The best restaurants in Yate Central South Gloucestershire South West

Ordered to collect. Arrived 15 minutes early. Was made to feel welcome, given a table to wait at along with a refillable drink. Food arrived promptly, hot and packaged well. When arrived home food was still of restaurant quality. Plenty of chicken and sauce in the wrap, hot crispy chips and generously filled garlic pitta bread. Thankyou Nandos Yate.

Basically at 11:25 am I just came to buy footlong sub plant patty. I just told her to pack separate I need to stay whole day in queen Elizabeth hospital and she saying me that your subway policy to not pack separate if then we need to charge in 6inch price. I also work for subway for 3 years in Somerset but I don’t know any of these policy . They need to understand the customer.

The first time I went some while ago, I had a lovely time. I'm not sure if the staff changed hands since or something, but I never had that experience again. Over the course of a year before this recent closure I would intermittently visit this Kaspas if the urge struck (at least 5 visits, all at different times of day and days of the week) and no matter when I went it was the same - bored, disinterested and frankly rude staff who would ignore you no matter how long you stood and gave you curt, snappy phrases if you tried to speak to them. Amusingly they apparently never once had the ingredients for a brownie sundae - y'know, brownies, vanilla ice cream, whip... the basics - for an entire year, regardless of the day of the week or time of day (why even keep it on the menu, then-?). It was always cringeworthily quiet, and no wonder if the staff is going to glare at you, what an uncomfortable environment. I'm not surprised this place didn't last very well. A real shame.

Misery guts serving! the actual place is disgustingly filthy ! Floor needs a good clean as do the tables chairs glass , everything in fact crumbs everywhere!! Tables are sticky just generally really unhygenic !

Not sure why there is still a miss millies in yate to be honest, driest chicken ever, shocking staff, I place an order through uber eats an hour before they close and they cancel the order and turn their phones off (twice this has happened now) all the good reviews are definitely from friends of staff because not once have I had decent customer service in there, no one ever looks like they’re happy to help let alone want to be there. I think yate would benefit from having a Burger King again instead of this sad excuse of a fast food chain, they are also no where near busy enough during the day to have run out of items on the menu to be cancelling orders placed at 1050pm when they close at midnight. Pathetic service.

Not sure why they bother asking what dips you want with your food as I’ve not been given any in months

Read a lot of negative reviews about this place. It has changed, but in terms of a fish and chip shop it ticks all boxes. One size fish, One size chips is obviously their way of simplifying the menu. Fish was decent with crispy batter, nice chips. Good value also.

It was NY eve and 4pm- and I took my employer and her son whom I care for, and although it was busy, the waitress found us a table. Great friendly environment

Food was excellent really delicious 😛 and the staff we’re outstandingly polite and well organised would definitely eat here (don’t my personal trainer)

Nicky... Absolutely disgraceful customer service skills! I work in retail.... If I had her customer service skills I wud be disgusted within myself and be grateful that I managed to even get employed???

Called in at 3pm last Tuesday and cafe was shut although it is meant to remain open till 5pm, the store itself would benefit from a refurb as it looks dreary

Always an amazing experience! I have visited Nando's Yate on several occasions now, and honestly, I can't wait to visit again. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. Great and quick customer service. Thank you Nando's 😊

Went for lunch. Had to wait at the counter for a longtime. Member of staff no paying any attention to us. She carried on doing things instead of serving us. Then my wife had to walk into the kitchen and ask if there is anyone serving. The girl behind the counter then did respond by saying I'm busy! Then we placed our order and got very abrupt and frosty response. If you hates customers why work in a cafe

Awful - Over an hour to be delivered. Food was ordered at 18:03 but wasn't delivered until 19:10 - ice cold food, tracking system didn't display correct information, tried to call 5 minutes after it was actually delivered to be met with no answer 20 calls and 25 minutes later still no answer
