Superb food at a reasonable price.

Ordered poppadoms, then decided not to go for a starter but to just order mains. Ordered tandoori mix grill and chicken shaslick, with a side order of pilau rice and Bombay alloo. So not a hugely complicated order in my opinion. After 40 minutes someone came over to say that the meal would be ready soon but that tandoori takes a long time to cook! After another 25 minutes the tandoori mix grill turned up, another wait then the chicken turned up, another wait then the rice and potatoes turned up. Had to ask about the madras sauce that was also ordered. In fact some people who came in after us had their starters and mains and left before us. Don’t think please and thank you are part of their vocabulary, some of the waiters could do with customer service training. And someone should tell the young man who took our order that speaking to customers with a cocktail stick hanging out of the side of his mouth doesn’t leave a good impression. Reading through some of the reviews others were impressed, maybe we were just unlucky! Would we eat there again? NO!

Chef moaned at having us come in at 9.30 . Gave us drinks then was surprised when we wanted to order food . Food was ok . Found the bedroom up the corner a bit creepy...

Been to the Everest 4 times in recent months, food is top class and probably one of the best currently in Weymouth, food hot and very tasty. If you like Vindaloo its cooked with spices and not just chilli, well recommended.

Visited this place with a mate who, like me really loves a curry. We weren’t disappointed, this Nepalese restaurant had some dishes I’d never seen before. I had A lamb dish that melted in the mouth and the sauce was the perfect heat. Everything was extremely tasty and will definitely return. Highly recommended .

I’m sorry to have to have given one star as there was no option for zero. We went last night and had the worst Indian meal we’ve ever had. There was no taste to the chicken Tikka massala and the lamb passanda tasted like cooked milk and they forgot the sag aloo. The best bit of the whole meal was the poppadoms. The service was so slow it was almost non existent and the person taking payment must have known how bad it was because he was hanging his head and couldn’t look us in the eye. I can’t believe how bad an experience we had having read some of the reviews. A total waste of £100. Maybe we were in a parallel universe.

My wife and myself were on a two day stay at Weymouth and had a superb meal at this restaurant. My lamb dish was tender and beautiful and the same goes for my wife's chicken dish. First time customer at this place. Menu looked interesting staff were friendly ordered a lamb madras which was the worst I have ever tasted. I have been eating currys for 30 years and this one was tasteless.. I also ordered a lamb karia which was OK but again not the best I've tasted. The sag paneer was extremely dry with not much flavour. No fresh coriander on any of the dishes. I had to ask for onion salad and dip I thought this was free with orders over 20 pounds. I would rate the whole meal 2 out of ten. Hopefully management take note of this. UPDATE Thank you for your response regardless of how late I was collecting this would not make a difference to the taste. I have worked in Indian restaurants for years as a delivery driver as you must be aware Friday and Saturday popular dishes like ctm, korma, veg curry, pilau rice, special fried rice and bombay aloo are kept in a warmer cooked in advance. Also dishes like I ordered are cooked and kept in heater to be collected. The flavour was not there very dry sag paneer. As for the dips I spent over 20 pounds it is sad. Disappointing experience - went for dad's birthday. Got a drink after 30 minutes and getting up three times to ask for someone to serve us. Sat there for an hour waiting for someone to come and take an order. Didnt happen, which was very disappointing. They seem to be doing a lot of take aways, and were busy. Which I get. But don't get people in and ruin their evenings if you don't have capacity to serve. Someone came in after us, and had the same experience. No acknowledgement, just a shrug of shoulders.

Couldn't take order for 1hr. Left the restaurant "hungry". Settled with take away from another restaurant. :(

My husband & I came to Weymouth on Saturday & accidentally found the Everest Lounge. What a find! We hadn't booked but were greeted in a warm & friendly manner. The food was fantastic. My chicken Mo Mo to start & Lounge Sea Bass main, were gorgeous. Such fresh, clean tasty flavours. This is the best I've had. My husbands food was equally as good. We can't wait to try it again next time we're in Weymouth. Thank you from Karen & Mike

Sorry guys but friendly staff does not make up for tasty food. The Biryani and Chicken tikka massala, were pretty bland. You can get far better elsewhere. An empty restaurant at 8.30pm says it all I'm afraid

We went there for our anniversary on a Monday evening as we were staying in the area ,I don't usually bother with reviews but the service food and atmosphere was excellent they had a couple of trainees working that night and they were most attentive and made for a very enjoyable evening we left very happy and satisfied great value for the money we have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant .

