Very good takeaway but no resteraunt. Plenty of food and good quality

Think this was the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Ribs were so fatty that every bite was soft and squishy. Curry was cold with basically no prawns in whatsoever and the rice tasted microwaved. The man was nice I must admit but the inside of the takeaway felt very dirty and just not up to standard. I’m not really sure what everyone is raving about. I’m not from here so maybe this is really the “best” around here but the standards must be low.

Best Chinese takeaway in Somerset. I’ve tried about 10 others in taunton/Wellington and surrounding areas, so far Jade Garden has been the best! And they do proper BBQ sauce not that orange rubbish!

Excellent takeaway and a go to every time. A place with great quality food only surpassed by the pleasantness and kindness of the staff there. If you want take away in Wellington this is the ONLY place to go ☺

Lovely fresh cooked food. No MSG gloopiness. We never have to wait longer than 20 minutes. The food is always well packed to maintain freshness. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The man who works behind the counter is arguably the most rude individual I have ever encountered in the catering industry. He is rude on the phone and rude in the shop. He actually HUNG UP on us whilst placing an order because we asked if they still offered a duck dish that used to be available. We then called back to be greeted with "what do you want". How do you possibly think it's acceptable to get annoyed at paying customers for this type of thing when you don't even provide an online menu?!? And it is not just me, you have also hung up on many other people. Your attitude is a real problem and the reason why so many people have stopped ordering from your takeaway. PS: take a look at their food hygiene rating before ordering.

The gentleman is not lovely but the food is wonderful… and they have good price!

I always enjoy the food here more than the others,. But it's true about the menu, I added some photos of one I found behind the washing machine so prices might be out. Recommend the Nasi Goreng

I have tried to order from Jade Garden several times over the past year or so but as they have no online presence, don't answer the phone, don't have menus online or to give out they clearly don't want my custom.

Several meals here. Ranging from excellent to below par. The ordering process is laborious. (Dont answer phone/ Only take cash/ No menus online)

The family decided they wanted a chinese meal on Saturday evening and they placed a huge order. I went to collect and pay at the suggested time and when I turned up (where I'm known as 'Hannahs Dad's all was ready to take back home complete with prawn crackers.

It's okay. It is nice to sit in the garden out back.

Takeaway menus need updating. We went in to order and many of the set meals weren't available as were some of the other things such as half a duck resulting in higher charges ordering separately. Chinese food itself was nice but nothing wow. Suspect there are better Chinese takeaways around.

Food was given rave reviews by previous customers, so as a stranger to the town I headed there to grab a takeaway menu. Upon entering, I was told they didn't have any, even though there was one on a clip by the kitchen. I asked to borrow it to show my wife who was unable to leave the house and got a flat "No, it's mine and the last one". The food I eventually ordered was OK but the attitude spoilt the experience. A good place to go if you enjoy surly service!

Fantastic Meal This is the best Chinese Takeaway in Wellie, just had the best ever meal and we go there a lot. the service you get is second to none, always happy cheerful, food is piping hot and plentiful, there is only one place and that is Jade Gardens.

I have been a valid customer of Jade Garden for many years. However, I have never been spoken to so rudely before for simply trying to place an order and enquiring whether they do duck chowmein !!!! Confused? So am I. I was told to go elsewhere as I clearly didn't mean to be ordering from them in the first place.....what? I couldn't quite believe what I was hearing...... I am appalled by the customer service I have just received and have always recommend Jade Garden....... No more!

There food is lovely , but to park your car near bye is no good . It's best walking to get your food . Because car park is a bit far , and your food will be cold by the time you get back to your car .

Friendly service. Great Chinese takeaway.

Tasty food, friendly efficient staff, well priced, good menu choice, only downside is its cash only and parking close is always difficult.

No card payment nearest cash point is into high street. Way too much sugar syrup in all foods. We ordered beef in black pepper and black bean sauce and a spicy Thai beef. Can't understand need for all the sugar. Service was good and the lady owner was pleasant and wishes us well.

I ordered fish and chips Sunday evening was told they would take 10 mins to cook, great! Freshly cooked food lovely I drove the 5 miles home opened them up to find the batter was rock hard and dripping with grease inside The chips looked like they had been cooked the day before and where greasy and inedible If I lived closer I would have demanded a refund I will never visit jade garden again

The best Chinese in the southwest, friendly helpful people, great food that is tasty and comes in large portions, along side also being well priced. You can't go wrong with this place! Give it a try you won't regret it !

Great takeaway and brilliant service

hi all in Jade, just to say we had a take away on sat 30 sept, we had friends round so changed our usual menu, would just like to say what a brilliant meal it was, your meals are always the best but this little lot was excellent, we had pork curry, fried beef with garlic/chilli sauce plus the usual cripy chillie beef and pancake rolls, the best in Wellie, staff are brilliant friendly
