Was so looking forward to eating here as had heard rave reviews. Sadly it was a disappointment. Menu was different to that online (changed ownership??), and a basic pub menu was on offer. No steak, run out. Chicken burger was incredibly dry and tasteless, mashed potato with lamb was a grey colour and the staff did not seem to understand gluten free. Highly unlikely to return.

I can't recommend this place highly enough if we lived anywhere near we would definitely return. The service was great, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere it has an amazing beer garden and the food is amazing. Well done to all who work here is a credit to you all and shows how much care is taken.

Came in with my partner for my birthday and was warmly welcomed by the staff. My partner is celiac and all the staff were very supportive and advised us on what they could do gluten free. The food was incredible and the portion sizes were huge. Would highly recommend this place and we will certainly be returning again and again.

Placed an order for delivery. It never arrived. Did confirm the correct address. They stated they sent it. Someone answered and said never ordered anything. When I stated I was here all night…they changed the story and said they wrong the bell and no one answered. Clearly delivered to the wrong address. The person I spoke to was rude and clearly did not care and had zero respect as spoke to me like a piece of dirt from the start. Kept interrupting and refused to re send order or refund my money. Do not go to or use this restaurant. Clearly do not care about customers and just want your money. If they make a mistake they WILL NOT rectify it.

Used to be great, but our last experience was an absolute parody of a terrible restaurant. We ordered for delivery. An hour and a half after we placed the order, we start wondering what's going on and try to phone the restaurant multiple times. No answer. No call back. Two hours after the order was placed, we get a text from the driver saying he's arrived... but somewhere else. After getting dressed to meet him in this location away from our house, we finally sit down to eat. The food is stone cold and dried to the point that it's unpalatable. Literally unpalatable - as in too dry to even chew properly. I'd initially assumed that the reason it was late was because there was a delay in the kitchen. I didn't for a moment think that any restaurant would prepare a meal upon receiving an order and then let it sit around on a counter for two hours before sending a driver out to deliver it. That's absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. I don't know why they think they can get away with something like this as if it's a perfectly normal way of running a business that sells food. The cherry on top is that they never answered the phone when we wanted to ask about how this happened, so they can hear it all through this review instead. UPDATE: Regarding the response from Gordon below, I appreciate the assurances that everything that went wrong was actually the fault of the third party takeaway service and that none of this would have happened if we'd ordered directly through the restaurant's website. There's just one tiny problem. We DID order directly through the restaurant's website. :^)
