Some items were missed off the delivery, despite spending almost £90 when we called them to advise them, they said they would not come back for such a small value item. Additionally my son ordered a chicken tikka biryani which disappointingly he found a long black hair in it. Absolutely disgusting!! When we told the restaurant of this, they said they would not return this evening and would only offer a discount on our next visit. Sadly there won’t be a next visit! Food bright red and full of oil. There are far better Indian restaurants in the local area. Awful customer services. We never leave reviews, but we felt our experience needed bringing to the attention of future customers. Avoid

Decided to order from here as I’m staying on a campsite, which had a curry van on site, but didn’t fancy anything the limited menu, So google came up with this as the closest. Ordered the Littlemoor house special, collected the order ready bang on time , looked at the generous portion size and thought I’ll never eat all that, enjoyed it so much I forgot about my naan and inhaled the lot. One of the best curry’s I’ve ever had, so wish this place was my local.

Ordered an Indian meal to be delivered to our campsite. Everything we ordered was lacking in spices and flavour and dripping in grease. Even the daal, which is a dish that doesn't even require oil. As soon as we opened the lids, we cld tell it was awful just by looking at it. Very poor, don't waste your money.

There was a piece of meat in the sauce of one of our all vegetable dishes. When I informed the manager she did not apologise or show any concern. I was told thet the photo I sent her (that she asked for) did not look like the meat that they serve. I should hope not - it had been chewed and spat out! I suppose contamination is to be expected from an establishment that only has a 3 star food hygiene rating from Environmental Health. Extremely disappointing waste of money. There are far better curries in Weymouth.

I'm down here from Warwickshire on holiday and this lovely place let me and my friends order when it was just about to close and delivered to the park! Really lovely food (better than my local at home!) Friendly people!! Thankyou so much!! Deserved a review!

Great food lovely staff who are happy to help. Ordered on arrival waited about 10mins. Not too expensive and very tasty.

Everything was red. Greasy and lacking in flavour. Nann bread had very little garlic at all. Sheesh kebab was tasteless which is a first. Won’t be going back.

Lovely little takeaway, that caters for Muslims that eat halal food. Nice food made with care that tastes really nice. Although halal is not written on the menu, we managed to talk to the staff who put our minds to rest. Recommended

Been getting a takeaway from different places since I moved over a year ago....found Littlemore spice and haven't ordered from anywhere else ever since. Its the same quality, if not better than chillies, cheaper and better portion sizes. I've lived all around the country and can honestly say, from my experience, it's pound for pound one of the best takeaway curries I have, to date, had. Would highly recommend.

Have driven from Dorchester to Littlemoor Spice on two Saturday lunch times when it was supposed to be open in Dec 23 and Jan 24. Both times there was no sign of life. I have tried telephoning. The phone rings but is not answered. I can only assume the establishment in no longer in business. Very disappointed.

Always delicious food, freshly cooked to order and piping hot. Generous portions a friendly staff. A regular weekly treat for me and Always gets my mouth watering. Delicious is an understatement 😋

Had a takeaway from the Littlemoor. Very pleasant but I guess recipes vary from chef to chef. Our local has a totally different take on similar dishes so wasn’t quite what we expected. Saying that it was very nice.

Small Indian takeaway, great tasting food; had the set meal for 1, which was a nice portion size for one person. Staff polite and friendly, plenty of parking space outside.

Ordered a curry from Littlemore Spice Monday 1st October 23 The curry had so much oil ! Onions were raw ! Pepper were hard ! The worse curry my partner has ever had.

Excellent takeaway, first class meal and delivery.

The worst Indian I have ever tasted. How can a chicken jalfrezi taste the same as a chicken rogan Josh save for the spice element. Both were so red and tasted the same! Garlic and coriander naan very good which is why I gave 1 *. Never will I return.

18 months since my last review and still fantastic. Lamb Madras, Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi and a Chicken Rogan Josh tonight. Did I detect a hint of naga pickle in the jalfrezi? Keema rice as good as anywhere too.

In Weymouth on holiday I tried this place as it was close to where I was staying. The food was absolutely fantastic 1 of the best Currys I've had. Will definitely come here again when I'm next here.

FAULTLESS! Tasty, fresh, hot, generous portions, good value and friendly staff. I always used to decline free popadoms as they were wasted in our house, so deciding to charge customers a small fee for something they are having is perfectly reasonable to me! Best way of reducing wastage and their costs, rather than smaller portion sizes or putting their prices up. Nothing is free in life, they also still offer deals!

We’re currently down on holiday from Scotland. We have now had our second takeaway from here. Both times the food was incredible. Couldn’t really fault a thing!

