Amazing coffee and flapjack as a lovely snack. Fabulous view over the salcombe estuary. Will most definitely be returning :)

We can’t pass the place on a market day without having a burger. The house sauce is to die for and very filling too! The two ladies (mother and daughter) who run it are great!) and the coffee is lovely too. What more could you want.

Great place for al fresco eats and drinks outside the main hotel - sitting on lawn watching river traffic. Great crab sandwiches!!!

Amazing decor and scenery. Had a fabulous 3 course meal with friends. Canapés in the cocktail bar first and finished with coffee and petit fours. All dishes were really lovely and so nicely presented

open evenings for events. we haven't been yet. would definitely recommend if you want good quality farm produce, well done to the ring feeder ..

Nice selection on the menu, the sausage baps taste good. The steak pasty is a must try and the cakes section is amazing!

A nice little dog-friendly bar and restaurant which serves a nice breakfast. The outside decking is a good place to sit with your furry companion.

A wonderful tuna mayo sandwich with no salad. And the staff were wonderful. You could feel the love in every bite. Tasting that sandwich was orgasmic. Very much recommended,

Had a wonderful evening in the pub & restaurant. The views over the ocean are spectacular and and a beautiful full moon and its reflection in the sea. The food was excellent and generous portions. The barman and waiter were busy at the start due to the rugby being on but were still very friendly and got our various orders correct. We loved that this is a community pub and were happy to support it. Please support it too as it’s lovely and friendly and we want it to do well and stick around for many years to come!

We booked for a party of 5(and a dog) for Sunday Roasts, which we had ordered lamb, pork, beef brisket and a special Steak & Ale pie. All were tremendous. Staff were beyond helpful and pleasant from the moment we arrived. The Arancini starter was simply perfect too! Lovely ambience and atmosphere and an overall grand experience had by all (even Baxter the dog!) We will definitely be coming again.

Great lunch, good food (fish stew), and a good selection of beers, lovely service from the staff, we will be back when we're down that way again!

Not eaten here but been in to drink a couple of nights running. Fantastic pub with great ownership and staff. Gareth, Kit, Al and everyone else that has been there working have been excellent. Greatly recommended.
