Popped in just after opening this morning….what engaging & lovely staff. She greeted everyone & was amazing with her regular customers. Such a warm welcome.

Having visited Costa branches all over the UK over the years, I find the West Swindon branch exceptional. From manager Issy, through all the excellent staff, you are always greeted with a friendly welcome and efficient service. The shop is always spotlessly clean, as are the customer toilets. I now visit five or six days a week, and always enjoy my time there. It's a branch that go the extra mile to ensure a pleasurable experience. It has a 5* food hygiene rating too.

Visited Costa Orbital Swindon today for an hour or so and saw 3 tables leave and then cleared but the waiter. He set the table ready to use again but didn’t wipe or sanitize any of them allowing people to re-use. Covid is one thing, and it doesn’t bother me. But the fact the tables aren’t wiped clean is pretty poor. To be fair, he was too busy doing his hair in the mirror and then checking himself out.

Met up with friends for drinks at Costa Coffee in West Swindon district centre. Hand sanitizer stations and social distancing floor markers in place. Whilst the hot chocolate was nice, the Barista couldn't follow simple instructions for how we wanted it. Mentioned this to the guy who brought the drinks out and he simply said not again. More staff training me thinks!

We went into the costa coffee at the orbital centre. We asked for vanilla lattes but they were initially made without the vanilla syrup and it had to be added after. The tray was swimming in water and our cutlery was placed on that. One of the teaspoons was already dirty with coffee and had to be changed. The coffees were not very hot and one of our guests ended up with a very bad stomach shortly after having the coffee. Won’t be back!

Lovely friendly staff, always so happy and go above and beyond to make sure it's a visit to remember. Asda West swindon district centre Costa has just had a refurb and it is so much better, more seating and very comfortable seating. If your in Asda, pop in and treat yourself youwont be dissapointed

Popped into Costa Coffee in West Swindon for lunch - however, as they no longer do Gluten Free sandwiches, ended up going hungry. The Cafe Latte with Vanilla Flavour was exactly as you'd expect from a Costa - just a shame that a coffee chain like costa no longer bother to do Gluten Free Sandwiches!

Poorly made chai latte, I said no cinnamon on top when I ordered but they gave me a chai with cinnamon. Took that back for a replacement as I don’t like cinnamon on top and staff member got shirty with me even though they cocked the order up! The second chai wasn’t great not the usual standard I am used to at other Costas. I was offended how the staff member got shirty me as there was no need for it. Safe to say I won’t be returning.

I visiting Costa in the Orbital centre later afternoon last Friday. There was a little wait then I was greeted my a very friendly lady ( badge said assistant manager but I can’t remember the name ). I made my order and as I was doing do the lady made friendly conversation asking how my day had been. I decided to have a cake but was indecisive, the lady was very patient. The atmosphere in the store was very relaxed. Overall a very nice and genuine experience. Credit to the young lady who served me and gave me such a professional yet comfortable experience. Overall I would definitely recommend this establishment for a coffee ( or tea ) and a break. A nice atmosphere with quality coffee and cakes.

When I go shopping at Asda it is quite nice to get a drink from this Costa. There is always a queue which puts me off getting a drink here. I don't know why this is but it is very annoying. Other than that a standard Costa Coffee could be anywhere in the country.

Probably Swindon's best Costa, really helpful staff. Very friendly and thoughtful. Can get busy but lots of seating in the main plaza area too. Toasties and porridge are always great hot snacks on the go here too.

Passing through the West Swindon Shopping Center, stopped off for a coffee with the kids. Nice enough Costa Coffee - all as you'd expect. Slight issue with being served the wrong size of Café Latte, normally this would annoy, but the way the barista apologised and rectified the issue was top notch - thank you. Comfy seats to watch the world go by.

Given that we visited around lunchtime, 12.30ish there were only two staff on, that we saw. At least a 10 minute queue wait to be served a luke warm cappuccino and chai latte. This we didn't realise until we got to sit down and try our drinks and we didn't want to wait again to have our drinks redone. Friendly enough staff but service ridiculous for that time of day.

Costa coffee is always great (unless you try a new blend). This one was everything you expect, friendly staff and quick service given we had a large order. Couldn't fault.

left after having waited 5 minutes in a queue without moving, I have had a costa card for about 4 years however this wa very slow left after queueing for 5 minutes

all the reviews are giving poor as they got no clue. this is a fantastic place iv been going since it opened and it has been and the disabled toilet is clean and fine. if anyone got any issues speak to the managers and they will sort it out.

Had no problem with this outlet. Staff are more than happy to help out. Also help disabled customers. More than ive seen in other coffee outlets

My coffee was weak and luke warm. My danish was stale. Need I say more? This was not a good experience

Hoy a las 12 en el llamado. 30 para un café mientras espera para una reunión. Yo disided para visitar la wc antes de coger mi café como soy discapacitado he usado el wc discapacitados era repugnante, tanto que me hizo sentir enfermo. Miré el servicios de limpieza rota y aunque el rota se completó para ayer (lunes) el rota estaba completamente en blanco para hoy! ! ! ! ! "

Nos encontramos en el centro de asda ayer (lunes), ya que recientemente han evitado la calidad, esperábamos que hubiera mejorado.