Will charge you for onion and mint sauce. And won’t send poppadoms, unless you pay for it. New rules. Won’t even ask u, just send it out!! How disappointed

Firstly shame I'm doing this review as it used to be a favourite of mine. Just found out it's new owners and I ordered 7 currys costing 51.60 with a 15% discount for cash. As I took my order to the car I went back and asked for onion salad and mint sauce and was told new owners do not give free salad and mint sauce. Bearing in mind I just made a large order thought this was unusual. I walked out annoyed and rang them to be told that they cannot afford to give free salad and dips but if asked quietly would of got some. Surely spending a large amount most places would not begrudge salad and dips. I cannot comment on food as yet as not tasted but will edit when I have. I will not return here as such a small matter I was made to feel embarrassed. I travelled 8 miles to here as it was a lovely place under previous ownership.

Nice curry, local to me only thing I'd change is the mint sauce other wise perfect.... tried about 6 or 7 dishes. Clean and professional

Ordered a delivery to Waterside Holiday Park - Bowleaze Cove. The delivery arrived well within the estimated delivery time (40mins) and the driver was great - calling me just before she arrived so I could meet her at the security gate. We ordered the Littlemoor Spice House Special which came with pilau rice, Special Chana Chicken Tikka, a plain and garlic naan. The 2 curries were bright red and swimming in oil. This was quite off-putting when we opened the containers. The food was hot, and despite the excess oil, it tasted ok. The spice level was very mild and for me, lacked anything really 'special' for either dish. I had been tempted by the Littlemoor House Special curry as it was described as coming with a boiled egg...ours didn't have the boiled egg, which was a real shame. I wouldn't order the same 2 curries again. I think in a 'blind tasting', you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them - which I hadn't expected given their descriptions. The naan was tasty and a good size. The price for our meal was £31.10 which I think is quite steep. I live in Hertfordshire, and a takeaway from our usual curry place is a lot less (and we usually order the same amount)

The flavour , the service and speed superb, the prawns were sadly very tough but that said….,we would definitely order again on our next holiday but not prawn!

We had a takeaway from here this evening first time of trying this place and the food was brilliant. My Kashmiri was so tasty and the mushroom rice is the best I’ve ever had. My husband had a kebab and chips with curry sauce and he said it was lovely. Not greasy or oily at all. Full of flavour and staff were so very helpful as I paid just eat twice and the shop staff got my payment back. So grateful to them and will be using again.Thank you.

On holiday thought lets not cook grab a takeaway expected holiday curry watery bland i was wrong a fantastic not too spicey madras and tikka masala was nice and tasty . Chicken was nice and fresh will be visiting next holiday the only thing was the wait time but was very busy.

On holiday, we ordered a delivery to the holiday park which was straight forward. Met the driver at the main entrance. He phoned a few minutes before arriving. The food is absolutely delicious 😋 Definitely recommend Littlemoor Spice. We will order again, next time we're in Weymouth.

Bottom line up front: this restaurant took my money, never delivered our food and then washed their hands off it! And it took me over two months to get my money back eventually via a complaint to the bank! Despite having previously had good food from Littlemoor Spice they are UNTRUSTWORTHY and I would NEVER use again. 1 star is arguably being generous for the appalling experience I had… read on for the full story below. What a real shame. We’ve had several really good curries from Littlemoor Spice in the past but unfortunately I have to report a really torrid experience with this take away from back in Sep last year. With a friend visiting, I ordered a take away from Littlemoor Spice via their web site. All good so far and looking forward to their usual tasty food. However, that promise was never to be fulfilled. Approx. 20 minutes after placing the order I received a phone call telling me they no longer used the payment provider on their own web site and that I would have have to pay AGAIN if I wanted my food! Already £40 down and in a state of disbelief I elected to cut my loses and asked for my money back. NOT INTERESTED, the restaurant said they did not have it and I would have to contact the payment provider. WHO? Begrudgingly they gave me a phone number for FoodHub, a Business to Business company who do not deal directly with consumers! With that they were gone, and I was £40 down the pan with no sniff of any food. I’ll spare you details of the pain of getting my money back from FoodHub without any order or contract with them (the several month timeframe and a requirement for bank intervention - well done Chase - illustrate the sorry affair) but please be WARNED: this restaurant do NOT deserve to be trading and I would avoid at all costs. Somewhat jaded by the whole sorry experience, I now only order takeaways either through trusted intermediaries (like Just Eat or Deliveroo) or by cash on delivery. I will also be speaking to Trading Standards to try to save anyone else from being put through the misery of the despicable behaviour of this ROGUE trader. Thanks for nothing, Littlemoor Spice.

Always polite and efficient service, we order every couple of weeks from Littlemoor Spice and they never fail to disappoint! Affordable and lovely big portions, really tasty food.

We enjoyed the takeaway. It was hot and tasty, good prices too. We’ll be back!

I moved to Weymouth from Yorkshire 3 years ago and have eventually found a Indian that is nicer than there amazing food 😀

Excellent food, excellent service Delicious food, with a good range of choices, and excellent service. Portions are generous and are good value. The restaurant was quite busy for a Thursday evening but food arrived in good time. Everything is well organised, spotlessly clean and there is thorough allergen information displayed next to every item on the menu.

