The best restaurants in Swindon South West

McDonald's is a very mid place, but lemme tell ya, that famed D & o are the real highlight here. Getting to see those two restored to glory, truly heartwarming and made my day.

Staff incompetent, on a 30cm sub 4 olives and 10 corn grains. Most of them don't speak German. Unpleasant stay

Lovely pizza, friendly staff., seemed to be tasiest pizza and garlic pizza had from there . Amazing

The takeaway we had tonight was dreadful. We have travelled extensively, including China, and this was the worst Chinese meal we have had. The crispy duck was not a full portion and was more like duck scratchings . The box it came in was about half full and contained burnt bits of duck. The quality of the food was very poor and we put most of it in the bin. We will never purchase food from the outlet ever again although we live very close. The takeaway is ripoff - don’t get caught out.

No greeter. We found our table ourselves. Nothing to say you had to order and pay at the bar. Long queue for that. Service was atrocious. An hour and a half after arrival we only had starters. Asked server for our mains and they took a further 20 minutes. Mediocre food.

Me and wife had large breakfast. Wife's beans were solidified together, burnt on bottom. All 4 fried eggs were solid and rubbery. Bacon so under cooked I heard it oink. When we complained all we got was . " I will mention it to the chef" . Like that's gonna change anything. 1 star. Nuffield said.

Went to pick up a cake today. Paid for in advance. The shop has CLOSED DOWN with no contact details available, no way of getting a refund and the phone number for head office has been closed down!

Delivery; 45 mins late, and stone cold. Disappointing. Shame, as once hot, nice quality pizza. (Delivery is via Uber).

I would say that everything is overpriced for what your getting. Nothing wowed me. My son had vanilla ice cream that didn't taste good at all, also had shards of ice throughout like it had been re frozen again and again. Something so simple but tasted bad and expensive. Best bet is to buy yourself a good tub of ice cream from any supermarket and enjoy!

Girls behind the bar upstairs were absolutely miserable like they didn’t even want to be there . No smile when greeted just a yeah what do you want .

Shame it never made it to the bottom of the list as the worst restaurant in Swindon, but it was heading there before the owner was sent to prison.

Fun and friendly staff, ordered meal at the till and surprised with how fast the food came out, very much enjoyed it too. Ordered desert from the table via the app, not used the app before so not sure if it's normally temperamental or not but they didn't seem to get the order through. Wasn't a huge deal to us but we got our deserts instantly after speaking to a waiter and were offered a cheesecake as a way of apology for the delay. Cheers guys!!

We thought we’d have a coffee and cake before starting our shopping, but wished we hadn’t. The cappuccinos were disgusting, certainly the worst we have ever had. There was no froth and the coffee itself was weak and watery. It left a horrible taste in my mouth. On the plus side the pastry was nice but certainly did not make up for the coffee and we won’t be going there again. The free coffee from the machine is better than the one paid for.

The team here are so welcoming, no matter how busy they are they are cheery. An asset to west Swindon

Lovely food so flavourful all the spices and tastes absolutely delicious. Lovely staff very polite and helpful with dish choices from menu.
