I met at Wagamama’s this evening with some friend's and my one year old daughter, our servers (Isabell & Carlos) were very welcoming and friendly as we arrived. The service was very attentive and helpful especially for my daughter. Our food and drinks brought to us in no time at all - all delicious. A wonderful evening, thank you

The food is good and the service was fine, but this place is so busy you can barely hear yourself think, let alone have a conversation with whoever is across from you. So loud it makes the whole experience unenjoyable.

Absolutely shocking!!!! Sat in the restaurant ordered our food straight away. Waited 40 minutes, I finally asked someone what was happening with our food as everyone around us had their food. The order hadnt even been put through, so we had been waiting all that time for nothing! Absolutely shocking, ruined my mum's birthday!!!

Lovely food, great service and a good atmosphere. We were able to reserve a table because we were a large group but there were quite a few people waiting. The seating is on long tables with benches and quite casual. Not cheap, but great for a treat, especially in a group. I might not choose it for a romantic evening for 2!

Nothing was too much trouble, excellent service, and delicious fresh food

My order was a takeaway on this occasion, but i have dinned in previously. I'm not the biggest fan of this style of cuisine, but i found a dish I liked. The venue is modern, clean and tidy. There are tables but there is a chance of sharing a long table with other patrons. If you are a social character, like me, starting up conversation with other dinners can either be rather fun or your worst nightmare. My kids love it and when you order a takeaway you can reuse the containers or return to get money off your next order.

As a creature of habit I always have the same meal, however I felt like a change. I chatted with a lovely server (Fin), who when I asked for a recommendation, took time to ask me what I like, and clearly had great knowledge of the menu. I have to say the saka saka duck soba was fantastic.

Really tasty chouxnut, all the food is good here, you can see them cook it in the open fronted kitchen. The staff are upbeat, and it's got a busy, happy vibe. Food can range from the mild Katsu curry to more spicy noodle dishes. My children really like it here.

Probably the best restaurant in Dorchester. Did is great, staff are amazing. Gets busy but they give you a clear understanding of wait times. Great atmosphere.

Thank you to Daisy for recommending the prawn crackers… a new firm favourite. Sophie also showed us how to use the Soul Club, loved the free gyozas. Overall great service and great food.

I came here for dinner with my partner and Daisy served us :) i called ahead and asked if it was okay for us to come in and she reassured me that it was all okay and she was super nice the whole time and got us everything we needed Daisy supremacy 🤘

Excellent service for our lunchtime party of 15 lovers of spicy food. We were impressed by the variety and quality of dishes on the menu. With refillable green tea, the meal was excellent value.

Food was decent and impressively fast to the table, albeit a little bit more costly than alternatives in the area. Bit awkward queuing to get in, but interior is cosy. Seats are deceivingly comfortable. Most of the staff were friendly, however both; the waitress who insisted my glass caked on the rim with food debris was clean, and the manager who became angry when we couldn't pay online, let the side down. Would recommend apart from the above.

First time at Wagamama's in Dorchester..... what a great experience... Met at the door by Fin who is a star, personable, helpful, sense of humour, hardworking and a fantastic ambassador for this company. He is intuitive about customers needs, always looking around for people who need to be served etc. Excellent front of house. Well done Fin.... Carry on with your attitude and work ethic and you will go far!

We had lovely family meal. I had Pad Thai which was delicious. The chefs were lovely and the service was perfect thanks to Daisy.

all I can say is Fin, Fin, Fin. What a guy, promote this legend immediately. Watched in wrestle a bin lid so top tier atmosphere as well as food. In all seriousness great experience well done Fin!!!

I popped in today for a menu from the Dorchester branch and was greeted by Adam the manager (what a lovely man) I decided to go back after work an order some food to go. Adam was there and may I say what exceptional service! I don't think I've ever experienced such great service before, he was so helpful and all his staff were amazing also. As always the food was fantastic and I can't compliment you all enough. We will be back very soon ☺️

Very nice meal, busy at the time we arrived, but got seated without delay. Service was very slick, food arrived in good time and was hot and tasty, good job by the staff.

