The best restaurants in Ashburton and Buckfastleigh Teignbridge South West

Gutted, it has closed down! Went to an alternative trendy and pricey one and regretted it, hope you are enjoying your retirement guys, probably won't be returning to Ashburton, shame!

Wonderful greeting, with very good coffee and breakfast. Very clean and friendly place on a busy little high street with parking just down the road.

Now called Jenny's Café. Food was brilliant (the best hadh browns!), environment was clean, friendly & welcoming. My new local fave!

I bought delicious jam and fair trade ground coffee. Lots of different whole foods and products to discover.

I have seen on instagram many times and follow but never been until today and what a treat their mince pies I would absolutely recommend. We also had a ham chilli cheese savoury. Very good in fact delicious, we will be back

This spot is honestly great. I order the beef burger fries and kebab fries and it was absolutely amazing. Perfectly balanced and wasn’t too much or too little. Recommend highly

Fantastic bakery, cakes and bread were top quality. Good range of products that are produced in the premises . You can tell how great the cakes and breads etc are by how busy it is.

We turned up with a group of 15. No complaints - they cooked excellent food for us quickly and to a high standard. They also let us use an indoor space to eat. Great service, great food and very freindly.

Lovely decor and bright colours. Music to match. Seems a popular meeting place for locals, & dogs allowed too. Recommend the toasted cheese scone and butter.

Excellent fishmongers and deli. The fish is excellent. Love their scallops. Their Taramasalata is a favourite of ours with some nice bread. Very simple, but makes one of my favourite lunches. Always friendly and always good. Google just asked me to update my review. Nothing to add. As good as it always has been.

Met a friend for afternoon tea what a gem off the main road in Ashburton. Quirky, unique. The most yummy cakes, delightful teapot, cute sunny garden and friendly service. I’m coming back to sample the meals.

Service was so helpful and relaxed feel. Food was amazing and we tried food and flavours we had not done before. My mum is well traveled and was very impressed with this gem of a restaurant! Perfect lunch out. Thanks all.

Such a lush find! We love 10 minutes from ash Burton, but haven't visited in a while. We decided to stop for breakfast and a drink this morning. We ordered the old library breakfast each and I had a hot chocolate. All of this was made fresh, to such a high quality. The staff were all warm and welcoming and very helpful too. We were served so quick and we will be back to try the homemade cakes, which looked incredible! Thanks again 😁

Coljans is a wonderful all the quality restaurant with delicious food and particularly friendly and warm atmosphere. I always enjoyed visiting.
