Great locals pub and I always support my local. Friendly and accessible..

Outside food allowed, locals pub, people friendly. Good car park.

Just been to The Bell in for Steak night and it did not Disappoint. Fabulous front garden too, which from talking to Jordan the landlord too is currently under going an extension for a kids play area. We will definitely be back thank you.

First time in this pub today, lovely lady behind the bar, great atmosphere and locals, it's a proper pub. Cant wait to try the food and will definitely be back

The place needs a good clean and decorating throughout, shame it has the potential for a lovely pub. If it's tidyed up. Even cut the grass and weed the inner garden.

I have had such a great experience in this pub I have enjoyed every moment such as the food and the drinking so I would advise to come here because it’s such a beautiful place and the people are genuine

Good customers and service with beer fine but the decor is poor even if improvements are in progress.

After arriving Sunday afternoon and unable to find a local pub serving food on a Sunday evening we found the bell inn. We walked 5 miles to get there and we were not disappointed. The bar staff were welcoming and accommodating, helping us to arrange a taxi journey for the way home. The food was spectacular all freshly made. The locals in the pub were friendly and chatty. Unfortunately the taxi company were unable to drop us home so the landlord kindly dropped us back to were we staying. As we are from London honestly shocked at the amount kindness from strangers to help us in the pub. Will be returning soon!!

Was a great pub. Now looking very scruffy and run down. Men's loo disgusting. The night is was there some of the clientele were out of control and the appalling language from some went unchecked by the attending staff. A woman using the 'C' word several times is not acceptable. I will not be returning any time soon.

Lovely owners, cosy pub with Great food!

Visited with walking group. We were well looked after and had excellent meals at reasonable prices. Would thoroughly recommend.

This place serves a great range of rotating real ales, most of them are local and Daniel will ensure that they are well kept. The food that he does is also great and he never has a meal sent back to the kitchen! There is an expanding range of Gins and Rums and each week there is always something new to try for everyone! Daniel does steak Wednesday, based on a Portuguese theme, and booking is essential as it's so popular - just as popular as the pub dog Bailey is! When I have been there I have been in agreement with everyone else and can't believe how much work Daniel does to make the place a great place and be part of the village community

Having eaten here on a few occasions I cannot fault he place. Amazing food that can suit all tastes and allergens!!! A rarity in Taunton! Well priced drinks with plenty to offer for all tastes and an almost underpriced menu for the locally sourced food available. Keep up the incredible work guys!!!

A local small village pub just off the M5. Nice ales ciders on draft. Nice pub food, burgers, chips, hotdogs. Nice beer garden.

Just had a Steak... 2 for £15 on a wednesday from 7pm. OMG I can honestly say it was the best meal i've had for a long time... apart from what i cook myself obviously!! Steak, chips (in my case a salad instead as im a fat cow!!) Onion rings, grilled tomato and a garnish. So worth the money and cooked on a skillet with garlic if you like it. Amazing!!!

Went on a rainy Sunday afternoon and the atmosphere was great.

Fancy dressing up? Fancy winning prizes? Well, it sure happens here! Uber generous, no nonsense landlord and occasionally the landlady too, both not too fashion conscious and kick out time is dependent on when the last person leaves. Partake in the super hard quiz, which includes maths questions that maths teacher's can't answer, takes place every fortnight. The new menu is awesome, the landlord creates a great easy to read, comical menu, generous helpings and tied in with film Friday or live sport on the big projector, you're always in for a great and late (if you don't fall asleep) night.

Uninspiring lounge bar and didn't serve food at lunchtime (I should have checked beforehand of course). Cold and unwelcoming.

Great staff. Warm friendly atmosphere. Often you find in country pubs if your a stranger they're not too welcoming, this place is a real exception. Steak night on wednesday is a bargain and a delightful pleasure.

Went on a steak night and food was very good would go again, hopefully it'll be a bit busier next time so I can get a feel of its atmosphere.

Perfectly placed for lunch after a canal walk, and a dog friendly bar. Service was excellent and landlady extremely welcoming. Comfortable surroundings and an expectation of reasonable pub grub but the food was outstanding. We both had pork and a thatchers gravy and it was delicious. Will most definitely visit again.

Have been to The Bell many times...always a friendly and warm welcome, well priced Beer (and Gin) and a great range of Burgers and varying specials from the board! Brilliant :)