Never took our order, ended up leaving after 15 mins if trying to get staff attention, they were either on phones or suddenly had to go do something else when I tried to get their attention

ive been many times and always had a good time! the staff have always been very kind and helpful. i tend to only get the grilled chicken ramen but everything else looks delicious! definitely recommend coming here for a family dinner or with a couple of friends!

Most amazing service by Amelia!!! We had just come from our first baby scan at the hospital and Amelia was so sweet, so attentive and the restaurant even gifted us a recipe book with the sweetest inscription 🥹 The food was delicious. We had juices, tea, an appetizer and mains. I especially loved the veggie corn dogs. We will definitely be back soon. xx

Excellent service from Callum, friendly and efficient. Thoroughly recommend the vegan breakfast, best anywhere and loved the lemon and ginger tea. Service with courtesy and a smile as well as exceptional vegan breakfast. Thank you Callum and chef.

I want to give these guys 6 stars, the customer service is excellent. I went there on a busy Wednesday evening and ordered a main dish and a side i had not tried before The side was bought over and it did not look as i expected, so when the waitress next walked past i questioned if it was the correct dish She checked and informed me they had delivered the wrong one, my correct dish was ready a minute later and i was given the other dish for no charge along with an apology for the mistake

I live in Australia and on every visit back to the uk to see my family, we always come to the Dorchester branch of Wagamamas as my Dad is vegetarian and we usually have a great experience. Unfortunately last Thursday, the first meal I’ve had in the uk since I’ve been back, I was disappointed with the service. There was a wait outside which was fine and we didn’t mind. We were seated and told we would be served by Sophie. After 20 minutes of waiting at the table I noticed she had served the people who came in after us. Which is fine again, people make mistakes / not sure if this communicated to her. So we ordered, food came extremely promptly and was delicious. After we decided to order desserts and two of them were brought to us but my sorbet was left on the side. Sophie and another waitress were folding cutlery and chatting so I just asked them if that was my sorbet (melting under the heat light). She then brought it over but I was upset to hear from my brother that she rolled her eyes at me for asking her. Was pretty disappointing but glad the food made up for her lack of service to customers.

Amelia (I believe is her name) is a credit to wagamama and made sure we had a very enjoyable experience. Food was great. Thank you : )

The food was plenty and very good! The drinks were also great, and so was the service. Unfortunately we sat right next to the pick up table, which wasn't enjoyable at all.

You get what you pay for and here that means excellent service, lovely atmosphere and most importantly delicious food. High quality, fresh ingredients cooked to order with a huge range of dishes that are better than the run of the mill options.

First time at Wagamamas, amazing food! Great service, good atmosphere. Drinks a bit pricey, but food prices pretty reasonable. Definitely be back so a big thumbs up from me 👍

I’ve eaten in many Wagamamas as a contractor for the company, but Dorchester tops them all. Beautifully cooked food, particularly fresh and tasty. Hands down, the best I’ve had in any of their sites. Eat here - you won’t be disappointed.

Great meal as usual. This place never disappoints. The food is fresh, hot and so tasty. It was so busy tonight but we were swiftly found a table and our server Emma Locke was friendly, efficient and made sure we served promptly. She knew the menu well and offered some suggestions. She checked that we were happy and had everything we needed. Thank you Emma we will definitely be back. First Class Service.

When we requested tap water the waiter said that they dont do jugs (there was 6 of us) so she would bring us a bottle. At the end of our meal, they then charged bottled water to our bill and when we brought it up with staff, our waiter (kelsie) refused to admit to the manager that we said tap water and made us pay the £10. Her incompetence as a server when licensed places(wagamama) are legally obliged to supply free water is insane to me. she's lying to customers to scam them out of money and lacks the back bone when confronted about it. ask for a different server.

Went into this Wagamamas chain for a late lunch today and was seen to really quickly. Was served by Isabelle, who was very professional and made sure that everything was okay for me and made sure my experience was great. Food was really quick, tasted and looked great.

I had an amazing dinner tonight with my daughters at Wagamama. We had pork buns and beef buns to start they were very delicious. Our mains were served hot and tasty. We finished with a delicious banana katsu. Thank you Rohan and Emma for your friendly service and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place.

