Really good fish and chips. The halloumi fritter was amazing. Brilliant chips and lovely fish. Really nice batter. Would defo recommend and will be going back.

Today we visit this neat fish and chip shop. The owners, Mr and Mrs, were very friendly. You can sit down to eat on high stools along the wall, which is quite comfortable. Or take the food with you, of course. The fish and chips were delicious, really enjoyed it! Well worth a visit! Thank you for the very nice meal and for your hospitality! A very busy fish and chips bar, very clean interior. Fish and chips are tasty. Batter is very crispy, although I won't say the fish and chips are extraordinary. Price is very decent, I would recommend it. Seatings inside is limited, but there are plenty of benches outside in the green to sit down and enjoy the food.

Very good food, also really nice staff. Never ate better fish and chips. Can only recommend.

It's definitely one of the best fish and chips I have had in the UK. Ordered the burger and regular chips. All I can say is value for money with an amazing taste. I forgot to take pictures because I was too excited to eat the food 👌 great job, keep it up. I'm definitely ordering from here again.

I work in Tetbury but have actually never had chips for my lunch, I heard good things from one of my colleagues who lives in Tetbury and so thought I would give them a go, probably a big mistake as they were so good I think it maybe a new habit.(not good for waistline) but they are the best chips that I have had in a long long time. The place is spotless, staff very friendly and food delicious and fresh. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We are visiting Tetbury for a couple of days so we thought we'd try Tetbury Fish and Chips as it was convenient. Great decision. These are possibly the best fish and chips that we have EVER eaten. Beautiful pieces of fish and lovely old fashioned chips cooked to absolute perfection. We couldn't recommend them any more highly. Fantastic!

This would be a perfect Fish and Chips but for some reason the chips are always undercooked. I've been three times, but won't go again because of this issue.

We had fish and chips for a family of four and while we waited the proprietress and employee chatted with us which was delightful. We put a pin on the map and chatted and then were presented with large portions of fish and chips, which were outstanding. Light and crispy, thick fillets of fish, beautifully crispy batter and thick cut, delicious chips. Highly recommended.

I have lived in Tetbury 6 years having arrived from the East Coast of England where fish and chips is a Friday evening staple. Every other experience of Cotswolds fish n chips has been horrendous so rarely bother. This evening for a change thought I'd risk it and what a pleasant surprise! Well cooked chips and crispy batter on my cod. Very nice thank you can recommend.

I’m a freelance spy so going into this place on a busy Friday was always going to be a risk. Fortunately it was easy to park outside like the other 20 customers chose to do. The road was therefore blocked and the assassins failed to reach me. Magnificent Fish and Chips as ever. The helicopter picked me up near the Goods Shed and that was that.

Really efficient and the wait time is still fine even when really busy. The lady who runs out is very loud but a real character and knows what she's doing. All the other staff there are lovely too. Fish is really nice, chips can be either really good or average. Curry sauce and mushy peas up to standard and the deep fried mince pies for Xmas were great!

What a fabulous traditional chippy. We had a group of 25, a hangover from a wedding party, and every single portion was cooked to perfection. Excellent portions, perfectly presented and delicious. Thanks so much and we’ll visit every time we’re in Tetbury.

We are so grateful to Tina and Tetbury fish and chip shop for opening up on a Sunday in order to cater for our post-wedding gathering. The food was absolutely delicious - fresh fish and well cooked chips. 24 very happy and full bellies.

Possibly the best fish and chip shop we’ve been to. The welcome, the quality and freshness and the taste were outstanding. We were passing through Tetbury over lunchtime and decided to stop off for a bite to eat. We’d researched fish and chips on Google and this place came recommended. The rain arrived at the same time as us, so fortunately they have small counters where you can sit in and eat. The husband and wife team who own this place know how to make you feel welcome and relaxed. Our freshly cooked haddock was served to us on a plate, we’d expected in paper or at best a box! The fish was cooked to perfection, no oily batter in sight and it was very meaty and fresh. The chips, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside just how they should be. The Tetbury Fish and Chip shop come highly recommended and we’d suggest, get on down there and give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I was a little disappointed that none of the 4 staff members acknowledged my existence for a good few minutes. But when they did, they were fine. Chips were excellent 👌🏻

Placed a large order for eleven people this evening and I can’t fault either the food or the service. Food was all freshly cooked as we waited, was still hot when we arrived home and was enjoyed very much by everyone. Highly recommend.

Best fish and chips ever. We arrived to get dinner after a very long drive from Heathrow, having only had breakfast. I think we ordered almost the whole shop. You can tell the fish and chips are cooked in fresh good quality oil and the portion sizes are generous. A life saver for two starving Aussies lol

Got to say that's the best fish and chips I've ever had. Drove from Malmesbury to get them. Still really hot when we got back. Shop itself was spotless, so I knew the food would be good. Staff were lovely too. 10/10

Great chippy! Good food and the customer service was excellent - I was even given a proper knife and fork as I ate mine at the bench. Everyone was greeted in such a friendly way and I loved the world map on the wall, showing where customers came from in the world.

My first visit today. Just over from Spain for a short break. Had been told by my mother and brother how wonderful your f & c were, I had high expectations. Well, you certainly didn't disappoint. Everything we had was amazing, and the home made fishcake was the best I've ever had. Will be over again in November with my kids and grandkids. Hoping to see you again then. Thanking you for making my visit special.

Couldn't fault the haddock and chips I bought there yesterday (4/4/23). Moist and cooked to perfection. Friendly staff and fair prices.

Use to be the best around, now it's just OK. Chips were OK, but maybe need to do smaller batches more often. They weren't cold, but they weren't hot either. Sausage was cooked perfectly, I given up with the fish!

Cracking portion size - we shared a large and it was enough for both of us with a small amount of chips left over. Speedy service, delicious curry sauce, my partner said the batter on the battered sausage was crispy and tasty.

Just had really lovely cod and chips, battered sausage and chips. Freshly made tasted amazing. Quick service, good sized portions would highly recommend.

Just moved to area and food was great had gourmet burger which was fresh and had nice salad on it and good bun. Chicken nuggets are more like chicken balls from Chinese but where really nice and chips where good with a nice color will be going back again and again I think.

I travel from Cirencester to get my fish and chips from here and an amazing battered sausage. They have never been greasy and have always been fresh and hot and make it back to my house to eat. Brilliant and friendly service to.

This chippy has gone from strength to strength, and under new ownership it now stocks a range of delicious vegetarian and vegan options 😍 The battered halloumi is definitely my favourite, but the vegan “ch’kn” strips are very good too 👍

We've been several times over the years, usually in summer so we can sit on the nearby benches. Think it's might have changed hands but it was good. Only issue was that the choice of fish was limited, but then supplies everywhere seem to be so. It was freshly cooked, hot, crispy and tasty.

Food freshly cooked to order can involve a wait but is worth it as the cod and chips are always delicious.

Fish tasted ok, chips were burnt, think they need to reduce the temperature of the fryers because everything is always slightly burnt/overcooked. Also, there are sultanas in the curry sauce, yuk. wouldn’t eat here again.

Top food yet again, and very generous portions, you can't go wrong in tetbury for fish and chips here.