Well, the food was lovely but I'm afraid our experience was blighted by the terrible service. We ordered 6 beers and only 3 came. We had to ask to get the other 3. Our table was booked for 8pm but we weren't eating our mains until after 9.30pm. Generally things were very slow and clunky. The table next to us had poppadoms then their food never came so they just left. My guess is that there was something up that night; perhaps staff shortages or technical issues. However nobody communicated anything to us so we were just left to guess and hope. If someone had come to let us know what was going on, we'd have felt a lot better about it. Great food unfortunately doesn't make up for this sort of disregard for paying customers.

The mains took a little longer to arrive but it was well worth the wait. My partner loved the vegetable samosas and the vegetable biriyani in combination with the garlic and coriander naan bread. I ordered a chicken balti which was lovely and the service was excellent.

Worst food I've ever had in my life. The food is neither Indian nor Nepalese. The paneer dish we ordered had too much sugar in it. Chickpeas were extremely dry and half boiled with no taste at all. Noodles had too much salt. Don't bother eating here if you like Indian food. This restaurant just gives a bad name to Indian cuisine

Absolutely stunning service. From the outset, the greeting and service was outstanding. The food arrived swiftly, the quality was fabulous and the staff training was clearly evident. The manger took the time to talk to us whilst taking our order which came out very quickly, and the quality was really good. Pretty much the best curry I’ve ever had.

When I was told we were having curry I wasn’t to excited but when you saw the inside it was beautiful. They have a large selection of food and drinks on the menu and they had relaxing music which made the meal much better. The people who worked there were really nice and polite. I didn’t think the toilet was the best but it wasn’t horrible. The meal was lovely and the drinks where very nice as well. The wait for the food wasn’t that long and we had a starter to share out plus drinks before the food came. This was a feeding of 7 and was £166 but i think it’s worth the price. I would definitely recommend coming to this restaurant. Thank you for reading.

My partner and I visited yesterday and was met by very friendly waiters who took us to our table. We ordered the lamb shank rogan josh and lamb shashlik. Sides were plain naan, saag aloo and onion bhaji. On the lamb shank, the flavours were all there. The sauce had a nice texture a sweetness from the onions, followed by a bit of a kick at the end. However, the lamb shank itself was a little bit on the tough side. Trying to cut into it was making the sauce flick up on the white table cloth which was a bit irritating because I hate leaving stains on there. Overall, I think it was nice, It also came with a lovely jasmine rice which was flakey and cooked to perfection. The sides were really good. The saag aloo in particular was delicious and the onion bhaji was crispy on the outside and nice and soft in the middle, just the way it's supposed to be. My partners dish, which was the lamb shashlik was a bit disappointing. We eat out at a lot of Indian restaurants and this is the first time that the shashlik didn't arrive on a sizzling tray where the onions and peppers continues caramelise at the table. But once she tried to cut into the lamb the sizzling tray was the last of her worries. It was extremely tough and dry. One thing that I did notice was that every single plate was extremely hot which means it was probably sitting under a heating lamp for some time. Also, I found that the food took a little longer than expected to come out as the restaurant was not very busy at the time. When we asked for the bill there was an extra meal added to the receipt which a lamb rogan josh. I called the young waiter over and told him, who then took it to the manager, who then chased it up with the chef. It was a bit of a mess but was all cleared up soon after. Would I come again if I was to visit Weymouth? Absolutely! I think there are some areas to improve on, but the friendliness of the waiters and the flavours of the meal were all there. The young light curly haired lad in particular was very attentive and friendly.

Great food - each dish was distinctly unique, full of flavour and clearly had a lot of attention paid to the ingredients and spices. Nepalese dishes were a nice twist and the cocktails were spot on. This is a new team trying something a bit different and I will definitely return.

Can't fault the food ,however the service was another thing. we sat down at our table and 20 minutes later we still hadn't been asked what we wanted to drink let alone what we wanted to eat.i had to call over a young boy and ask for drinks.we eventually got to order our foodbut my plate of lamb madras was brought out to me and 5 minutes later my partner food was served to her we then had to wait a further 4-5minutes for my chips&rice .the chips had to be fetched from tescos which you would of thought you may of had in firstly.our first time eating here and possibly the last I'm afraid

Placed an order which never turned up. When we phoned to enquire where it was as it was late we were told that it was 'on it's way.' We became suspicious because initially the lady on the phone said that they were not aware of our order but someone else came on the phone and reassured us and said it had just left and was on its way. It failed to arrive... we phoned again and we were asked if we would like the meal cooked, this was an hour after we should have received it. Mistakes happen however it's not ok to say food is on its way when it isn't. When the boss asked his staff who had told us this they all denied speaking to us. Really, really poor customer service. Really disappointed as we were looking forward to the food having seen the other reviews.

