We stayed at weymouth bay and ordered from here, They delivered to the gate where we met them. The food was fantastic! The prawn cocktail starter had soooo many prawns in, i was in awe, The meat in the mains were tender and very yummy. The complementry Onion salad and sauces were lovely too. Didnt get too much taste from the onion naan though but the overall meals were delicious. If we didnt have little ones we would of defiantly dined in. Thanks for the best meal on our holiday.

Foods, service and inside interior are best by my opinion and experience. Foods are presented very nicely and waiters are very kind to the customers. Hot towels are provided after meal. Also they provied a complimentary shorts and a chocolate at the end. As the location is in heart of the town, it's a great place to dine in.

Great food, would go there again. It was a quiet evening and staff were nice and being trained.

Lovely food but food was delivered too early requested 6.30pm came at 6.07pm only annoying as was waiting for guest to arrive as said food was coming at 6.30pm

Today we had a wonderful evening as a family eating at Weymouth Tandoori.We were warmly welcomed by Jamal and his team with water on the table ready. The poppadoms were quickly served with pickle, onion salad and mango chutney. As a family we chose to share mixed kebab as an appetiser which was so tasty with a dipping sauce that was delicious. For main, between us, we had malaya, ceylon and dansak currys with pilau rice and peshawari and garlic Naan. The whole meal was delicious with lots of flavour, creamy and plenty of meat and great portion size. Overall a lovely curry house with kind, helpful staff. We will definitely be returning

Food was cold to touch and popadoms were all smashed due to poor handling of our food not to say the food was mediocre at best

Instructions left ordering on-line were not done. The rice on a Tandoori Chicken Biryani used to be really red which was lovely. They seem to have stopped this now? Otherwise, very nice.

Lovely restaurant, great food and fantastic service. Ordered ahead and food was ready promptly when we arrived. Plenty of choices on the menu all cooked to perfection. Jamal was a great host, cannot recommend highly enough.

Once more, we travelled to Weymouth. I went to Weymouth Tandoori, and the meal was flavourful and the service was polite. It has a cosy, welcoming vibe. Overall, a pleasant place to have a relaxed supper.

We had a delicious dining experience, I'm vegetarian and my husband isn't but we both loved it. The service was excellent.

On the positive side, the food and company were good. On the downside, the whole place needs a good clean. The menus were sticky and smelly, as were the wine glasses. The floor and toilet upstairs are very sticky and the toilet flush didn't work. There is no accessible toilet. In the end, the staff added a ten per cent service charge that wasn't labelled as that causing great confusion to us as a group trying to pay. I won't be returning in a hurry.

Weymouth Tandoori is a classic curry establishment. It doesn't try and be something that it not and serves honest classic curries. It was a great experience all around.

After reading the reviews on Google we decided it was worth a try. On entering a polite staff member greeted us and showed us to a table although we didn't previously book. I noticed other people speaking highly about the place when we sat down and this helped make the atmosphere delightful. The food was prepared quickly and came out very hot. The Tikka Masala was exceptionally good, the whole experience was alot better then my thoughts after reading the reviews online. It's got a homley feel to the place and the staff are very attentive. Would I recommend this place ? Absolutely I'm sure I will be going again soon

Little bit disappointed, always order from here on the online service normally amazing and with us in 25 mins. Tonight we ordered at 5:03 on the online service website. Thinking it had all gone through and the money came out of my bank, an hour later and still no food. Gave them a call and the man explained the server is down and there isn’t much he can do. Then it came through and he said would be 40 mins, this was at 5:52 it didn’t arrive until 6:50. Nearly 2 hours of a wait altogether for our food.

I recently dined at Tandoori Weymouth and had a very disappointing experience. We ordered two egg fried rice, two naan breads, and two beers. Unfortunately, the egg rice had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the vegetable curry was equally off-putting. When I raised my concerns with an older gentleman at the restaurant, I was met with indifference. To make matters worse, we were charged an £11 service fee. I expressed that, as i works in a five-star hotel, I know we have the right to choose whether to pay a service charge based on our experience. The service was slow, taking an hour for our food to arrive. When we inquired about the delay, the waiter said the kitchen was busy due to a large group, which didn’t seem like a satisfactory explanation. In the end, we ended up eating only naan bread, as the other dishes were inedible. After eating the egg rice, I became quite ill that night and experienced severe vomiting (i am pregnant). This is actually only the second review I’ve ever written in my life, and I had no intention of doing so. However, the combination of poor food quality and unhelpful service compelled me to share my experience. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and makes necessary improvements.

Food was below average, we ordered two lots of onion bhaji but only received one costing me just under £10 and they were barely edible! Try a different venue!

