Gutted, it has closed down! Went to an alternative trendy and pricey one and regretted it, hope you are enjoying your retirement guys, probably won't be returning to Ashburton, shame!

Fantastic bakery, cakes and bread were top quality. Good range of products that are produced in the premises . You can tell how great the cakes and breads etc are by how busy it is.

Wonderful greeting, with very good coffee and breakfast. Very clean and friendly place on a busy little high street with parking just down the road.

Lovely unique interior and food very pleasant and staff very friendly, working hard in these difficult times to make the business work. Please support the independent businesses.

I bought delicious jam and fair trade ground coffee. Lots of different whole foods and products to discover.

Really great ice cream with some very original flavours. Soft serve, scoops and take home tubs. Some of the flavours are sometimes a bit left field for me but they do a roaring trade so …. Variety is obviously much appreciated. I tend to get excited when I pop down there and find a good old plain chocolate ice cream tub for sale

This spot is honestly great. I order the beef burger fries and kebab fries and it was absolutely amazing. Perfectly balanced and wasn’t too much or too little. Recommend highly

Lovely decor and bright colours. Music to match. Seems a popular meeting place for locals, & dogs allowed too. Recommend the toasted cheese scone and butter.

Excellent fishmongers and deli. The fish is excellent. Love their scallops. Their Taramasalata is a favourite of ours with some nice bread. Very simple, but makes one of my favourite lunches. Always friendly and always good. Google just asked me to update my review. Nothing to add. As good as it always has been.

Found this place on the Vegan app. Drove past wondering if was open as it looks small from the outside but when you walk in it opens up😁. Lovely service, food and atmosphere with an approach of serving the community. There were parents playing board games and reading to their children and we had two separate people join us at our table for a quick coffee “hello” and off again. I will stop here when driving past again and if I lived here this would be my local cafe.

Had an amazing meal at Emilia- we are both vegetarian and noted this on the booking, and they had printed out a separate vegetarian menu for us which was amazing. The food was genuinely delicious, and the decor is very cosy and stylish. The wine list looked great and I was sad we couldn’t get a bottle as I was driving! Whilst I loved being able to see the open kitchen, the only thing that I would improve is the ventilation/extractor fan. All my clothes after smelt very strongly of kitchen (like fat/garlic) including a cardigan I was hoping to wear for the rest of this trip. There was a lot of condensation on the windows so maybe something that sucks the air out over the hob a little better for winter when the windows are closed. I’d still go again though the food was amazing

Such a lush find! We love 10 minutes from ash Burton, but haven't visited in a while. We decided to stop for breakfast and a drink this morning. We ordered the old library breakfast each and I had a hot chocolate. All of this was made fresh, to such a high quality. The staff were all warm and welcoming and very helpful too. We were served so quick and we will be back to try the homemade cakes, which looked incredible! Thanks again 😁

Coljans is a wonderful all the quality restaurant with delicious food and particularly friendly and warm atmosphere. I always enjoyed visiting.
