The best restaurants in Tormohun Torbay South West

Update on this area (Sept 24)-Staff changes have improved the experience. There's self service machines but don't use them as always seems rude to the staff member and they are in front of the service area which always seems a little odd but they are there if needed. Some seating areas inside and out. Generally a more positive experience than previously where there were foreign workers who would talk in there own language and not interact with customers but these workers have not been seen for some time.

They didn't want to give us a table for 8 and the entire restaurant was almost empty, there was just 4 persons inside the restaurant and we were very hungry. We went to ask if they had space for us and without hesitation he said no .

Ordered and got refused, still kept the money and gave us a run around about the food. 4 days later. No food, no refund. Avoid at all costs

Good food and customer service especially from Jamie. Thank you for going out of the way to rescue Monty’s coat from behind the booth seating, very kind. Regarding service: was welcomed warmly, food delivered in good time, condiments offered and check back completed. Come work for me?!

Can’t park because of delivery workers ‘ we turned up with 3 Kids and had nowhere to park ‘ we waited a while and counted 7 delivery drivers picking up food ‘ they should be made to park up the road in Denelm MIll ‘ we left and spent our money in KFC in Paignton ‘ shame u can’t post a picture of what we saw

Waited 20 mins for drinks. Split the coffee as it arrived. Food looked like it was frozen food not fresh. Save yourself time and do not come here. The chef is clearly incompetent.

Complete rip off order a large kebab and got a very small one. Confronted the restaurant and they said it was large. Absolute joke it wasn't ever a decent size small. Stay clear complete con artists

The stingy owner only gave me half a sausage on each half of my sandwich which equals to only 1 whole sausage out of a packet where as if you was to come on holiday to my home town birmingham we give u 4 sausages when you order a sandwich like most cafes do but this 1 was poor nd bankrupt I wouldn't even tell my dying emeny to eat there stay aways people save you money

Food okay but over priced and just okay. Hot drink wasn’t great. Staff are one extreme to another, either great or rude. Doesn’t accept cash!

DISGUSTING!!! Ordered 1/4 duck but had hardly any meat mostly skin. For one of the most expensive meals on the menu we were extremely disappointed. Spoke to the owner who clearly didn’t care and told us that’s how he received it. Appalling attitude towards what was a regular customer. I will never use this Chinese again.

Breakfast choice a appalling. Considering they have a well stock M & S Food Hall downstairs. Rarely have a range of breakfast pastries, and M & S bake so many great pastries! Lucky if you’re able to get a plain croissant. Maybe they just want people to buy hot breakfasts? The service is painfully slow. Never sufficient staff. I would imagine this is why so many are not customer orientated and grumpy. I hasten to add this is not all staff. I do love their coffee and food, just need to widen the range, get more staff and speed up the system.

Food was good and reasonably priced, typical cafe menu and food. What’s sets this apart is the wonderful view from the terrace, we could have spent ages up there watching boats and jet skis in the sunshine