They just forgot one of our rices but then again we had many sides with their meal deal thing. So not a complaint

Just ordered a delivery via the website. Ordered £40 of food and unfortunately all turned up just warm. Lamb was hard as cold, prawns in curry were over cooked and chewy, poppadoms were soggy and wouldn't snap. Seems as though food sat for a while before being delivered. Called restaurant to see what they could do about it and said we couldn't return food, or no partial refund could be offered because we ordered through their own website and not with cash. Will never order again due to the customer service. If the food was hot it probably wouldn't be that bad!

Ordered at 6:24 pm and it arrived at 8:45pm. Bad customer service on the phone and very rude staff who hung up on me when I tried to get help with the order! Although, the delivery person was polite. The food was horribly cold as if it had been sitting around for a long time. Very disappointed with this company.

ordering was easy, I am able to put instructions to how spicy I want my food and the young man who delivered my food was lovely, he interacted with me and my friend and we had a laugh with him. Had a meal here Friday evening. The food was fantastic, the garlic chilli chicken was top notch. The service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and tidy. When the bill came I was very surprised at the great value for money , we had starters, mains , rice , naans and drinks and the bill was very very reasonable. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend 👌

Had a tandoori mixed grill takeaway. Absolutely delicious. Would order again tomorrow! The chicken tikka masala & lamb pasanda were also highly recommended by my family.

Food was nice and plentiful. Service was fine if a little slow (but we weren’t in a rush so not a problem). Only real complaint was the way the bill was added up, it didn’t matter how I looked at it I couldn’t make it the same amount as waiter. It was like he just plucked a number out of his head!! Something to be wary of.

We were a group of three Norwegians and was excited to experience the notorious British/Indian fusion... A mumbeling waiter asked us about 20 questions regarding our order even though we were very short and simple with it. The result was 3 different courses with the same taste and a culinary attitude of a tin can. The 2 star was for the aquarium. P.S the chairs are better at Guantanamo Bay

Food is the best Indian in Weymouth downtown IMHO, and we are thankful for that and the biryani was very good.....but, that said, it is still the best of a bad job... Weymouth is in dire need of a top drawer Indian.

First visit for many years , disappointing return , vindaloo was more madras . To be honest not the Indian experience I neither wanted or expected .

We visited Weymouth and found Weymouth Tandoori whilst there, and so glad we found it! Was a busy Saturday night and the food and service was brilliant. I ordered a chicken shashlik and it was one of the nicest I've ever had! We will definitely return on future trips to Weymouth

Another great curry from this restaurant

Having lived in west London most of my life, I was spoiled for choice when it came to Indian restaurants, and when I moved to Weymouth I saw saddened with the choice of Indian restaurants in the area, However last Saturday that all changed, I joined a group of men I used to work with for a meal at the Great Weymouth tandoor which I didn’t know existed, as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and directed round to the table that was reserved, the service team where polite, had massive smiles and kept the drinks flowing, then came the food, well my gosh, you could taste the difference in each deliacy, from the sweet to the spicy from the veg to the meat, you could taste the love in each mouthful. I fully recommend the great Weymouth tandoori to all, great service, amazing food and happy prices. Take it from an ex west Londoner, you eating like a king if you eat a great Weymouth tandoori.

Haven’t reviewed for a while and have been a few times recently. Nothing changes, great food and service. We had our favourite of Nargis kebabs and I had a chicken tikka phindi naga which was just so tasty. Also had a cheese nan which was great. Always my go to Indian in Weymouth, you can’t beat it!!

worse food I've ever had , was l late and freezing cold to start with. food wasn't as described. wasn't tiger prawns as described, frozen onion bhaji , mix kebabs more like 3 small chew bits of meat , most of it was oily unedable gruel !! just avoid

Ordered a takeaway early on a Saturday evening as we were staying nearby at first we thought it was a bit pricey although after eating it’s clear you get what you pay for The food was lovely the portions were big and I would definitely visit again I couldn’t recommend thus restaurant highly enough

Without doubt this was the worse curry I have ever eaten. It started positive, poppadoms were fresh and accompanied with spicy dips. We ordered chicken biryani, which was no more than a plate of rice and an insipid pale sauce, totally tasteless, the chicken buna was from the same batch of sauce as the biryani, tasteless, bland and awful. When we tried to explain our displeasure we were informed it depends on the chef on the night who is cooking - unbelievable !!. I do not like leaving such a negative review, but customer be aware.

This restaurant has been going for many many years and I have eaten in and used takeaway service countless times. Dined in this evening with some friends and we ordered three curries, three rice dishes, two sides and two breads, which was more than enough for four of us. Every single dish was delicious, we were all stuffed but kept picking as was too good to leave. The restaurant is really well decorated and very cosy and the service is excellent. Best Indian restaurant in Weymouth.
