We’ve been visiting Kingswear for three years and we stay not far from this lovely café. However, this year we are a bit confused by the menu we are not sure what is available when as they seem to have extended it to include chips we are not sure if we are able to have an English breakfast although clearly we can have baps. However, it seems all a bit muddled as to what else you can have and when!
What a delightful place to go for breakfast , we wandered in mainly because everywhere else didn’t open until 10am ,
We were very warmly welcomed , unfortunately I didn’t get the ladies name who looked after us , but she was friendly. Quirky nothing was to much trouble and the full English was freshly cooked ( we were told that because the sausages were freshly cooked there would be a wait )
Delicious local ingredients, the bubble and squeak was amazing .
Wonderful coffee
Excellent coffee and cake here while waiting for our train trip. Owner very welcoming and friendly- especially to our border terrier! Cherry blondie recommended 👍
Excellent service and the best panini in town.
We were welcomed with a warm smile and the coffee was excellent too. Friendly staff and high quality food - highly recommended!

Cannot recommend this beautiful dining experience highly enough. Absolutely superb.
From the super fresh ingredients grown on site and picked fresh each day, to the amazing organic wines sourced from around the world.
The price is very reasonable for the delicious courses and attentive service.
It was a real treat and I could happily eat here every day if I lived closer!
This lovely little coffee shop is full of charm. Staff are very friendly and the coffee is excellent. I've been going every morning since being on holiday here in Dartmouth. It's a must for any coffee lover.

Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, I've never had Japanese before, and I'm so glad we did. We had the three set menus, vegan, fish and meat. All arriving as a tray of Miso soup, four side dishes (from memory, orange & carrot, brussel sprout & bell pepper, cucumber & bean sprouts and potato salad), rice and the main. Some unique (to me) flavour combinations but each good in their own ways. I had nettle fizz to drink which cleverly balanced some of the other flavours. For dessert we had coconut panna cotta, and the Matcha sundae. The food is definitely the reason to come and the flavour experience is something I'd like more of. So why only two stars overall? As a pre-booked meal, we could have been advised at any point - including on arrival that there's no heating (so that we either come dressed for alfresco dining, or offer to provide the meal as take away), it was uncomfortably off puttingly cold. Such a shame
