The best restaurants in Lyme Regis West Dorset South West

Very disappointing. When we booked the table, I mentioned that I have cealiacs and they no problem. When I turned up they said that they cannot guarantee that there is no cross contamination. What a waste of a booking. Please do not say that it is suitable for cealiacs if that is not the case.

Pretty good place! Interesting range of dishes and some good veggie sides, with the ash potatoes snd padron peppers especially nice. My group (we visited last month) ordered entirely vegetarian food and, even with a relatively small menu, we enjoyed the variety of flavours on offer. It was a little pricey but ultimately the food was good quality and the intimate atmosphere and decor made the night feel special. Didn't drink myself but according to others in my group, the wine and sangria was apparently excellent! I would def recommend if you want something a bit different and don't mind paying a bit more than usual for it.

Nice relaxed atmosphere ( it is off season) so not rushed. Professional, friendly staff were most accommodating to us requesting a 'mezze' range of starters which were all excellent, complemented with recommendations for wine paring. Had an excellent brandy to go along with end of dinner coffee.. highly recommended...thanks Millside :)

I'm an absolute snob when it comes to ice cream, and normally very critical, but this was lovely ice cream. We enjoyed both the maple and walnut, and the brown sugar - the latter was vegan but it certainly didn't 'taste vegan'! Fab sustainable packaging too.

I had the Marie rose prawn salad which was delicious - fresh and tasty and the bread was so good. My partner had the weekend special smoked mackerel sandwich on white sourdough. I tried some myself and it was mouthwateringly unreal. And now he won't shut up about how it's one of the best sandwiches he's ever eaten!

Nice traditional type pub. Did not eat here.

Warm welcome for us and our spaniels, polite, friendly chap took us to a table. We chose a medium breakfast, ( sausage, bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomato and beans with two toast and butter) a BLT sandwich (which was huge) and two teas. Everything arrived quickly, everything was tasty and plenty of it. The chap came across to check that all was OK, and it was. The bill was about £25 which for what we had, was good value. This was our second visit, we will certainly be back for a third.

We were warmly welcomed and quickly shown to a table. One of us had the home made potato and leek soup with a huge slice of bread which was absolutely lovely. The others had a pot of tea with teacakes. The teapot was full and a jug of hot water as well. We were also given treats for the dog. A quaint place would highly recommend

Not the fastest service, but a clean comfortable well laid out restaurant. The liked the atmosphere and choice of background music which presented well the Italian theme. Pity the staff don't have a uniform to match. The food was absolutely fine.

I've used this café several times over the years. Always a friendly welcome and a good selection of food. Prices are also reasonable which is more than can be said about a lot of the other eateries in Lyme Regis.

Epic gluten free chips in a separate frier and gluten free vinegar. Best of all it was a massive portion! Will def be back soon

Visit this for a take away after looking at the ranges of take aways close to where we were staying and was not disappointed, lots of different choices to choose from and the food was amazing very filling would definitely return if we came back to Lyme

We recently had a gorgeous brekkie by the beach at Toms, but this weekend im so happy we ventured inside as I didn't know it had so much more to offer inside! I had an exceptional Margarita cocktail, and my fiancé had a whisky served with its own glass of ice and tongs. The venue’s attention to detail is evident everywhere—from the crisp white napkins and stunning wine glasses to the thoughtfully curated menu. We've already enjoyed an amazing breakfast here, and I cannot wait to get dolled up and come back to check out the evening food and vibe. The staff and owners are really friendly and know what they are doing, you just feel part of something special. Elegant dining with the best views.
