Mad Hatter Wine Bar in Cotswold

Went here with 5 others for NYE this year ..... what a fabulous little place!! It's not huge, but that's part of it's charm, as the atmosphere is so friendly because of it! We had live music non stop from Pavo, (so so impressed)! I've since found out that they always have brilliant live music every weekend, so I will def be back!! :)

We attended a wedding party 01.11.24 the bouncer and bar staff were very warm and welcoming, accommodating, friendly and the entertainment , food atmosphere was amazing. Throughly enjoyed ourselves which was due to staff and ambience of the bar. And company obviously. Thank you x

The Character inside the bar with its wooden beams is charming and very lively and great atmosphere especially on live music nights on Thursday- Saturday and the staff is friendly and welcoming too and definitely one of my favourite places to go

Very cozy local bar, with great selection of drinks and high level service. Just had 2 amazing evenings during last weekend (wedding celebration) where all of the guests had a warm welcome and the stuff really went above & beyond

This place was like a little piece of treasure. The music coming from their initially caught my interest and as I got closer the place was so quirky looking, I was immediately hooked. It was an evening to remember! We had so much fun. Fantastic host, great music and atmosphere. I would definitely return one day!

As a female solo traveller it was a delight to discover this place. This proprietress is so kind, and does everything she can to make sure the place is safe and inviting. Great selection of drinks, wonderful staff, and good music. All the stars.

There is a wide variety of good beers to choose from and there is always live music in the evenings. Definitely has the best atmosphere in Cirencester. Very friendly staff and customers.

Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere even when not many people in and drinks a reasonable price. If you like a bit of fizz on a Friday, it will be on offer at £15 a bottle of prosecco for a trial period 🥂

We went there for my birthday we was doing a pub craw for my 27th, although this was in September I really love this pub, the land landy was so polite and welcoming its a jem of a nice local pub not another chain pub. I live and work in bristol and would 100% come back to visit this pub it was amazing

A back street "Tin Pot" excuse for a so called wine bar? Service painfully slow, staff disintersted, uncouth and rude, warm overpriced beer not to mention the miserable customers, all appear in their mid 70's by the look of it. Visited Cirencester recently with friends from Stratford on Avon, and this establishment certainly lets the town down, SHAME on you. However, if you want proffesional and courteous service, we would strongly recomend walking a little further centrally into the town (50 yards if that), a totally different atmosphere altogether and a Big well done to all the staff and management of the Black Horse and the The Crown!

The Mad Hatter Wine Bar is an absolute gem in Cirencester's crown of bars.

Got a funny look when I asked for a wine list. Apparently only options were one red, one white or two roses - hardly a wine bar! Hugely misleading, so we left.

Of all the places to randomly wander into this probably isn't the worst but given there are so many places in Cirencester you would have to count yourself unfortunate to spend time here. It was dirty, poorly furnished and unpleasant.

Desde el momento en que entramos, el Landlady Sherrie nos hizo sentir bienvenidos al instante. Podías ver y sentir sus vibraciones positivas mientras se tomaba el tiempo para hablar con cada cliente. Realmente recomendaría pasar por una bebida o dos o más.The Landlady es realmente un gran anfitrión y volvimos un par de veces porque nos sentimos muy bienvenidos. ¡También encontrarás algunos invitados adicionales escondidos a lo largo del bar, también conocidos como los minions! Came across this little bar before we were heading for dinner! Great drink and really friendly staff! The lady was really helpful and even informed us of the evening entertainment/music that was happening that evening! Well worth a visit!

Mi amiga y yo fuimos un fin de semana de chicas a Cirencester y paseamos por este bar de vinos. Nos asomamos y fuimos creados inmediatamente por el encantador gerente (su nombre se me escapa) que se ofreció a darnos el trato de la hora feliz en una botella del Sauvignon Blanc de Nueva Zelanda, ¡aunque pasaron un par de horas antes de que comenzara la hora feliz oficial! !Disfrutamos esta sesión en el asiento de la ventana viendo pasar el mundo. Lamentablemente, el área del jardín es muy pequeña y los bancos son bastante sucios, ya que se utiliza principalmente como zona de fumadores.Más tarde en la noche volvimos y tomamos otra botella de Sav en la oferta de la hora feliz. Tenían una banda en la noche y realmente encontramos a todos súper amables y recomendaría este bar de vinos

The pub was okay. Toilets though need expansion. My friend thought the drinks expensive. Karaoke alright, but like a lot of karaoke 's today the D.J.'s lacked personality. It was just "our next singer is..." And nothing else. No chat to tempt the audience!

Welcomed as soon as we walked in to the greatest show on earth. We will be back! If you want to laugh and you bent thumbs this is the place for you, you’ll fit right in!

Unfortunately not my favourite. Poor selection of beer and no selection of prosecco. I hoped to get one on draft but they run on Saturday afternoon!!!
