Fabulous. We visited for a High Tea for my mums birthday. Absolutely blown away by the food quality and quantity. The staff could not have been better, warm friendly, welcoming and attentive. Fantastic little gem in Dartmouth that you absolutely must visit. The scones where amazing and you could tell they where home made and baked with love. They had an amazing selection of gluten free and home baked cakes

Absolute gem. Very clean and neat, lovely staff. Proper tea and a nice size cup for coffee. Personally I much prefer a smaller, stronger coffee than some of these weak buckets one is given. Delicious savoury cheese scones and coffee and walnut cake, again, portion size perfect. Definitely will come back.

Visited for lunch while on a day trip to Dartmouth. Very nice place and very friendly staff. The food was good but my only disappointment was that it seemed a bit expensive for what we had (myself a pasty & my partner crab sandwich. It seems they (and other places in the south west are assuming a lot of customers are from London & the S.E & will pay London prices. The drinks we had were also very expensive (I felt £ 3.95 for a can of sprite quite excessive). If the prices were a bit lower I would recommend this cafe.

We called in for a coffee and quick snack on our recent visit to Dartmouth. The service was excellent as was the coffee and the presentation was fantastic. We enjoyed it so much we decided to go back for lunch which again was beautifully presented and very tasty. My wife, being coeliac, decided to order the gluten free cream tea. The way this was presented was fantastic and a real unexpected surprise. Made it special.

We stopped here for a quick pot of tea and cake. My husband and I have visited this cafe before. It is a small cafe, but the service is fantastic and the tea is 'proper' tea (tealeaves). The tables are dressed in typical quaint afternoon tea-shop style and food and drinks were lovely. I had a cheese scone and it also had some tomato and cucumber with it. Found this fabulous tearoom by accident when looking for a place for lunch in Dartmouth. Friendly, helpful staff welcomed us to a table. Everything was spotlessly clean and real flowers on the tables were a lovely touch. The three of us had freshly made crab, smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches and an afternoon tea which were absolutely perfect, beautifully presented and extremely tasty. Sandwiches made with fresh granary bread came with a few crisps, homemade coleslaw and salad. The scones were still warm and served with clotted cream, jam on a cake stand decorated with fresh fruit. Tea was served in a china teapot with china teacups, tea strainer and timer to brew the tea. Fully recommend this lovely little tearoom.

Quaint little old tea room, with tea served in random antique bone china. I thought it was a little pricey for a cream tea, but when on holiday.... Nice presentation, warm scones and heaps of cream and jam. But not sure we needed all the bits of fruit decoration. Adding an extra tea bag and hot water sure put the price up for 2. There are cheaper cream teas in the town, but we had a pleasant break. Remember it's jam first.

Limited opening times, No food so asked out of curtesy if grandson could eat a snack. Was told no but to eat outside in the garden which had a closed sign on the gate, so had eat in the smoking area. Didn't feel particularly welcome. No alternative snack was offered. Wasn't very accommodating, we were staying local and would have returned for a meal but they said closed Monday and Tuesday and we would need to book if wanted to return. I would advise anyone to give this pub a a miss as there are much better pubs in the area