I always find it hilarious when people leave 5 star reviews even after saying the service was slow. Slow service does not equal perfect service. After ordering from Everest Lounge and bar at 19.50 on their website, we were told via email confirmation that our order would be here at 20 30. It's now 21.22 and I am eating hopes and dreams for dinner. What fantastic service and care for their customers. Not. To make matters worse they proceeded to tell us in phone call one to chase the order that they didn't have am order from our address, before someone else took the phone and said ah yes no its on the way. Needless to say our suspicions were raised. Still we gave them 15 minutes to prove that it was on the way, did it arrive of course not. So to phone call two to chase the order. These masters of deception proceeded to tell us that the printer was not working so they could start cooking now. Erm what? From being accused of never placing an order to being told we were lying. What a disappointment as based on the positive reviews I had expected so much more.

Excellent service in stylish surroundings. We had a Nepali favourite of momo's to start, they transported us back to time with friends in Nepal. We followed up with Kathmandu style lamb and a Gurkha style chicken both great dishes. We would highly recommend this restaurant whether you live in the area or are visiting. A little gem of a find.

What a lovely restaurant. Went for a meal to celebrate my son's 21st birthday. The food was fabulous and the warm friendly and welcoming staff made sure we had a great time. Will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone who enjoys high quality food with excellent service.

Lamb Gurkha curry was mutton in oil. Had broccoli in it too?? Who ever heard of a lamb curry with broccoli. Our other curry was bland and disappointing

Discovered this place by accident (walking past) and having lived in Nepal decided to try it. We were not disappointed. Nice atmosphere, decor not OTT, friendly staff and food that was fantastic and authentic (proper Nepali, not just copycat Indian). The Mo.Mo took us right back to Nepal - definitely recommend it.

An excellent Indian/Nepalese restaurant but hiding its light under a bushel. Nothing outside to say it is somewhere to go 'for an Indian'. I pointed this out to the manager (an excellent ex Gurkha) who says he will take steps to change the signage. We had excellent meals (lamb shank cooked Nepalese style) and chicken in a mango sauce.Recommended.

Very pleased to have finally found an excellent take away/delivered meal in an Asian style. Food very tasty and great flavour - not too over powering and more importantly tastes even better the following day for lunch. Very nice food delivered on time.

Luckily, there were no reservations at a popular indian restaurant in the resort. My wife and I have visited many asian restaurants all over the country whilst on mini breaks. This is by far the best food tasted. The owner is a proud Ghurka and very friendly and welcoming. His curries clearly use the best ingredients and are served with pride.

We ate here as a family with teenagers on an early evening week night. Service was friendly, food was delicious. They serve the usual Indian standard curries plus Nepalese specials. My husband regularly eats vindaloos but said the one served here was the best he had ever eaten!There is also a kids menu (non curry) available for younger children. We would definitely eat here again in preference to other similar restaurants in Weymouth.

After a booking error our party of 4 had no dinner reservations on a Saturday night and everywhere seemed fully booked, we took a walk and came across the Everest.Well it was meant to be. Well presented restaurant, Friendly polite staff, amazing choice of food, everything we ordered was delicious. 100% going back there next time we are in weymouth.

Arrived for our booking on Thursday evening. Only people in the restaurant at the time. Service excellent. Food was good. Met friends next day, booked table for Saturday night. Food excellent, however service was slow, inadequate due to possible training of staff! Considering we have been locked down for a while, this is not an excuse for poor service where wrong food is delivered, one serving at a time. I would recommend the food without hesitation. Problem was solved once the owner came to the rescue and all ended well.

Squid ring starter, 55mins later, cold, hard,overcooked with handful cheap salad mix. Sent back, no explanation or apology. Man comes off street, orders takeaway, served in 15 mins. This continues Three lots of diners, complained We paid for our drinks only, left and had a lovely 5* meal at Ming Wah opposite. Hopefully they will get their act together or the posh chairs will have been a waste of money. The only review is misleading as you could not eat in , in March as stated.Shame.

Website states delivered at 20.15 - actually delivered 21.25. All food cold. Spoke to restaurant who claimed driver on way at 20.55. When driver arrived he blamed it on traffic. Will never use Just Eat or this restaurant again. Would like a full refund but can't see that happening.

Found bronze brillo metal in food...... very UNHAPPY. HOPEFULLY Doesn't put me in hospital serious safety measures needed

Nice Indian Restaurant.. Delicious food and excellent service.. I had a take away and it was great. I was looking for good Indian food in Weymouth and this place is great..
