Incredible Mexican food at this fun restaurant in the heart of Cirencester! The cocktails are amazing and the staff are so friendly!! Exactly what Cirencester needs and will definitely be back!

Been to Mama Burrito in Ciren, and the pop up in the Gilbertine in tetbury - both times were absolutely delicious! A great menu, and great tasting food.

A must-visit! I adore Buritto Mama. Their food is delicious and freshly made and their cocktails are zingy and vibrant. We get takeaway and have also eaten in. Highly recommend the spicy margaritas, mushroom burritos and elite corn.

Best restaurant in Ciren by FAR!

Gorgeous food. I had the beef tacos, they were perfect. The consomme was was tangy, smoky and perfectly spiced. The corn and halloumi made perfect sides. I have a gluten allergy and the menu has so may options. We went in June when it was super hot so sat outside. Perfect little spot in Ciren. Already can't wait to go back.

I stumbled upon this place last year and has since become one our firm family favourites in Cirencester. In fact be bring all our family and friends when they visit, and everyone loves it as much as we do. As a huge fan of mexican food and having been to Mexico many times, I must say this is the best we've ever had. It not often that you get such amazing flavours with mexican food, the Nachos are just another level to anything I've had before, and the chicken quesadillas and the tacos are incredible. The picante margaritas are also a firm favourite (just not the next morning!) The place is always busy and has a great atmosphere, no idea how anyone could give it less than 5*. Thank you burrito mamas, we will see you again soon!

Every meal at Burrito Mamas is an amazing experience… the drinks (hot honey margaritas are phenomenal) the food is fresh and so tasty, great fun and relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. It’s a perfect night out.

It's a great little place, great service from friendly, attentive and polite girls. Food was good, very tasty and, large portions, couldn't finish my burrito, took a doggy home. Will definitely return and bring friends.

I dined in on New Year’s Eve. I had the veggie platter for 2 and it was incredible. Great value for money, lots of food, and SO much flavour. Everything was delicious. Fast service and very clean there too. The staff were lovely and I felt very welcome. Best Mexican I’ve ever had!! Would 100% recommend to others!

Love love love! My fav place to take friends as it never lets me down. The food is fantastic, cocktails are always so fresh and punchy. The price for what you get is great and the staff have always been super friendly and their service is so good whether eating in or having a take out. Highly highly recommend!

Really enjoy eating at this place. I recommend booking ahead of time to avoid being turned away due to it being a small place and really popular. Great for coeliacs as they have a lot of gluten free options and they are clued up on it. Only thing I would pass feedback on is the Elote Corn used to come nicely sliced so it was easy to eat, however they’ve changed it so it’s a corn on the cob so it’s quite a pain to eat as there’s loads of toppings on top. Still delicious though, everything is fab!

Best food I’ve tasted in a long time!

50th bday…they pulled out the stops! Had a fab evening and food and drinks delicious! Best spicy marg out there!

Popped in last night for meal and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. The starters (nachos and corn) were delicious. The taco mains that followed were equally brilliant. You can tell a lot of care and skill goes into the cooking here. Service was attentive and efficient. Very good options for vegetarians. Overall I highly recommend this place if you love Mexican food. Just a shame we don’t live close enough to visit frequently.

We had lunch here on a very wet and cold Saturday. It was lovely and cosy with a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was fantastic, really good flavours and served hot and without a lot of waiting despite it being fairly busy. The staff are also lovely and friendly. Great choices for veggie/vegan as well as meat eaters so brilliant for us as a mixed group. Can’t rate highly enough, lovely place.

Mexican Beer & Delicious Burritos

Quite a find. We were visiting in and around Cirencester. Based on the reviews we tried Burrito Mamas. We were not disappointed! A warm welcome. The place was almost full. A clear love for all things Mexican! We ordered the loaded nachos which were authentic. No cheap gooey cheese and pickled jalapeños here! Followed by Birria beef tacos and a birria rice bowl! The beef was incredibly tender and flavoursome. Not forgetting the chile margaritas! Highly recommend stopping by to enjoy a little bit of Mexico here!

Absolutely wonderfully delicious Mexican restaurant. The food was plentiful, seasoned well, and with fresh ingredients used. Staff were friendly and polite; cannot fault this place. Highly recommend.

Good Mexican food and very friendly and professional service. The place is also very clean and tidy. I had also the Jamaica Water which was not as tasty as I normally had but was OK. We had 2 bowls which were served with good timing and exelent appearance.

During our holiday in the Cotswolds found this fantastic Mexican restaurant. They have the best burrito's and taco's we ever had. A reservation is recommended, while more people enjoy the food. Parking is very easy at the Forum parkinglot and then a couple of minutes walking for the perfect meal! The Birria loaded nachos are simply gorgeous, the perfect starter to share.

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday, it was busy but staff were accommodating and friendly. My 6 year old was given a children’s colouring sheet with menu and crayons. We had a beef burrito, tacos from the daily specials and my daughter had a mini chicken burrito - all excellent. Really good quality ingredients, fresh taste and good portion size. The drinks selection was great and my strawberry Mexican soda was particularly good. We will definitely be back.

We love Burrito Mama. Live locally and have it every month, at least. My boy's birthday dinner this month was here and that is perfect for me and my wife. Whether dine in or takeaway, it's always great food. Don't change BM!

