Chutney's in Weymouth and Portland

Staying away for Easter. Found this on Google and what fantastic food. Was absolutely beautiful. Flavours where brilliant. Placed an order at 5pm for 7pm and was ready when I got there. Food was still piping hot when I got back home. Anyone whos not local like me, i went to pay but they only accept cash, luckily I had the cash on me as I don't normally carry cash. Would definitely use again. Thank you for such a great meal.

Ordered for the first time today for home delivery and I have to say this was the tastiest, freshest curry I and the family have eaten in ages. I will definitely order again. I had the meat Dupiaza, the rest of the family had Korma, Tikka Masala and a garlic chilli T/Masala with Pilau and Keema rice. Delicious!

Food was very nice and service was fantastic. The delivery driver was very polite and friendly. However one gripe was that the chicken madras was very Plain and zero spice at all. When ordering a madras you kind of expect it to be Fairly Hot! 🔥 but other than this the restraunt was amazing. My recommendation would be if you like your currys hot or at least with a little spice ask for them to pep it up. We will be back thank you! 😁

The food here is reasonable, the chilli chingri starters was fantastic prob one of the best starters I have ever had. The only issue was that the madras was a little flavour-less, a bit salty and not spicy (I'm not one for really hot curries but this is supposed to be a spicy curry). I would use next time I'm here for sure.

The food is AMAZING… we have been going for years, then it closed, and we were gutted, because the food was amazing, then a friend of mine told me that it has reopened, so now we have had a takeout most weekends! What we love is the small dishes, definitely recommend!!! 5*

I'm from East London and whenever I visit Weymouth I always get my curries from Chutneys, having tried others which just aren't up to scratch. Like the lovely people who cook up the curries, I'm also Bangladeshi, so I have a fair idea of exactly how each dish should taste. Chutney's curries are simply SUPERB and I sincerely wish they were in my part of East London so that they could teach all the disgraceful "curry" houses their how to create authentic (and therefore delicious) dishes.

Visiting family. Ordered for the 1st time. What can I say. Absolutely loved it. Food was very tasty and cooked fresh. It was delivered in good time and hot. Will definitely recommend.

Visiting Weymouth tried Chutneys very pleased best Pathia I have had. Rice and nann bread very good, only odd thing don't take card in shop will go back on next visit.

Chutneys closed for renovation and has not reopened. No sign of any work being carried out.

Used to love this place. The last twice I've rang for a delivery they don't answer the phone. Tried for 30 minutes on both occasions, what's going on with my go to Indian?

Order 2 chapatis got one and the smallest chapati I ever seen Order 1 roti the smallest roti I seen Order 2 lamb madras tasteless wood never recommended this place 2 anyone.

Was a little apprehensive about trying here but looked at the reviews and seemed okay. I have to say that this is now our favourite takeaway. The Tikka Massala, Chicken Shaslick and garlic rice is amazing! Brilliant to actually get free poppadoms as well, definitely will be using more in the future!

One of the best places for indian cuisine.. Zak and team are upto the mark. Though the order was of short notice, they delivered the food piping hot and on time. Ll order in future as well.. highly recommended..

Staff are very friendly I was very Cautious as im such a picky and fussy eater, and only one other Indian cuisine has met my standards. While on holiday and 190 miles from my normal takeaway, I tried this and all I can say is wow it was amazing I rate it 10/10. Happy customer.

Living in the Midlands, we're spoilt with a wide selection of high quality takeaways. So, how does Chutneys compare??? Amazing. Great food, great friendly service from Zak and team and so highly recommended. 10/10 and Well worth a visit in my view.

Excellent meal this evening from Chutneys. Only here in Weymouth for a couple of nights and didn’t want to eat in the hotel. As always, looked on Trip Advisor for the best place nearby and was not disappointed. Varied menu and reasonably priced. Food was delicious, better than our local!!

Normally go chillis but as they are shut i thought i would try here. I can honestly say its just as good as if not better than chillis. Recommend

I live locally and the first time having a takeaway from Chutneys & can honestly say I was very pleased, the meal for 2 deal is great value for money. Great tasting dishes and the portions were outstanding. Highly recommend.

First time ordering and we were not disappointed! The food was brilliant, and unlike many other Indian take-aways there was also plenty of chicken in our curry's too! Portions were a generous size and all fairly priced. Would definitely recommend (:

Spur of the moment visit to Weymouth and didn’t want to eat out, so opted for a takeaway. Chutney’s did not disappoint. I had a chicken Shashlik and JB had a chicken biryani. Hot, tasty, perfectly spiced and good sized portions too. The staff were cheerful and friendly. They don’t take credit cards, but there is a cash point just across the road. Will definitely go back for more.