We go to the west Swindon Costa quite frequently but today was not the enjoyable coffee break that we have had in the past. My cappuccino looked good but when I tasted it the coffee was lacking on taste! I returned it is the servery and they quickly said that they would make a replacement and bring it to our table this they did but the coffee was no better ( and now the milk over powered the drink). As my wife had now finished her drink I returned my drink back to the service and explained that the drink was in fact inferior to the first one.

i go there everyday. since its opening day. never had any issues. go to another costa coffee and my order...

Impromptu visit to Royal Wootton Bassett Costa. Always clean and friendly with my favourite Flat White coffee. Easy access with outdoor smoking area. Very friendly staff who are most helpful.

The queue was nearly to the tables at the entrance. Nothing new there. So i asked for a large tea to take away and they started with a small. I mentioned it so instead of starting again, the female manager poured it into another cup complete with any contaminants from the other cup. Surely you start from fresh? Like you would if it was coffee ? To top it off the toffee latte was cold as well. This place just gets worse and worse. Thankfully other costa's and starbucks are not far away.

Try chatting less and serving your customers at 18:10 05/05/15. When the staff finally served us they got the order wrong !! I managed to do my shopping and put it in the car and my partner finally had just sat down then i got back.

The usual Costa mix, but I always find the staff here very competent and friendly. It's a pleasant place to take a break from shopping at Asda. My only criticism (and it applies to the whole Costa range) is I wish they would do some savoury or at least low sugar snacks as well as all those tempting cakes!

1 person serving, queue of 6 people in front of me. It was not a busy time of the day and they clearly had their staffing a bit wrong. I left!!

So five people in the queue, two in front and two behind me. I ordered a pot of tea and the lady behind me a latte. Five members of staff behind the desk and one clearing away. So how does the lady behind me get her latte before I get anywhere near getting a pot of tea. Truely awful !! No wonder the two people in front of me were annoyed, there order of two coffees took forever. So if they get really busy are we going to see more staff !!

I love Costa and the coffee they serve. I visit a lot of their stores. This store is one of the best in Swindon. The coffee is good and of good quality and it's well managed and run. To top it the staff are great and friendly.

I am a regular at this establishment and have regularly given feedback when asked but this site just doesn't match the others. Having to wait for them to open as they were running late was annoying but it happens. Service was good and they remembered what I have so things were going well. So I sat down a few minutes later and the table still had yesterday's ketchup on it, the corner sofa had crumbs all over. Ok so an oversite, then I looked at the teapot that only pours one and a half cups of tea and that had stains on it as did the chipped milk jug. Not a great way to start a day especially at the prices they are asking.

Lovely choice of beverages with snacks and desserts. Always nice and clean and friendly high chairs for little ones and clean toilets

I used to go to costa a lot and if any management read this they will think I'm one of those types who always nitpick, but lately the costa chains seem to have gone downhill. Staff seem uninterested and are busy chatting amongst themselves, coffee served in dirty cups with spills over the side and the cakes were really bad. One of the staff members were on their break and were sat in the lounge bit with the customers, leaning back on her chair and listening to her headphones, texting and just looking like a typical unsociable teenager. Not very professional really. Lemon drizzle square tasted really artificial and the raspberry fondant fancie my partner had was rock hard and tasteless . It used to be worth going to costa as it was generally good but it's nothing special any more. Would much rather spend a few quid more and go to an independent coffee shop and actually eat some freshly made cake and speak to friendly staff who care. It's a real shame as this costa is in a good position in Asda and it just needs a bit more care given to the staff and ingredients in the food.

I visited this cafe on a friends day out shopping and regret it. We went in for a coffe and a cake, coffee was cold, cake was stale tasted like it had been there for a month, would of given it to a dog

A quick shopping trip topped off with a visit to Costa Coffee in Swindon central shopping centre. A scrummy cappuccino and a double espresso with a light nibble. Service was very efficient and tables clean and well attended.

This is a very expensive service.....terrible atmosphere due to lots of small chilldren and babies with their mothers who don't care how much they scream!Costa is overpriced for a self service cafe and they do not emply enough staff for a satisfactory experience.

It's always busy which is a good sign as most of them are repeat customers like ourselves. A really good place to relax during an arduous shopping trip

The visit was my first tasting of costa coffee. I did not like the bitter taste and regard its price far too expensive for what it is. I do not understand why it seems so popular, perhaps its not so crowded as many people may also share my opinion as I have never asked.

If you ever have the misfortune to be shopping in Swindon, go here for coffee.Reasonably rapid service, fairly decent coffee and a bustling atmosphere. It is fitting the ubiquitous Costa is the best option in the identikit urban hell that is Swindon's town centre.

Visited this Costa today with family. Service was very good. As you have come to expect from Costa, coffee was excellent. Place was busy but staff were efficient.

Swindon Costa's are exceptional for staff friendly service and the food is always good, comes with a free newspaper too.

It's a newly fitted shop, so in lovely condition. Comfy seats. Standard Costa food and drinks. Service ok. Makes a bit of a drab shopping centre a bit more attractive

Fifth time I've been here - tea and cake for sustenance before the weekly shop. Tea is good, cakes are lovely and the place has been nicely done out - but every single time I have had to ask for cups and milk to go with the tea. Maybe it's my fault for ordering tea in a coffee shop.
