An amazingly homely, warm place with incredible staff and exceptional food. Reasonably priced, delicious food for the whole family. Great kids options, wonderful options for Veggies & Vegans and they offer incredible Roasts. Our 5 year old was kept busy with free paper and crayons! Food was served quickly too which was a plus. The entire family had a brilliant evening.

The Church House Inn staff were extremely accommodating by giving us a table (a party of 7) despite the kitchen closing soon. The food was extremely good, definitely better than your typical pub food. Overall a pleasant experience, exactly what we needed after a long day at Bantham beach!

A really nice, well run old pub with good beers and great food. Lots of fish on the menu but also choices for meat eaters and veggie/vegan. I had scallops and my wife had a really tender steak. Not cheap but excellent value given the quality. There is a garden if you just fancy a pint.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at the Church House Inn in Churchstow, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service we received from the front of house, Sophie, was outstanding. We had our little boy, Monty, with us, who is 2 years old. Sophie really made a fuss over him and complimented his glasses, which we've been struggling to get him to wear. Her kindness made a big difference to us. Our waitress, Percie, was also incredibly kind and served us with a smile throughout our meal. For starters, we had the prawn cocktail. For mains, we enjoyed the half lobster and burgers, and for dessert, we had warm chocolate brownies. The food was piping hot, very tasty, and came out in no time at all. I would highly recommend the Church House Inn to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service. It is well worth the drive from Salcombe! We will definitely be back. James, Clare, Jeff and Monty

Stayed here for two nights whilst catching up with friends the room was absolutely beautiful Hope Cove the breakfast was lovely great choices the owners were very friendly and helpful our car wouldn't start as we were setting off to get there and we had to wait for a hire car and had to contact the Church Inn to say we didn't know what time we would get there as the Inn was only open certain days there is a key box to let yourself In which was ideal would definitely stay there again couldn't fault anything. Thank you.

A great traditional pub. Very cosy with old English charm and a feeling of history. The food is good, serving all the favourites that you might expect in any decent pub but with a modern and neat presentation. The Church House Inn can be relied on as a solid go-to for a meal out.

Good food but getting a bit board of the same old thing menu needs changing now folks on both the main and the deserts. Wine very pricey 37 for a bottle bit steep when you are dining out a meal for 4 including drinks cost 250. Can't afford that too often I know the cost of living but that's taking the piss.

A very warm and welcoming cafe with a very comprehensive menu, located close to the station, town centre etc I’ve often passed and noticed how busy it always seems to be and it was the same on the day that I visited. The food is piping hot, very tasty and arrives quickly. Good prices. There’s plenty of room for pushchairs etc.

Went with grandchildren for a treat we ordered children meals mashed potato was not very tasty tasted more like powdered. The sausage was overall okay, but the pub needs a clean and decoration needed badly , the pub is more for drinker's than a family pub. The staff are pleasant and friendly.

Down a small street leading off from the quayside sits this superb Italian restaurant. We had dinner one evening in November whilst we were staying in Dartmouth and I'm so glad we did. The bruschetta was brilliant but the pasta was exceptional and together with an amazingly tasty squash salad made for a great meal. The cosy and intimate feel of the restaurant was enhanced by the warm welcome and excellent service we received. On top of that, the drinks were sensibly priced with a good variety of wines on the menu. We had a great evening and I'm pretty sure you would too. We will certainly visit again when we are next in Dartmouth.
