Lovely cafe, an absolute delight. Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and service. There is plenty of choice and a cracking breakfast. Not to be missed.

One of our favourites places for lunch now. A very quaint little cafe in Yealmpton village with homemade food served daily. Seating inside and outside undercover. It's a very pretty place adorned with memorabilia and very comfortable to enjoy a lovely lunch. The quiche we would definitely recommend! The pastry is exquisite and mediterranean and feta cheese my favourite with a super little fresh side salad and coleslaw. Thankyou.

I saw that this cafe was on route to a coast path walk we were going to do and pictures looked cute so thought we would give it a go. On entry the man greeted us (I assume the owner) and that was really nice, he was super welcoming and chatty which was great and the cafe was really cute in decor and design - we hoped for good things! Ordered a pot of tea and it came in very cute tea cups and tea pot.. we looked forward to our lunch. I ordered a white bread bacon, cranberry and Brie sandwich, my partner the same but in a panini. Mine came but was on brown bread.. not a huge deal breaker but not what I ordered. The crisps on the side were very stale as if they had been out a while, and the bacon was very fatty. Salad was great. The added addition of hard bits of what can only be described as some kind of bone in both our bacon portions was an unwelcome surprise. Cheap bacon we think. Considering the lunch was at top price, £20 odd for this for both of us, we expected better quality food. And really hoped for it because the cafe was lovely and the people were really nice - had the food have been better it could have been something to return for however sadly we will not be returning.

A lovely friendly local cafe! We have been here twice now, the first time just to get some homemade cake to takeaway for a treat on a walk and the second time for lunch. Both times the cake has tasted absolutely amazing! When visiting for lunch we both had poached egg, avocado and bacon on toast which was nice and we sat outside in the seating area to the rear. The staff always se friendly and welcoming, would definitely come back again!

We enjoyed delicious breakfasts sitting in the outdoor area which was prettily decorated with bunting and plants. Staff were friendly and efficient- it was a pleasure to support an independent cafe in a beautiful area.

Having spent the week in Noss Mayo we called here on our way back up North. We had to be out of our accommodation for 10am so this was a perfect stopping point to 'fuel up' before heading home. We all had a full breakfast with coffees and they were spot on. A credit to the village and the area. Nellie's cakes looked yummy too, but unfortunately we were too full to sample any, save that for next time.

I like to support small local businesses, especially eateries, as I believe they give a place for locals to gather and when the food & drink are on point...even better. I have sampled only cake & sandwiches with a usual delicious coffee at this place, but recently convinced my husband to join me. We chose the sweet chilli chicken paninis, and to say they were bereft of filling & taste, is an understatement! On suggestion that this was the case, they were replaced by another attempt (Brie, bacon & cranberry). The Brie had been cut so thinly that it could only be identified by its outer skin and a smearing of cranberry. To add to this, prices have increased! Why does the hospitality sector think that post lockdown means they can reduce content and increase price. Sadly another establishment crossed off the list!

We visited Nelli's cafe as a family of 3. The breakfast was amazing, great value for money, the milkshakes were delicious and cakes so many to choose from were fabulous. We will certainly return. The customer service was second to none. Made to feel very welcome.. Such a cosy atmosphere we loved it here.

A wonderful village cafe, a lovely location and a warm and friendly welcome. Plenty of choice for breakfast or lunch. The food is beautiful, freshly prepared and well presented. The cafe itself is spotlessly clean and has a warm and homely feel.

The previous cafe was sold up and many like me feared that a cafe option here would be lost but it’s good to discover that there is a robust enthusiastic new business. They have an active social media page which gives a good idea of what they are and would like to be about. I’m not a great fan of pub eating unless I’m up for a couple of ales, nor do I warm to farm shop cafes unless I’m with little kids or pensioners. Nelli’s which is friendly and fairly laid back is a good place in Yealmpton.

This time they delivered in 30mins (compared to the last time I ordered, when it took 1.5 hrs (N.B. both ordered at similar times)). Tasty pizza. Not bad for take away pizza which, in my opinion, is always a massive gamble in London.

