Great place for al fresco eats and drinks outside the main hotel - sitting on lawn watching river traffic. Great crab sandwiches!!!

Amazing decor and scenery. Had a fabulous 3 course meal with friends. Canapés in the cocktail bar first and finished with coffee and petit fours. All dishes were really lovely and so nicely presented

It was amazing! The food is soooo goood and delicious! And the atmosphere was nothing more than stunning!

My wife and I had a really enjoyable evening meal at the hotel. The service was great and welcoming. I had a (big) bowl of local mussels, my wife had a baked plaice "special". Faultless! And washed down by a couple of the honey / citrus ale! Then, all was good with the world. 2 days later we returned for a lunchtime snack polishing off the tasty crab sandwich and fish finger sandwich. Oh, and two more pints of ale.

I came on Sunday with my springer spaniel to meet my mum for coffee and cake , which was delicious ! The staff always make a fuss of my dog and the service was amazing

The food was absolutely excellent, coming in as a group of 4, the staff were attentive and the service was excellent, great atmosphere and amazing food, well recommended 😀 👌 I will be returning

Fish and chips worst I've had and expensive.

What a fabulous place! I spent the best part of a day there. Do the audio guided tour of the building then enjoy the huge garden.

One of our regular haunts each year, when we visit South Devon. Always something interesting in the shop and the pottery painting section is the best we've ever tried. Nice selection of drinks, sandwiches, cakes, etc. in the cafe area. Great place to visit.

Visted Dartmouth decided to get some lunch looking for somewhere and came across this place on a side road. Very cosy inside and pleasant staff. Good food
