Won a competition for a meal for 2. Collected it and it was so delicious. Service was good. Really nice food, which was hot. There was so much of it, I couldn't finish it all. Would recommend.

just came into the village for something to eat but we had a great experience, they had great food and staff. they gave us an amazing deal and chocolate at the end x

Their food is always excellent, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they play some beautiful music - you just need to turn up when it's not so busy so that you can hear it. Easily my favourite restaurant! My go to is a Chicken Jalfrezi with Keema Rice + Mango Chutney and Mixed Pickle 😋

The Nandons special curry is probably the best curry I have tasted, another fantastic meal and by far the best in the Devon.

Three of us went for a meal at Nandon and each dish was really very good. The service was excellent, dishes were explained regarding flavours and heat. They do not serve alcohol however they do have a good selection of soft drinks and non alcoholic beers.

Ordered Saturday night, although the wrong order was sent to begin with they were extremely helpful and it was rectified very quickly without fuss considering they are a 20+ minute drive away from me. Top food as per usual 😋

My takeaway was late, cold, disgusting. Kind of glad my order was missing items. Saved me space in the bin. Didn't get a refund for the missing items though

Excellent meal last night. Super service too. Railway curry is pretty mild and Jamalpuri had a nice kick to it. Will be going again when we next visit

We did a takeaway from Nandon, and we enjoyed our meal overall, though the korma and the makhani curries were too sweet.

We had a lovely meal here this evening. Great service from friendly staff and everything arrived quickly and tasted great. The Chicken Jalfrezi was particularly good.

Ordered several times from here and always had an amazing meal. Tonight however exceptional, onion bhajis , mixed veg rice, tikka nan, lamb jalfrezi and chicken tikka balti. Best Indian I've ever had, plus they delivered all the way to Holbeton! Speedy delivery, good price, amazing food, exceptional! Thank you so much x

Usually, very very high standard however this time we were very disappointed both curries were very watery (puddles at the bottom) and was tasteless. Maybe a new chef? Won’t be in a hurry to return.

absolutely fantastic place. I accidentally ordered the wrong thing. I went down to the shop to exchange it for what I wanted fully prepared to pay the difference. They very quickly got what I wanted and didn't charge me anything! the food was delicious as always! very happy I love this place!!

As ever, a stunning meal. Succulent tender chicken, well spiced and full of flavour. No grease or watery sauce. They never disappoint.

Had a vegetarian curry on delivery tonight , I had mainly sauce in my container , with some frozen veg a couple of bits of potato and a lonely piece of cauliflower . Worst meal I have ever had . Won’t be ordering again .

We dropped in for an early dinner after a long weekend of walking through a (very wet) Dartmoor. Seeing our hiking gear and muddy boots the staff asked 'are you hungry?' and proceeded to throw in some complementary starters and extra large portions to fill us up. The hospitality and customer service was incredible, and it was a perfect way to end the weekend. Thanks so much!

Ordered via justeat. order for collection delayed when we got there with no communication. 2 dishes missing equalling £12. Restaurant has said it's our problem for not checking during collection. Pretty poor customer attitude.

Very poor chicken shashlik - oversized pieces of onion and green/red pepper. Chicken had slightly mustardy flavour. I recently had this dish at The Viceroy Indian restaurant in Duffield, Derby, and was blown away with how great it was. Sadly, it's not up to that standard here - not tonight anyway.

Wow!! Pretty blown away by the food I've just had here, asked for a curry with a madras heat, but with a bit more substance. Didn't disappoint. Came loaded with peppers, onions and some chillies. Very flavoursome I finished it 10 mins ago and can still taste it.

We have ordered from here for a few years, but last weekend was terrible. The mushroom rice had hardly any mushrooms and the lamb passanda was very tough meat and not much to the sauce. Sadly that is it for me, I will not be going back.

Food was way too sweet. Butter chicken, paneer tikka masala and garlic naan all far too sweet for dishes that should not be sweet at all

Chicken in the korma was dry, and the nandon special rice was somehow tasteless for something so colourful. This was very disappointing. The only pro was that it arrived early!

Enjoyed another delicious family meal, including smokey vegetable Thaba with garlic rice. Everything we ordered was lovely, left full and happy!

We had 3 different vegetable curry's, all were lovely especially the Thaba on a sizzling hot plate. Onion bhajis nice and crispy and nan bread lovely and fluffy. Nandon is by far the best Indian restaurant for miles around.

Tikka sauce was watery and chicken was dry and salty. Special fried rice was not special, it was quite bland.

Arrived 2 hours late. Food was tasty but luke warm with everything needing re heating.

Nandon never disappoints. the food was hot, perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. I broke a personal rule and actually bought a portion of their chips. Normally I wouldn't expect much from an Indian takeaways chips but my mind was blown. Hot crispy and delicious. Nandon might not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Recommended without reservation.

This is undoubtedly the best Indian food I have had since we left London. I personally think it is head and shoulders above some of the overpriced places in Brick Lane E 1. The owner is a really good fella who always has time for a chat and advice on the menu.

Hi, I ordered Chicken Makhani and got a Korma or something similar. It was not to my taste at all, very sweet. Not happy at all 😡

I would say that this meal wasn’t as good as usual, but it was still good. The pappadum were soft and the lovely yellow dip was very watery. One had spilt all over the order but not the end of the world. I recommend the Samosa - yummy starter. The curry was flavourful as usual. I even went for a different one this time!

Fab takeaway last Sunday, railway, thaba, tikka masala and khatta. Naans and rice. All delicious, piping hot, generous portions. They are great with allergies too. All staff were friendly.