This was the first time I'd visited this branch and we had an excellent lunch. It probably isn't very useful to review the menu because this is of course a chain, but everything was prepared to the highest standard and the staff were charming.

I love coming to this wagamamas it is always so comforting and friendly. Every time I come here with my friends or my family it is always so nice and chilled. Lovely food great staff will always come back to this one.

My first visit to a Wagamma. I have intolerance to several ingredients. It was dealt with very well and I had lovely food.

Wagamama Dorchester offer an incredibly friendly environment. My father is disabled and they went out of their way to be accommodating and helpful. The food is delicious and all the staff are excellent.

The young waiting staff were attentive... However the 2 senior staff were less so. The GM was doing as little as possible. When a fish bone was nearly choked on by my partner, the AGM said it was from a fish which was outsourced... No suggestion of a refund. I said I wasn't taking that as a reason, and she finally adjusted the bill. Then the GM, when we left, was extremely chatty to my partner's mum... If she wants to chat so much to people she may be better suited to a telephony job... Unfortunately the ratings reflect the senior staff...

The first time at a restaurant of this chain left positive memories. Dishes prepared fresh, delicious, portions large but not excessive. Professional service, although young, nice and helpful. One of the chefs even took a group photo of us :)

Rohan - the Manager - was delightful. Polite, patient and extremely helpful. We had never visited Wagamamas before so were not entirely sure how the ordering process worked and indeed what some of the dishes were. He took time to explain and was very patient with my indecisiveness. He made my ‘21st’ (hahaha - if only) birthday a very special experience. Highly recommend this establishment. My husband, myself and our young son (7) were made to feel at ease, unrushed and truly special. Thank you Rohan - we had a blast and will be back very soon.

We came here for my son’s birthday dinner. The wrong food was sent out to him twice, by which point the rest of us had finished eating - so we gave up and went home. A real disappointment and a bit of a rubbish end to his birthday.

Food was brill, never been keen on how the food is Brough to the table but the team brill.

Front house Staff were friendly and the manager is very helpful and nice - we had a small issue which he sorted out quickly . They are very busy in there , the food is nice and fresh , portions are not huge - we ordered different sides and mains and shared them. The chilis squid, green curry , pad Thai , fried prawns and ramen bowls were all delicious and well presented.

Cater to all allergy concerns. They take that very seriously, which is reassuring. Food is divine. Wish I like green tea as its free, and would save me a bit on drinks!

Wagamama is a family favourite and our recent visit didn't disappoint. It was a busy afternoon with a little wait outside but we were seated within a short while. Friendly staff and really quick service. Used the online payment system so not a lot of interaction with waiting staff. All in all a pleasant dining experience and tasty food.

Food was pretty good but I’ve had better from Wagamama. There doesn’t seem to be a consistency in the quality. Service was ok but there is a feeling of once you’ve ordered, you’re left alone. This is fine for the most part but no one checked to see if we needed anything (which we did- missing part of our order!). Atmosphere is good but can get quite loud- not a negative, just an observation.

Very considerate of my husband's gluten intolerance. Fully versed, however, they had to be reminded to serve me! Lovely food.

We visited on a Thursday evening and it was heaving! We waited about half an hour for a table. Once seated, service was incredibly slow. We were sitting near to the bar and could see our drinks orders waiting for us for about 10 minutes before we could get our waiters attention to bring them over. He seemed nice enough, just very stretched. My partner had to go off to find a fork for one of the kids as there was no one around to ask. Food wise, it was the best vegan pad Thai I've ever had. Just much better than the usual Wagamama dish.

The food was average, the service was attentive and helpful, and the payment method (you can pay for your share online) was quite innovative.

Table for 9. Lovely front of house staff but meals were served over a span of half and hour from first to last and the childrens tofu rice and the veggie gyoza & noodles were disgusting and inedible. Totally let down by the kitchen. Serving food as and when is fine but a ten minute window ish would be reasonable not half of you finished before some are served. Also, the two inedible meals were shameful. Such simple food so ruined It used to be great here but the last few times it’s been poor to awful. Won’t come again The two stars are for the lovely front of house staff nothing else deserved anything.