Ordered the BBQ chicken ans Spaniard Vegan pizza, both delicious. Order arrived promptly on time.

Fast delivery and pizza was very nice. My side was freezing cold. I called up restaurant said they would redeliver me some. I'm still waiting....

Delivery took 1.5 hrs. I chased on the phone - the guy I spoke to was apologetic and gave me an approximate ETA (which wasn't too far off). The delivery driver was also apologetic. I ordered the Four Seasons. It was very tasty and would recommend it, but just be aware that the ingredients aren't arranged in the traditional way - rather than having 25% covered in artichokes, 25% pepperoni, etc., all the ingredients are scattered across the pizza. It was nice, just not what I expect when I order a Four Seasons.

Good pizza. They had not read my instruction to phone me on arrival and the delivery man tried to make out that it was my fault somehow. "It's my job", he said. It's your job to read the comment I added to the order, idiot.

The pizza in itself (base and toppings) was good however the vegan cheese let it down unfortunately. So pleased to see a vegan option but please update the cheese - violife perhaps?

Asked for no anchovies on the pizza, but wasn't done so made the pizza inedible for me..

Pizza wasn't delicious, but was okay. Maybe quite small for the price . But the vegetarian lasagna was really good.

We ordered 2 pizzas - 1 vegan and 1 vegetarian. My vegan girlfriend loved the vegan pizza, however I was disappointed by the non vegan pizza. The cheese was more like a cheddar than a mozzarella and the Base was average...

Such good vegan pizza. Usually order when on offer so maybe just a little too much ;) but well worth it! Such good options.

Usually always order from here and it's fantastic! But they delivered the wrong order and gave me spicy chicken instead of normal chicken. The delivery driver struggled to find me and could not understand m directions as his English was not brilliant.

I have ordered from Village Pizzas direct in the past and know their pizzas to be excellent. However, using the Just Eat app was not as successful, as it allows you to order options which aren't in fact available. (ie you can't have a stuffed crust base with a vegan topping). Nonetheless, I was able to order and pay for this before I discovered the problem through a phone call from Village Pizza.In future I will continue to order by phone as it avoids unnecessary confusion.

They didn't delivery what I order and I call back and they say they did and am a lying. I do a lot of orders with them but this time very bad service on delivery and the person who I contact.... They don't take care of costumers .

An hour and 20 minutes is too long to wait even for the best pizza... And this was just very mediocre pizza. I guess on the positive side, by the time it arrives you're so hungry it will taste amazing nonetheless..

It took an hour and a quarter to get here and when it did.. it was the wrong pizza. Easy mistake to make though. The gentleman on the end of the phone though was beyond nice about it and a replacement only took 20 or so minutes to get here and Village is amazing pizza. I hate giving them a less than perfect rating as they have the nicest people working there and the best delivery drivers (the one that delivered the second tried to get me to keep the original, which I would have if it didn't have meat on). Really impressed with service despite initial delay and pizza as always was amazing.

We ordered the BBQ dream and the Imperial pizzas, and what can we say.... best pizza we've had! The BBQ Dream was loaded with lots of toppings and cheese, but wasn't greasy at all, and the Imperial was absolutely delicious. Together with the sides, (mozarella sticks and garlic mushrooms) this was a very happy dinner.

It's THE BEST! i tried other Takeaway but this one it's very good! Pizza was piping hot. Juicy and well made. I'll order again ! Thank you :)

Made me very ill should of never of eaten it . It tasted rank the pasta dishes are dissgusting . What a waste of money . My dog wouldn't even eat the left overs 😷😷😷😷

Pizza was awful and gave me an upset tummy straight after (ordered one of the vegan ones so stay away from them). Only saviour was the mozzarella sticks which were great and edible at least. Really disappointed in the pizza.