I am always worried about ordering Indian food as I’ve had so many poor curries in the past(mainly in Bristol where we live). I ordered a jalfrezi but asked for it to be vindaloo hot and it was perfect! The chicken was great quality and it was very tasty and hot as I wanted. My partner had the chicken Ceylon-he said it was lovely although the chicken was not the best quality unlike mine. We had onion bhajee which were lovely and he also had plenty prawn puri which was delicious. The rices and keema naan were also excellent. At £30 it was very reasonably priced-it would have been at least £40 in Bristol and likely no where near as good. Will definitely be ordering from here again when we come back to Weymouth

Ordered a takeaway for delivery and Just Eat was forcing me to schedule the food for the next day despite the fact Chutney's was open and accepting orders. I phoned and they were extremely helpful making alternative arrangements and allowed us to have paneer curries despite paneer not being listed. The food was delicious - we had Onion Bhajis, a variety of naan breads, rice and 4 paneer curries.

Lovely food, delivered well within allocated time. Delivery bloke amazing, so honest, knocked on my door to let me know I had over paid after tip by ten pounds. Tried to phone chutneys to tell them how impressed I was but no answer obviously very busy, no surprise with the wonderful food and service

Had a great chicken tikka masala and a chicken balti. Stayed at the nearby Premier Inn and Chutney’s delivered very quickly to me. Highly recommended.

In my opinion this is the best indian food for takeaway to get in Weymouth. Tried other places before, it is always really nice, arrives hot and well seasoned, fruity and fresh made. Meat chunks could be a tiny bit smaller, but therefore there are plenty in it. Rice is also large. The deals are a great option and always come with a few poppadoms, onionsalad, chutney and mint yoghurt.

A real gem, don't be put off by appearances. Food is tasty and freshly prepared, wide choice of dishes. Thoroughly recommended.

We are on holiday here and thought we would take a chance on takeaway, we are so pleased we did ! The food was excellent quality, the flavour was exceptional and delivery time was spot on ! We will definitely use again when we are next in Weymouth and we will recommend to friends and family A1 !

Amazing takeaway in Weymouth! Was delivered hot and just amazing tastes! The mushroom rice is the best ever and hubby had the Dhansak and said it was very good! Overall the best Indian dinner I’ve had for a long time and cannot wait to order again!The driver was polite and lovely!

Absolutely beautiful food, we always have an Indian takeaway while on holiday in Weymouth, this year our usual one was closed, so we used Chutney's instead. Fair to say this will be our new curry house while on holiday! Just a shame its 135miles away or we would be using it weekly!

Another excellent meal from Chutneys. Large hot portions, delivered on time by friendly drivers. My chicken sag was excellent. I asked for extra hot and wasn't disappointed. Don't bother looking anywhere else for a takeaway.

Really love the curries much more choice than from a standard Indian Menu, we asked for a Ginger Chicken Pepper Fry which isn't on the menu, my goodness its amazing. You can even have a small portion if you fancy !

After 2 awful takeaways whilst on holiday, finally found one that is amazing (awful ones are Coriander in Bridport and Safar in Axminster) After a day on the beach, decided to call, and so glad we did!! Got the mid week special, a chicken tikka Rezalla and for just £20!! Just gorgeous

We had a lovely take away from here, and it is great value for money. The chef's special Garlic Chicken is fantastic- I usually don't deviate from my favourite meals but on this occasion I took a risk that paid off. Arrived quick and hot.10/10 will order again next time I want a takeaway.

Tasty and delicious, they even remember what we have even though we've only just started going (and don't go that often!) You can use your own bag to collect too which saves a bit of plastic - every little helps, Do One Thing Daily!

Fancied a change from the hotel food so paid a visit to Chutneys Indian Takeaway. Very reasonably priced. I ordered Onion Bhajis, Chilli Meat Tikka, Chicken Dhansak, Naan and Pilau rice. Very tasty and good reasonable prices. Quick service too. They only take cash.

similar to the lottery, one week food is spot on, next food order, a waste of money. sloppy, food average, might taste good after ten pints of scrumpy. staff extremely polite.

We used to go elsewhere but experienced bad food so thought we’d try Chutneys for a takeaway as they offer delivery. Delivery was prompt and arrived when they said. Extremely good value for money with great flavour and taste. Will definitely be ordering again.

Everyone says that their local curry house is the best, and now the people of Weymouth can actually claim, with confidence, that their local is the best. I’ve eaten curries all over the world, and I’m a huge fan of lemon rice, but guess what....these guys do lemon AND ginger rice and it’s truly awesome (actually better than that, but I’d have to use 50 words for how good it is). I had a great Dansak, my wife loved her Dupiaza, and we shared the marvellous meat samosas. People of Weymouth I applaud you for having the actual best local curry house in the UK. Well done!

