Soup was from a tin and bread was stale. And expensive for this quality.

Exceptional, friendly service on a Saturday night and the most amazingly comfortable bed and hot shower, with a lovely view of the tranquil countryside across my private terrace :)

A friend said she would take us for a fish and chips lunch. Wow, what a surprise. The best restaurant I have been to in 25 years. The view was the sea.. The menu, so different. The waitress was knowledgeable The food was brilliant. I could taste each individual item on my seafood dish. Desserts, we all tried each others dessert. All were absolutely scrumptious.

A very welcoming pub!! Very busy even on a cold wet night in February as soon as we walked through the door it felt like a good locals pub and they welcomed dogs !!! We went in not booked and it was valentines!!! But we did manage to have a table super food - we rebooked again for later in the week - the food was outstanding - in fact it seemed like a high end restaurant inside a friendly local pub staff very friendly but were so very busy. I would recommend this place to anyone in charmouth -you will not be disappointed.

I've used this café several times over the years. Always a friendly welcome and a good selection of food. Prices are also reasonable which is more than can be said about a lot of the other eateries in Lyme Regis.

Epic gluten free chips in a separate frier and gluten free vinegar. Best of all it was a massive portion! Will def be back soon

The food was amazing and the people were delightful. They made us feel settled so that we could enjoy our exquisite food. Adam and Joey, the chef, were so entertaining, helpful and friendly and gave us so much extra information that was really interesting about the food and the cooking process. We were on a school visit and the whole experience was exceptional, we could not believe how fantastically kind, generous and helpful the whole team were. Thank you! (written by the pupils)

One of the worst experiences for a long time. The pub was cold, and, although I had booked a table for lunch weeks before they told me I could only have a snack as they were not serving lunch. Then they couldn’t even offer us some of the things on the snack menu. It was expensive and lacklustre. The conservatory was not heated. Such a shame as this pub was one of my favourites but we won’t go again.

Nice friendly local. Was standing room only at dinner time but didn't matter. Room to perch. Nice ales.

We booked for the Sunday carvery and our party of 8 all enjoyed it very much. .Very tasty and well organised as no long queues. Boys liked the darts board for a quick round and a drink before lunch. Nice atmosphere and welcoming staff - would definitely recommend.

Didn't get there until late so never eat but the service was great and friendly stayed the night and the room was clean spacious and comfortable

Having a few days off of work we decided to treat ourselves to a nice breakfast. Potters did not disappoint, lovely warm welcome, from the ladies serving. We chose to sit upstairs as downstairs was bustling and busy, a good sign of a popular place. The upstairs room is lovely, it would make an ideal venue for a private function or family gathering. Our drinks and breakfast orders were taken swiftly, we chose the half English breakfast and the vegetarian Breakfast. Both were absolutely delicious, cooked extremely well and very generous size portions. The sautéed potatoes, mushrooms and eggs on the vegetarian breakfast were fabulous as was the black pudding from my partners half English which I pinched!

As a regular customer, i am a little biased with my opinion. I have got to know most of the staff and have built a good customer relationship. However, that said, the only reason this situation has occurred is because of the great service and produce this establishment has to offer. Clean, polite, and offer great tasting coffee. What a successful business model. If there was only one item to add to my wish list for this place, it would be kitchen extraction. You can smell the cooking on your clothes all day from an hour visit.

Perfectly cooked full English. Price included generous cappuccino. Airy and clean cafe. Modern tables and chairs. Friendly efficient staff. Value for money.

Best fish and chips ever!! We come from Shaftesbury and anytime when we are in the area, this is our go to takeaway!! Spotlessly clean, crisp batter fish and perfect chips. Never disappoints!!