We had the pleasure of Burrito Mama catering our wedding, which was their very first wedding event, and they absolutely nailed it! From start to finish, they provided exceptional service and delicious food that our guests couldn’t stop talking about - some are even planning a visit to their restaurant very soon! The canapés were beautifully presented and packed with flavor, setting a wonderful tone for the rest of the meal. We had a fully vegetarian menu, and Ella went above and beyond, creating a variety of vibrant and satisfying dishes that were a hit with everyone, regardless of dietary preference. Ella’s team were incredibly efficient and professional, ensuring that every guest was well taken care of without missing a beat. Despite this being their first wedding, they handled everything with professionalism and ease, ensuring our day was perfect. Really nice food, generous portions, good atmosphere! Usually quite busy at weekends. Nice friendly staff. If I can give a suggestion, could it be possible to have the waitresses to actually write down the order? On more than one occasion items have not been received by the kitchen or starters are forgotten in the kitchen while mains are served. Thank you!

We really enjoyed this lively, vibrant little restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, just off Black Jack St. Staff were friendly, helpful and hard-working. The food was delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. Cocktails were fun, though not top-notch. Book ahead - highly recommended.

We went out of our way to go to this place and it was so worth it! All of the staff were super lovely and great service. Of course, best of all the food was amazing. We wish we lived closer but would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Possibly the best Mexican I've had in this country. We had the beef tacos and they were ridiculous. Our waitress was fabulous, basically told us what to eat and the cocktails to accompany the food and she was spot on!!

The best food and service In Cirencester, without a doubt. Every dish here is full of flavour, freshly cooked and delicious. The service is always friendly and professional and the atmosphere is nice and chilled. Very reasonable prices and a great choice of alcoholic and soft drinks. Every time I’m in Cirencester, this is the place I book and can’t wait to go back.

The food was absolutely astonishingly lovely. Genuinely some of the best food we’d all eaten! However, the service let the side down. 4 of us came in for bottomless brunch. I ordered a margarita to start, which was very good. Whenever we’d order drinks it seemed to be a pain to our waitress, who would just walk off after ordering, no acknowledgment of what we’d said. We also caught them rolling their eyes at us, and being overall unpleasant behind our backs. I think they thought we couldn’t see, but it was very obvious. I circled back to a margarita, and this one had soda water in it. It wasn’t very nice. I asked for my next one to be made without soda water, and she was reluctant to do that since bottomless brunch “didn’t include the nice one”. It was quite a weird statement. Also we couldn’t have any Prosecco cocktail unless we all had it, because they didn’t want to open a bottle unless we’d drink the whole thing. We also had to keep going up to order drinks. She told my friend to not come up to order. Which is fine, but then you should make an effort to actually come and check if we’d like another drink. She just never came back to our table after about an hour. My final margarita came with a tahin rim, not salt as requested. I asked for it to be changed, and she said she didn’t have any salt left. When I questioned it, she took the drink, without saying a word, and moments later came back with the correct drink. Overall it was quite a weird experience. They seemed to instantly dislike us, and we couldn’t really work out why. We were polite, we were smiling and having fun, and didn’t seem to be disrupting anyone around us. I would go back, but not for bottomless brunch, as it seems they begrudgingly offer this.

My son’s first experience trying Mexican food and the staff were really helpful and kind, keeping everything separate for him and making him some plainer than normal tacos, which he loved. It is a small place with a small menu but a fantastic food!!! The dishes aren't the typical greasy dripping food but a well balanced and flavoursome. I would recommend to book in advance to guarantee a table. They have also a selection of gluten free options like a burrito in a bowl instead of a wrap.

What an absolute find! The series perfect and food great. Had some Tacos which were super tasty, shared a burrito which again was tasty with a bit spicer. The craft Lager was good too. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend it too.

Regular customer - The food is fantastic with friendly service. The Ancho Chilli Asada Mushroom Burritos are a favourite of mine (And I don't usually like mushrooms) - Almost forgot to mention the Hot Honey Margarita which is fantastic

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff were attentive but not checking on you every couple minutes, they timed it perfectly. The food was brought out quickly and was very well presented. Will definitely be going back soon.

I had a takeaway from here, which included a beef burrito and a quesadilla. Both were really good, in particular the quesadilla - crunchy and super favourful and nicely seasoned.

Shared nachos was like a bogs dinner all the nachos were broken and totally smothered in stringy meat, arrived within with 3 mins of placing the order basically just throwing together

Myself and partner we came across of Mama burritos about two weeks ago, I went in to grab a takeout menu, I went in and honestly I didn’t want to leave the smells of the different flavour in the restaurant I felt I was in Mexico in the food market of Tijuana , we went today , silly me didn’t book , but they give us a table, that was reserved for later on , the welcoming was excepcional My God the food the loaded nachos with beef 😱😱😱 OMG they blow my mind I couldn’t stop eating , then the tacos 🤩🤩 I have been in the industry of hospitality for over 15 years and is the first time in my career that I don’t have words to describe how grateful we were with everything and everyone, the service unbelievably amazing, I had the chance to speak to the managers I’m not sure if she was but , the way she approached us was very polite, she had an amazing attitude and that beautiful smile , thank you for existing:) Please try it out. It just perfect.

Since Burrito Mama has opened this has been the family go to for great lunches! We do take away quite a bit and drive an hour for the tasty meals. We lived in LA for many years and missed our Mexican cuisine, so when they opened AND the food was amazing, we were overjoyed to say the least. Staff are lovely and accommodating to all our dietary needs. We have recommended so many friends! Thanks!!