We had a delivery from Chutneys this evening. This is the third time we have used this restaurant. The delivery was on time and the driver very pleasant. The food is AMAZING! So tasty, so special and so hot, temperature! We will be using this company again and be recommending it to our friends.

Last week we ordered the set meal for 2 for £13, It was lovely. The portion sizes were big and there was enough left over for lunch the next day. There currys were full of big pieces of good quality meat and the onion bagjis were the best i have had in a long time. We collected our food and it was all piping hot even after the 20 min drive home.

Well, it's our loss because last night we had a Chutneys takeaway for the first time and it was fabulous!

Flavour wizards work here. Been to most Indian takeaways and restaurants in weymouth if there's a choice on Indians, this is the one I keep coming back too. It's always good. ordered recently I watched the guy tally up the bill (I seen £26) he scratched it out and told me £20. I gave the guy 25 because I already withdrew £30(and I worked it out to be 26£ too) , the chap behind the counter politely asked why I insisted even though he told me the bill was only 20. I told him I never had a bad curry here and although a fiver wasnt going to buy them all a beer, the curry is worth it. Don't bother reading other reviews, Give it a try, I hope your as pleasantly surprised as I was.

We live just around the corner from Chutney's, we have been there a few times. The staff are very friendly and always remember us (even though I wouldn't say we're regulars).

We recently moved to Weymouth and wanted to find an Indian takeaway equal to what we were used to where we loved before. Lucky we found Chutneys after only trying one other.

Very nice Indian food at a reasonable price. Nan breads a bit small. Takeaway only. Large menu with plenty of vegetarian choice. Friendly staff. Unfortunately delivery only in a very limited area.

Lovely food, phoned up places order, told be ready in 30mins for pick, arrived 25mins later and it was ready. Food was very nice, will be using for sure next time we are in Weymouth.

Los mejores curries honestamente en Weymouth, y he probado todos los otros lugares como he vivido aquí durante 17 años. Ninguna otra casa de curry ha perfeccionado todo en su menú con sabores tan preciosa y auténticos platos de degustación. El Pollo Tikka Bengala es mi favorito aunque actual cambiará, ya que no hay muchas opciones. Yo uso Chutney's sobre una base regular (la tentación de tomar uno esta noche jajaja) como yo vivo no muy lejos. La comida perfecta cada vez y amable personal, ¿qué más se puede pedir?

Disfrutamos de este llevar mucho fue el mejor que hemos tenido en mucho tiempo teníamos un madras y los sabores y el calor eran perfectas! Las guarniciones llena de sabor y el pickle lime agradable y macizos se nos pegaba de chutneys!

Not the best. The mains had plenty of texture and meat but lacked spicy flavour and were way too sweet. The keema nan contained a thin layer of meat with no flavour. The paneer saag all cheese and very little spinach. I normally love the mint sauce, this had a parculiar colour with an overwhelming garlic taste. In summary acceptable meal but scoring only average.

Well I have just had a chicken balti from here and it had so much salt in it that I could not eat it at all. I have allergies and too much salt does not help. My mum had to share her Bhuna with me. I won't be ordering from here again

Food was really tasty, really well seasoned with a perfect amount of spices! Got a free 2litre bottle of sprite as well... been before and I'll go again! Highly recommend

We had 5 main dishes and none tasted the same unlike some you might try. Each dish full of flavour individual requests for varying heat or flavours spot on. A must try.

Rented a cottage in Osmington near Weymouth and tried to find an indian take out to deliver to us. Reviews on this place were average so I was really surprised how good it was. Good price, very tasty sauces in each of the dishes and even ordered again 2 days later! Well done guys keep up the hard word.

I'd like to say that this was probably the best takeaway Indian meal I've ordered in Weymouth. We had a rogan Josh & a naga wich was perfect. The extras were lovely also although I'd prefer more than 2 samosas when ordering a starter but same everywhere in Weymouth. All in all a very nice meal and will definitely go back and order again.

I had tried all of the take aways in Weymouth, and wasn't really impressed, until CHUTNEYS opened, wow what a breath of fresh air, the food is ALWAYS spot on, we have a takeaway from here most weeks, trust me, don't go anywhere else this is the BEST!! Good Value, prompt delivery, pretty standard Asian cuisine. Spoiled by the 10 inch black hair in the food. The mint / yoghurt sauce was odd too, very bright green in colour and tasting of alcohol. I think it may have fermented ......

not the best indian we had ever had the sauses where not very tasty and the nan bread was burnt my partner and i was very dissapointed perhaps it was a off nite and we did order early we might try again if we are hungry

I have been a regular since this opened, the food is always fantastic very well cooked and their nan bread is to die for, free bottle of coke with a larger order if you collect as well, Highly recommended.
