Easter Sunday we visited the cafe after a long walk. We had a delicious sandwich chips & cake. The staff were very friendly and nothing too much trouble. I spoke to a young lad who said it was his first day and I had to congratulate him on his service and what a great job he was doing. An absolute pleasure to visit the cafe as always and will definitely be back soon. 🤩

Really nice cafe with outside seating and view over the sea. Car parking is restricted in number so get there early. Delicious sandwiches and cakes. Service is quick and staff are friendly and helpful. Can be a few too many dogs to contend with.

Our absolute favourite place to eat. We are always welcomed with friendly, attentive staff who go above and beyond. The food is exceptional and we love the family atmosphere. We often walk down to the beach after having breakfast - the perfect location too.

Bloody love this place. So does the dog! The gluten free breakfast is always amazing and nice and hot. The staff are lovely and make great coffee. Highly recommend.

Once again had a super lunch. We seam to have something different each time as everything on the menu is yummy. Staff as always were welcoming and attentive. Food was excellent and in today’s challenging times, good value for money.

Friendly family team very welcoming and worth a visit. We stopped before and after here while walking the dog on the beach below. Good coffee and simple cafe tasty grub.

What a lovely café this is. The weather was miserable, but the welcome in the café was warm & genuine. Nice & cosy, the menu is simple but the food well turned out. We both had the full English breakfast which was well cooked, tasty & good value for money. As well as the food being great, the barista coffee is worthy of mention too. The walls feature paintings & photos of the local landscape from local artists, there is local jewellery for sale & of course cake! We visited off the back of a CurlyGaz review & well worth the visit. We'll be back when the sun is shining!

Came here for a birthday treat by my best friend. I had the chicken burger and fries. It was really good for the price. I'm hoping to return again to try something different. The staff were lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend

Great little cafe on Bovisand! Family-run with love and therefore very lovingly decorated. Unfortunately it closes at 3:00 p.m. We were there earlier, only for tea, but that's sensational.

A lovely cafe on our walking route. Yummy variety of cakes sandwiches cheesy chips and more snacks. Love the crockery of the China little cups plates and teapots. Great view. Lovely staff. Tea a bit week maybe less water in the teapots would have been better as l like strong tea . Lots of craft bits to buy. Lovey soaps beads pictures etc. Great view. Seating inside and out.

Visited for the first time today and it was fantastic. Friendly & welcoming and dogs allowed. The food & drinks were delicious and I love how the milkshakes are served in jugs, quirky. Stunning views too

Popped in here for lunch after taking our dog to Bovisand beach. Absolutely loved the location and views on a lovely sunny day. The menu was excellent and the doggy friendly staff were all bright, cheerful and chatty. Good value for money, highly recommended going there.

We drove here to have a look at the old fort which was unfortunately blocked off. But this delightful little cafe more than made up for it. Best jacket with chilli con carne I've had in a long time with lovely side salad and coleslaw, all seemed home made. Good capuchino too. Freindly service. We risked the rain and ate outside and whiled away a lovely hour chatting to another couple who were also eating. We hope to make another visit before too long. Convenient car park and nearby beach. Views of the bay.

Went for breakfast with Network Plymouth for a change of scenery from our usual venue. The breakfast was fantastic and brilliant service from lovely staff!

A lovely place to stop after a blustery walk down the beach. Much cosier on the inside than you’d think, with lovely wooden tables and nice decor. Friendly staff and nice food, the cakes looked amazing but my lunch was too big to leave room!

Popped in for a business networking event and it was lovely. Haven't been to Bovisands in over 10 years and it was nice to go back and see how much has changed. Food and service were top notch! They are open 7 days a week and only close at Christmas and new year which is brilliant.

Very reasonable parking charges especially in the Winter. Good view over the Sound etc from the front row of the car park. Very pleasant staff. Seating inside and out. The cakes are moreish. Well worth a visit but check opening time so as not to be disappointed.

Visited this lovely little cafe on a wet and windy spring weekday. Was immediately welcomed in by the staff. Toastie portions were huge and delicious! As was the veggie chilli and tea pots for one. The cafe is fully wheelchair accessible and dog friendly too! Definitely recommend and will be back! The view is lovely too! The only downfall is needing to pay for parking but it's understandable and common anywhere nowadays!

A hidden gem that sits on the top of the cliff with a great range of comforting food. We visited for breakfast and enjoyed both the full English and the vegetarian breakfast. The views from inside are limited because there is only really one window. The food was freshly cooked and delicious.

One of our absolute favourite cafes to visit. Very dog friendly. The food is amazing, always such good quality, the toasted halloumi sandwich is so good! The service is fantastic, very friendly, food doesn't take long. The coffee is fab too. We love sitting outside, plus a great view! Couldn't recommend more, thank you.

I regularly use this lovely, small, family cafe for breakfast. It is modestly priced and the food is freshly cooked (to your specific taste should you so wish) and delicious. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the service is prompt. They have a vast collection of china teapots, many of which are on display. The location is stunning, right on the south west coast path, so an ideal place to begin or finish a lovely walk.

We had the most delicious breakfast with a view! The staff are very lovely and friendly. We can not wait to be back!

Wow! what an incredible place. While out exploring, came across Cliffedge Cafe. Lovely stop with a great selection of food choices, service was incredible and the scenery to match.

The food took extremely long to come out,Furthermore the staff and owner were extremely rude in the way they talked to me and another.would not recommend going here because the food and service was poor and the journey out there was appalling

Booked for birthday breakfast and it was brilliant! Food was excellent and we were really well looked after. The cafe was busy as Sunday morning but we had an amazing breakfast and felt really relaxed. The staff are lovely.

This was the perfect place to eat, at the end of a lovely walk. We took our two dogs for a lovely walk along the Devon headland and this cafe was the perfect place to sit down and enjoy an excellent breakfast/ brunch. The staff were very welcoming and the food was cooked perfectly. We even bought an extra sausage for the dogs, even though the lovely lady at the counter, had already given them treats! Thank you to all the staff. 😊

This Place I Hold close to my Heart ❤️ My Beautiful GrandMother is the very lady in the photo the Wonderful Owners show on their wall inside,We Lost Nan 15-10-23 To Be Able to come here and See her in her Prime Honours Her It’s Beautiful and even more special than before now,she came here at any given opportunity as she was born and lived through the war in bovisand our family ran the shop all those years ago and all lived beside one another in the original cottages,The Staff and Owners over the years met Nan and Listened to all her tales she brought in the photographs to show them and they did a wonderful thing in displaying them! The Food is Gorgeous! The shop is Beautifully Done! Well worth the money and time to visit.Thank You all for keeping her memory Alive now seeing her in her special place fills my Heart with Joy!

Truly delicious freshly made food. Their tuna melt far exceeded my expectations. I didn't know a tuna melt could do that. The portion was ample and the salad dressing beautiful. The millionaires shortcake was rich and indulgent.

Very reasonably priced food that was delicious. My partner ordered the full English breakfast and the portion was huge. I ordered the tuna melt, and even my 15 month old thoroughly enjoyed it! Will definitely come back when we are back in the area. We didn't get any tea but saw that they were serving them in really cute teapots.