Defo one of the better pizza places

It was ok. Foods good, but the small pizzas could only feed a toddler. For the price they need to increase the size of the pizzas as you get more for your money at Icelands. The delivery driver got a bit pissy because I told him I ordered Sprite and not 7up( note: they are not the same drink). I hate 7up.

Thank you Village Pizza for having such a great variety of vegan pizza options! The pizza isn't hot enough when it reaches us, but that's not surprising given that we are on the edge of their delivery area. Nothing that a few minutes in the oven can't fix. Fab, tasty pizzas - we always order from VP when we want pizza.

Pizza was second rate and the chicken wings off

Delivery was super fast and the pizza is great. The garlic bread was a bit soggy but nothing too bad.

So rare to find a place that delivers vegan pizza, and this one was great! good selection of vegan pizzas and the 'chicken style' toppings were tasty. Non-vegan sister thinks there should have been more vegan cheese but she enjoyed it nonetheless. I'd recommend this place.

Always a good pizza, not gourmet but hits the spot.

My previous order was satisfying, but this one was worse. Two out of four toppings of my pizza were missing. They should be more careful in preparing the pizzas. The lasagna and spaghetti has a big portion and is not pricey.

Not as good as it used to be and have had food poisoning the last two times. Unfortunate, used to be my favorite.

We ordered extra toppings on a pizza but they weren't on the pizzza when it arrived. Guy who answered the phone offered is a pizza instead of a refund but who knows when we'll order from them again.

It took 3 HOURS for this order to arrive. Rang after 2 hours and was told a refund wasn't possible. will never use them again

Terrible experience. My pizza was practically missing all its toppings and it was all squashed on one side of the box! Potato scoops had no cheese on them o.o And the worst thing: I ordered 3 drinks and when I told the delivery guy he looked at me like I was stupid and he acted like he didn't understand any word of English. Very sad experience...

Great vegan pizza, amazingly tasty. Ordered 2 medium pizzas. One came with slightly more fake meat than the other but can't fault the quality. Order took an hour on the bank holiday weekend which is pretty good going! Definitely worth ordering from.

Arrived late and cold. Many items and sauces missing

Great quality food, a bit expensive but well worth it. Every time I order they are always late and when I call to enquire they are super food. Such a shame.

Very excited to see vegan pizzas on the menu, until it turned up. The pizza itself was very poor, the base in particular was awful, the toppings forgettable. Wasted opportunity.

Had to add a ridiculous amount of toppings to get up to the delivery amount due to 20% discount, but that was not a problem. Excellent pizza with a ton of things on it.

Vegan pizza was great - would be interested to know what cheese substitute they use. The choice makes the price worthwhile. If they had more vegan dips, this place would be perfect! Not much difference between the deep pan and thin crust but other than that, recommended.

Food was good, however they forgot my dips and garlic bread. Very disappointing

Nothing special pizza like everywhere

Terrible experience. When the delivery came an item of the order was missing, and the pizza delivered was not the one we had ordered. It was also cold and looked un-edible. After phoning up they promised the delivery of the actual pizza we had ordered, plus the other item which hadn't been delivered. When the new pizza has finally arrived, it hadn't been cut for us and they still hadn't brought us the other ordered item. Bad experience all round, and the quality of the 1st pizza given was awful, we tried to eat a tiny bit as they said we could keep it whilst we wait for our actual pizza, and we couldn't stomach it, not at a standard that should be delivered out to people. Also frustrating to pay for items of food and never actually receive them. AVOID!

As always Village Pizza delivered promptly. Pizza (Vegetable Harvest and a Ham and Mushroom. was great, full of flavour and not oily like some pizza places seem to make them. WIll continue to use these people as long as they keep up this standard....and it's been a few years so far so I'm guessing there isn't much chance of that happening. Only one gripe...they always seem to be a bit stingy with the mushrooms.

The person that delivered the item was cheeky, saying that I should have ordered a pizza instead of ice cream. He said: "we are pizza delivery, not tesco". That was all he said.

Took 1 hour 40 mins to arrive and was stone cold. No one answered the phone to rectify the situation. Terrible pizza
