Costa Coffee in Taunton Deane

Quality seems to have gone down in the last 18 months, the hot chocolate now tastes watery and millionaires slices are definitely smaller

Basically the usual high standard of service, from my local costa

service is usually good here. costa food is a bit crap imho but the coffee is good.

AVOID THIS PLACE. Despite giving them my custom I now have to pay a £100 parking fine. I WILL NEVER VISIT ANY COSTA COFFEE STORE AGAIN. Great PR Costa Coffee!

I have a business on the nearby trading estate and met colleagues for coffee. Bought two rounds of coffees plus snacks and then served with a £60 fine for parking in the car park.

double espresso served in a cold cup...come on guys it ain't rocket science..

Impromtu stop for refreshments took us to this Costa, very warm and friendly welcome from the staff. Happy to share a laugh and a joke. Definitely on my places to return when I'm next in the area 👍

It was teatime and quiet. Good service and delicious coffee. Did not have anything else.

Not the best Costa I've been to. All Costa C's are too expensive.

NEVER GO HERE!!!! I did, and received a £100 parking fine. I had no idea that the car park was run by fascist, money-grabbing crooks who limit the time you can enjoy a social coffee with friends to 90 minutes. Am incandescent with rage. Cheers Costa, and a very Happy New Year to you too. Next time, maybe stick a notice on the counter at the til to inform your customers they’re going to be ripped off?!

Was a regular customer but received a parking fine while here grabbing a drink and some food with a mate, before i knew it the fine has gone up to £170. Thats one expensive coffee haha, to avoid this in future i will just stay away from this costa. Not worth the risk.

I’m a regular customer here nice staff BUT recently received 2 parking fines and the staff are unable to cancel them, I blame the management they have put in a new parking system but don’t have anything in place for when a customer gets caught out by the new 90 minute parking limit, it’s now with their customer services and if they don’t sort it me and my friends will be going somewhere where they actually appreciate our business

A nice,calm and quiet costa. We stay nearby fairly regularly so this costa has become our preferred breakfast spot. It is always clean and all the food looks well presented. Staff are friendly and chatty. We've got food allergies in our group and they are really accommodating. There seems to be a lot of regular customers that use this costa and they all chat to each other. A really nice place to have your morning coffee.

Wouldn't go here if you want to meet a friend for a catch up . Got a hefty Parking fine didn't realise you could only stay 1hr 30 minutes even if your a paying customer. Showed manager proof that I had spend money in store but she didn't help. Won't be meeting friends or spending money here again. I will take my custom to sheppys or rumwell, rumwell even have a take away hatch now and no parking fines there .win win

A really nice Costa store with friendly and welcoming staff. The drinks and food is delicious and presented professionally. The decor and seating is comfortable and cosy which makes the whole experience of drinking and eating here that extra special. Certainly one of the jewels in the Costa companies crown.

It was a rubbish experience as a celiac my choices were between 3 little sweet things a brownie or a shortbread or something else,I certainly won't be hurrying back.

Tidy and fast, exactly what you want from a drive through Costa. The staff were very friendly and quick. Recommended if you are passing by.

A stop off for coffee. This costa is next to a used car lot and a McDonalds. Only outdoor seating is in the shade. It also has a drive though.

It's a costa alot for coffee. It was ok not the best I've been not the worse. Place wasn't clean staff was rushed off there feet. Under staffed under paid. Food was cold even tho was ment to be a hot panni. Atmosphere was bad cause the tables were dirty and very loud

Visited twice this morning. Initially for a takeaway cofee, car park was quite full but it was still "rush hour". Second visit was about 10.15am for sit in coffee plenty of space inside and no queue. Pleasant friendly staff and atmosphere.

Had a lovely skinny latté and cappuccino, with a Xmas tart.

Stopped using this Costa due to inconsistency of drinks. Flat whites often taste like a very weak late. Staff training required.

This was the oasis in our desert. After being stuck for 7 hours on the motorway due to resurfacing after an RTA we were diverted past this way. Never has a coffee and toastie been so welcome. Topped off by very polite, friendly staff.

Staff pleasant and helpful. Typical Costa food and drinks. Always expensive for what you get. Bacon in bacon bap was awful. Didnt even look like bacon. Daughter had a sausage bap which looked and tasted far better. Toilet facilities limited......one toilet for everyone and one accessible. 10.30am and it definitely needed a clean!

Ok, drink was disappointing, recipe was not followed as i have the same drink very regularly and know what its supposed to taste/look like.

Slightly slow service but in general all good

First time trip to the drive through costa. Some inside seating. The table was not that clean and did not look like it has been wiped between customers which is a shame. Friendly staff who were very helpful with dietary requirements.

Nice Costa all new and easy parking. Staff all friendly apart from one guy who works in there who always appears stressed grumpy and quite rude. Would be 4 star otherwise.

Great new Costa with drive through.Small number of Tables (about 6) due to covid restrictions. Close to M5 junction 26, 2 minutes. Staff really friendly and helpful. My go to if in this area.

When first opened was a lovely store. I have no issue with the service or the products but the cleanliness has taken a massive nose dive. Tables that say they have been sanitised are still covered in crumbs and the toilet looks like it hasn't been cleaned properly in months. Always have to clean it myself before using. I used to work in coffee shops so know the nightmare of keeping things clean, but it seems like the toilets get a quick once over and that's it (the toilet seat is wiped). I would have thought being in the situation we are all in the cleaning would be stepped up not forgotten about.

Worst Costa I have ever had. Coffee was so poor I actually threw it away, very weak and more like insipid milk. Will never use drive thru again for coffee experience. Might be 06.55hrs experience. Cheers Si

Amazing staff extremely friendly and fast!

I had to question the hours, as they looked incorrect on Costa's app. At time of posting, hours are as follows: Drive Thru / Café Monday - Friday - 0530 - 2230 / 0530 - 2130 Saturday - 0530 - 2230 / 0530 - 2130 Sunday - 0530 - 2230 / 0530 - 2130

22.25pm closed shop and drive thru.... Even tho drive thru days open until 2230

Great for coffee , relaxing and meeting up with family and friends .
