably ended up here every night of our stay, but alas It is not.

What a smashing place food is tasty but the main reason I go is for the 30 different cocktails on sale and gins I am on holiday and i love it staff are lovely especially the young girl that services she is an absolute star very friendly lovely girl well worth a visit if you like cocktails

Stopped here with our granddaughters by chance as there was an outside table available. What a lucky break,we enjoyed a delicious cream tea, fabulous scones! On our next visit the lovely waiter/ barman ( David ) remembered us and what we had ordered. This place is spotlessly clean and we were treated like royalty. We visited several times during our 10 days stay in Paignton and enjoyed several snacks ie toasted sandwiches, pizzas and scones all delicious. And all served by the lovely David.

Thought we'd try this place out as it's a fairly new bar in Paignton. The service was exceptional, prices beyond reasonable and atmosphere was pleasant. I'd consider it the best cocktail bar in Paignton when everything is considered.

We pooped in here after a hectic day and evening at BMAD I was really impressed with the smart Bar really friendly staff and great service It’s a small quieter bar but not crowded with a number of good tables to sit at. It’s great for a chat with friends and of course a cheeky cocktail This is a bar we will return to

The service is fantastic, the crowd it attracts is always a good laugh and a definite must go to if visiting paignton. The coffee is good and cocktails are even better
