Farmers Arms in Taunton Deane

Was so looking forward to eating here as had heard rave reviews. Sadly it was a disappointment. Menu was different to that online (changed ownership??), and a basic pub menu was on offer. No steak, run out. Chicken burger was incredibly dry and tasteless, mashed potato with lamb was a grey colour and the staff did not seem to understand gluten free. Highly unlikely to return.

One nights stay at this lovely Inn ,landlady greeted us as well as staff ,very welcoming, we had an evening meal of rump steak wow it was delicious and plenty of it too 😋 we met local people who were great company, our room was huge with a full shower and roll top bath we also had a lounge area,we had a great nights sleep and a full English for breakfast in the morning would stay again as the price was very reasonable thankyou Zoe and staff xxx

A great pub tucked away with fabulous views, great food and service. We stopped for lunch which had a good selection. The staff were super friendly, nothing was too much trouble. It's good for dogs with a large garden and plenty of water bowls for them.

Stopped here for lunch. Lovely location and great food, would definitely come here for an evening

A gem of a pub. One of the few remaining authentic country taverns.

Arrived late from Manchester and the good lady ,gent and girl behind the bar couldn't do enough absolutely brilliant, top people top food aswell ,best burger and real ale 😀 👌

Great people although a bit short staffed. Really tried hard and made you feel welcome. Rooms are good and clean , great stay, we will go back.

A very lovely experience on out visit to Somerset. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The food portions were really big and the food was amazing! Nice country pub with great music!

We had an amazing meal for our 1st wedding anniversary, lovely atmosphere, great service, would highly recommend it to people 😀

Had a wonderful stay, good sized clean rooms in a lovely location. (Showers were amazing) New owners are very friendly and welcoming, pub food was fantastic for evening meals (lamb shank was out of this world) and a couple of good local pints. Huge full english breakfast was perfect. Couldn't fault this place! Will be back. Dog friendly !!!

Good quality food and great atmosphere. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Lunch today: lacklustre burger and chips, nice salad on side. Same price as fresh off the boat fish and chips in touristy West Bay. Lovely place, staff very friendly and apologetic: 45 minute wait for food. Busy apparently although similar delay a few weeks ago with no other customers.

Excellent country pub friendly staff good food and real ales.

We stayed here in our motorhome a couple of days ago. Free to stay in the car park. There is a lovely atmosphere in the pub, everyone is so friendly. The food was delicious & very good value. Would highly recommend The Farmers Arms 👌

New owners are making good progress in putting the spark back into this pub. Love the place. Sunday roast is very good with available Sunday papers of you forget your own. Winter evenings by the wood burner, love it.

This is a really great pub. The staff are very friendly and they have a lovely fireplace with comfy settees around it. Parking is excellent and the Landlady a charm. The location is awesome, nicely located away from the hustle and bustle , and close to wonderful walking routes. Best of all they have really great free Internet wifi, and considering how remote they are , its very quick. It's provided by SpaceX Starlink. Amazing.

Very friendly place, had a very nice meal and stayed our motorhome overnight in the carpark.

Really friendly, and accommodating. We went to watch the rugby, and ate some great pub grub in the process. Family friendly.

A great place to go for a meal. Super service from friendly and helpful staff. Location is in the middle of the countryside and head gear views. Food was fantastic on the Sunday a small selection but what there was, was really really good, good sized portions which tasted wonderful. A fair selection of wonders and beers was available. As a note the pub is really dog friendly for well behaved dogs.

We stayed here in our motorhome - very friendly welcome and service and we loved the Indian food; great to have this as a choice alongside traditional dishes.

Didn't stay, just went for supper. Lovely people, great food, will return.
