This is a thriving community hub in Dartington near Totnes with excellent pizzas and innovative beer at reasonable prices. Loads of great play areas for kids and the entertainment was great - not in your face. A bit off the beaten track if you are on a Devon holiday but worth it
Working on our boat at Darthaven Marina this was a very welcome cafe where Katie greeted us with a smile and was efficient and helpful. We had numerous coffees and filled rolls which were excellent. The extra cover provided for showers during Dartmouth Regatta was particularly welcome.
Just had a delivery of smeatons smokehouse half rack of ribs and a big apple burger with extra cheddar and bacon !!
Absolutely amazing !!
The meat of the ribs just fell off the bone 🤤🤤

Stopped here along with the Community shop - This used to be Holne Community Shop and Tea Room and just opened under this new name. We’re kind enough to sell me a lovely gluten free lemon cake before opening as I was walking, really tasty!
Jackie and Jeremy are exceptional hosts who made us feel almost part of the family. I have a painful back condition, so I particularly liked the very comfortable beds in a very pleasant room. We had delicious fat free cooked breakfasts with lots of choice of fruit and cereals, etc. The Farm is situated in a very scenic part of Devon, just 1 1/2 miles from Kingsbridge. Do try this B & B - you will not be disappointed!
We were attracted to this market stall by the queue. Apart from the fresh cook-your-own options, they also serve a very limited (!) takeaway lunch menu. We opted for seafood chowder, and were not disappointed; in fact it brightened a rainy day.
This was our first visit to the Moorland Cafe despite only living 2 minutes away and we were very delighted we did!
Most beautiful views over the South Hams towards the south Devon coast, the venue was spotlessly clean and well organised, very welcoming Team and a great menu with something for everyone, will definitely be returning
We had the Fixed Price Menu which was very tasty. They accommodated a gluten free vegetarian diet with ease. The staff were friendly and explained the meals as they arrived. We will be returning.
Great cosy little place with nice food and drinks. Called in, all sweaty after a long run and was given a bottle of water without even asking. Lovely breakfasts :-)
We stayed in Kingsbridge for a few days and this was by far the best food and drink venue we visited. Awesome home brewed meads and the food was sooooo flavoursome. Thanks so much guys.
Such a great place for either a relaxing glass of wine or a fantastic Italian meal. Felt so well looked after, the service was amazing and the food was terrific.
This is a charming little cafe, tucked away behind the Old Market, well worth tracking down. Seats around ten inside and another handful outside, overlooking the little square. Excellent coffee, great bruschetta on sourdough, local cakes and toasted sandwiches. We tried the Gruyere, ham and Dijon mustard toastie, which was excellent. Fresh croissants and home-made cakes, too. Friendly, personal service.