We've only just started using Littlemoor Spice, the curry on Christmas Eve was the best we've had from a takeaway in a long time. Full of flavour and totally delicious. Also they are friendly and helpful. Thank you

Just had a chicken vindaloo and my partner had chicken tikka masala. We both really enjoyed our food, decent sized portions, reasonably priced. A little disappointed with the garlic naans, a bit on the small side, (hence the 4 stars), but other than that, very nice.

Absolutely amazing Indian takeaway, I visit Weymouth each and every year but I've never noticed this little gem, the price is great and you get a lot for your money as the portions are huge, I would highly recommend to anyone who likes this type of cuisine... I'll be leaving in the next few day unfortunately but I'll be back next year and I'll definitely be ordering again... Great job well done.

A relatively new business on the littlemoor site. This a great “Indian takeaway” with a substantial menu. The staff are mega helpful giving advice for those less knowledgeable about Indian food. A great food spot.

Have had a couple of deliveries from this place. Food tastes amazing! However it is VERY oily. Let it go the first time, but was at the point where I had to drain the oil from the tub.

Had family down and we all commented that this was the best food we had had from an Indian takeaway in Weymouth. Thank you for delivering to Portesham and the food was piping hot when it arrived here

Well what can I say? From entering the Establishment and ordering our food everything was on point, the lady & Gentleman were friendly, and nothing was too much trouble, the food was absolutely stunning, plus we were given freebie’s for spending so much money, even after travelling 1/2 hour back to our campsite the food was still Hot, I personally would recommend this Indian 100%, and trust me I’ve had a few as I travel the country for work and I’ve had quite a few, ( at least one a week) Paul from Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales

We go here all the time come from Birmingham so we know its a good curry enjoy tried lots in town but not got the spice level like here.

I don’t quite understand the high rating as our food was not at all what you would expect from the same dishes in other Indian establishments. Not good at all. All grease and paste. Judging by the other reviews I must be fussy. Judge for yourself. We had chicken shashlik and chicken saag.

My meal was great but my companion's wasn't.

This is by far the most amazing curry house all the meat is beautifully cooked and the taste is incredible. We had a house large kebab keema chilli narn and two curry’s omg insane honestly nicest thing I’ve ever tasted . The service is great and it’s lovely and clean inside the shop. We as a family love curry and have tried lots in different areas I’m buzzing this is just round the corner as it’s the best I’ve ever had!!! Really nice service and so friendly :-) Told all my friends and family about this they have all visited and said the same! I never write reviews but this is well deserved! I can’t stop telling people it’s about time we had a proper curry shop !

Absolutely disgusted! I rang this place for a chicken masala ,rice and 3 somosus i said I would collect he gave me a price of 19 pound he then asked me where I was coming from I said Weymouth bay holiday park he said he will deliver instead then hung up . He then rand back saying he gave me the wrong price and said it’s 32 pound so I checked his menu and it came to 19 pound so he tried to rob me because he thought I was a tourist I recommend no one gives anymore money to this Thief !😡😡😡

Over priced and not the best quality

Balti and Jazfrezi dishes were really good, very good quality chicken used, and coming from Brum and with 30 years of eating currys I would like to think I know a good one - definitely coming back, staff were lovely too!

Very friendly and 100 percent recommend the food it was one of the best curries I've had and great portion size.

Having spotted that it has a 5* review that swayed our decision. And it didn't disappoint. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Service at pick up was great, would definitely recommend.

What a little gem of an Indian takeaway this is. We ordered from here whilst staying in the area. Food was prepared quickly and the quality was of a very good standard. The dishes had lots of flavour and the chicken was tasty and tender. Portions were large and great value. Well worth a try.

A few days ago I picked up a take away from here for myself and my 2 children. When I got home one of the curries was wrong. It was supposed to be chicken but it was lamb. I’m not sure how they got it wrong as it even had chicken written on the container. I didn’t bother to take it back as we had already waited a long time for it to be made and my son was happy to try the lamb. Unfortunately the meat was very tough, chewy and fatty. The next day both myself and my children had very bad upset stomachs and spent most of the day running to the toilet! I would never have a curry from here again.

My wife has a nut allergy and they were really helpful in making sure none of the food had any nuts in the ingredients. Really friendly and helpful staff and the food was really nice - we really enjoyed it - thank you, next time we are in the area, we will definitely be ordering again👍

1st timers tonight. Family of four with chicken kurma and chips for the kids. The food was very fresh and extremely hot, very generous portions and onion bhaji 's to die for. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Sorry, had no cash to tip the delivery driver. All in all a little piece of heaven.

We ordered two currys one chicken Madras and a lamb Madras on Friday my husband had Bombay potatoes I had rice we both enjoyed the currys so much best we have ever tasted. We also had some samusos and naan bread. The meat in both the currys were so tender. I have recommended your delicious food to my friends and family. We look forward to ordering from you again soon. Excellent food. First time I have ordered from here as not been this side of town long. Nice portions, right amount of heat, keema naan properly stuffed throughout. Went on others ratings, which did not prove me wrong.
