The best restaurants in South West

We ordered a takeaway at 7pm and It turned up.at 9pm We had to warm it up as it was cold. This is the 2nd time we've waited for 2 hours or more, shocking service!!!

First time visiting after living in Dawlish for 6 years, and wow amazing the food was so tasty the best I've had in many years! I will be recommending to many people! Can't wait to visit again!! 😍

Best vegan roast we have had in years. Really accommodating staff with lots of little thoughtful extras. Can't rate it highly enough. Great value for money too. The desserts were delicious too. It's so nice to have proper inclusive menus that cater for everyone, well done blue ball! We will be back very soon.

Came across café by accident, then came back for lunch. One week later we returned with our family, again for lunch. Wonderful fresh food, and great atmosphere inside the café. Lovely views across the countryside for seasonal outdoor dining too! Good little shop selling quality farm produce (tasty sourdough bread) and a selection of simple gifts, plus the enamel "crockery" used in the café. Looking forward to our next visit!

Best fish I have had other than being on the coast

A man called constantin served me a terrible takeaway, he had not cooked it properly , the food looked raw .

Great place for a coffee and some cake. Also serves alcohol and meals. Nice atmosphere, with tables and lounging sofas. Staff very helpful, live sports shown. Has outdoor seating, some of which is undercover.

The food that was served for dinner was really lovely. Not far from where everyone travels in the cotswolds this place is a hidden beauty. Thank you for the food

First time in this bar in the evening. There was live music. Atmosphere was great. Had a mulled wine (it is nearly christmas). Had a couple of drinks. (No food) friendly staff and would recommend

Always incredibly tasting food, lovely staff too, worth picking up not relying on JustEat, just top tier food!

Had lunch here, the food was very good. My wife's fish was perfectly cooked and my venison, with lentils, was equally as good. Served with complimentary bread with olive oil. Excellent selection of wines by the glass. The place is very traditional, so much the better, and the staff friendly and efficient. We will be back.

I visited cherries cafe today , I have to say the young lady who served me was outstanding her service was excellent and was willing to chat and was very pleasant, I hope this comment is passed on to her to thank her for going the extra mile. Also the food was fantastic truly recommended I will revisit again. Thank you
