Got the Jamican chicken burger. Was bloody unreal. Guy serving was really nice would recommend. Trip down memory lane for myself couldn't recommend enough!

My wife and I had amazing burgers and the staff was very nice.

Generally get my food from here with no issue, known these guys a long time yet tonight. Put my order in and took about 5 attempts to get my order right, come to collect it and instead of being chicken wings with a dip, side of chips I get 2 boxes with a small chips and 2 pieces of chicken. Not what I ordered!

found hair in my burger and took so long to get served, the chips were ok though. the workers were very rude and misunderstanding i could hear them mocking me round the back.

Completely forgot about this place until I was driving through Widcombe the other day and it popped into my brain. Was happy to see the place still as it was. The burgers the chicken, the chips and the milkshake are all 10 out of 10 in my opinion. not eaten here for years, and it's just as good as I remember!! Highly recommended!!!

Banging!!!! Simple menu but you can taste his passion in the food. Burgers are banging, wings are banging. Really good portions. Shame I ate it before I could take a picture. The guy was sound AF too

Where do I start! Frozen pizza base (yes I saw them take it out) not even freshly made, infact he looked put out when I mentioned it and asked if they make fresh dough. The sauce l can only describe as cheap tangy puree and as for the cheese, well that was also frozen (again witnessed it come straight out the freezer). I also paid for a quarter pounder which seemed the same as every other burger i saw them make whilst I waited. Oh and too top it off their card machine froze mid transaction (frozen seems to be a bit of a theme here).I was then asked to pay cash, however I never got a cancelled transaction notification so who knows might get charged again for this. The food was so poor I actually feel sick. What an ace away to end a lovely weekend visit to Bath, cheers Manhattan for that! oh and as for your claim you have 32 years in business as stated on the menu I call BS, unless its 32 years of serving substandard produce, if so your gold standard.

My go to burger joint for many years but today however after not visiting for quite a while I was a little disappointed. A change of burger supplier maybe,I don't know. Chips also way below the standard I was used to. Maybe a one off,who knows. Not sure if I'll make it my go to place when in Bath anymore. I know times are tough,but don't skimp on the quality of the products..

No way this should have cost £9 for a cheeseburger and a large fries. Burger was mediocre at best and fries were still soaked in oil. I would have been way more satisfied just going to any chain restaurant instead. Sorry.

The burgers are beautiful and the chips incredible, with very generous size portions. The staff in this family run business are extremely friendly and always remember a previous customer. I first started eating here in 2002 and have never fallen out of love with the place. To cap it all off, they also offer a nice varied selection of drinks too.

Purchased 5 burger meal deals for takeaway after reading great reviews. Burgers took 30 minutes and were cold. 5 portions of chips were just dumped together - great for sharing covid with friends.

This place isn’t competing with schwarz bro’s it’s competing with the local hot dog van. Stale buns, basic salad, cheap horrible burger pates, watery tomato sauce and lumpy garlic mayo that looks like it had tiny little balls inside. If anyone thinks the burgers here are good then I’m sorry you haven’t had a decent burger. So poor

Staying overnight in area, and went here for burger chips. Never been before and found people very friendly and helpful, had the quarter pound with cheese and fries all cooked to order. Found the food very tasty and hot.

Back in the 1990's, I used to visit this place 3 or 4 times each summer, having finished playing sport in Bath and faced with a long tiring haul back up the M4 and M25, to home. Have just looked them up to see whether they still even existed and so pleased that they do and that the reviews reflect everything that I experienced back in the day - friendly, efficient service and excellent food. Their Blue Cheese Burger always was to die for! Need to get down to Bath again as soon as the lockdown is over, so I'll pay them a visit for the first time in years!

I've been here quite a few times and love their Spicy bean burger. I always try burger to every country/city I visit and I would definitely place them in top 5 in England somewhere after Handmade & Co.

Everything is freshly cooked and they will make your food how you want it: nothing is too much trouble! Been coming here for yours - won't go anywhere else! Friendliest owner and staff - always have a smile and willing to chat. Also very patient when my children were learning how to order food and handle money! Can't fault them!

Some friends were staying over so I thought I would treat them to a take-away. Can't remember the last time I visited here - probably at least 10yrs, so glad I came back. It was early Sunday evening and the staff member couldn't have been nicer, will be coming back again soon.

Chips and milkshakes are great. The burgers are somewhere between the 'dirty greaseburger' and gourmet burger... A little over-priced.

This place is on Widcombe High Street) This place has been serving up consistently good quality burgers and chips since I was a teenager back in the 1990s (and probably before that). I don't visit Bath so often now but popped in for a nostalgic bite to eat and was impressed by the service. In fact, the man who runs it is a role model for customer service. Very nice fries!

Been coming here for 25 years and it’s never disappointed! The fact everything is still the same makes it that much more special, takes me straight back to childhood where I couldn’t even see over the counter! Tony and Mel are the loveliest, most genuine people you could meet. Everything is cooked fresh for you and considering it’s in Bath the fact it’s remained so genuine is a rarity!

You'll never beat Manhattan burgers for miles around. Forget burger king and mcdonalds.... Manhattan burgers are just simply excellent 1st class food. 1st class service. Well worth the drive from Bristol. All food is cooked fresh to order. Been eating here for nearly 30 years... and I have the body to prove it😂😂

I've ordered 5 wings and I paid 3.90£. At this price I was expecting best wings I ever had. Instead I recive 5 wings with almost no meet but with a lot of feathers. I could say longer than the wings. I had to been it.

Collected fish & chips from here to eat in the pub next door, guy cooked them fresh whilst I waited and he was very pleasant indeed. There was an extensive menu & good opening hours. The food was extremely tasty thank you

Fui con mi pareja después de una noche en el pub y quedó sorprendido por el hecho de que este lugar. el hombre a cargo era increíble. A pesar de tener una gran orden de un montón de gente borracha recargados que estaban siendo muy grosera, logró derrotar a su comida y la nuestra a un ritmo increíble, mientras que al mismo tiempo brindar un gran producto. Para completarla, era también muy amable y mantuvo su profesionalidad a pesar de tener algunos horribles que pelearse con los clientes. Aplaudo a este caballero y dirige el establecimiento. La comida era deliciosa y lo recomiendo sobre todo las otras articulaciones de hamburguesas en el baño. Nos veremos de nuevo!!!
